Outlook / MS Exchange problem. When I send an e-mail message, the recipient sees another shipper

It is a mystery which two it professionals do have not not solve. Here's the scenario.

My colleague sends an e-mail message. The recipient receives the message, but me! To the receiver, the message appears to have been sent by me. When responding to the message, the reply come back to me, not my colleague who sent the message.
We use the two MS Outlook 2010. Through MS Exchange Server, messages are sent.
Just to add to the confusion, it is not every message coming out...
Thanks for any help.

I use AOL as your browser with Firefox.
I get an email that has various 'links', in blue. However, when I try to transmit electronic mail, all the blue links disappear and only standard writing.
The person to whom I submit, therefore, only sees normal and no script 'links' in blue

  • This is the error code I get when I send and receive mail from the window

Account: "pop.west.cox.net', server: 'pop.west.cox.net', Protocol: POP3, server response: '-ERR an authentication mechanism is REQUIRED ', Port: 995, secure (SSL): Yes, Server error: 0x800CCC90, error number: 0x800CCC18

Which would indicate that: login with secure password authentication should be checked in tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Servers.

That said, this account has ever worked? I use Cox on the West Coast and I use port 110 for the outgoing. Port 25 for incoming. And SSL is not checked here.

  • When you send an e-mail using Outlook Express, I immediately get this message; "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please see the list of errors below for more details"

When you send an e-mail using Outlook Express, I immediately get this message; "Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please see the list of errors below for more details". Unfortunately, there are no errors listed below and the green bar is frozen on the screen. The message remains in my Outbox and repeated again and again sending. There is absolutely no record and file sent in my sent box. TIA - Ernie

You have apparent dbx file corruption. A common problem.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in custom Mode and uncheck analysis when the option is the result of e-mail messages.

    Compact often as specified above.

    And backup often.

When I send an e-mail, sometimes there is no record that it was sent in my Outbox. In addition, there are an indication I'm getting all my e-mail. I checked this by sending me an e-mail to another e-mail system (the University mail) is a more recent. When my wife sends mail from the same account, there is never any document which it was sent. Can anyone help?

Make sure that under Tools | Options | Who send his game to save a copy in the sent items folder.  If his shows always do not up, so try to compact and repair the database (see www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) and also to check antivirus or other 3rd party program interference.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 and see the point #15 FYI.

You can also send an email or copy it yourself to ensure you have messages and check on your mail server to ensure that spam filters are not block incoming messages you want.  Most mail servers now have filters.

  • How can I hide the addresses in my list of contacts in specific group when I send an e-mail to this group?

How can I hide the addresses in my list of contacts in specific group when I send an e-mail to this group?  I don't want to have all email addresses

made available to everyone in the group.

    Thank you!

You use Windows Mail? The bold at the bottom is the party concerned.

You can also create groups if you send e-mail to the same people often.

You can create a single group name (or alias) to use when sending a message to several contacts at the same time. Just create a group name and add individual contacts to the group. Then just type the name of the group in the box for when you send mail.

    1. in the address book, select the folder in which you want to create a group. Click New in the toolbar, and then click New Group.
    2. the Properties dialog box opens. In the group name box, type the name of the group.
    3. There are several ways to add people to the Group:
    a. to add a person from your address book list, click Select members, and then click a name in the address book list.
    (b) to add a person directly to the group without adding the name to your address book, type the person's name and e-mail address at the bottom of the Properties dialog box and then click Add.
to add a person to both the Group and your address book, click New Contact and enter the appropriate information.
    (d) to use a directory service, click Select members, and then click search. Select a directory service in the drop-down list at the end of the text box. After finding and selecting an address, it is automatically added to your address book.
    4. Repeat for each addition until your group is defined.

    Note

    a. to view a list of your groups separately from the list of address book in the address book on the view menu, make sure that folders and groups is selected.

    b. you can create multiple groups, and contacts can belong to several groups.

If you want to send to a group without addresses are displayed for each recipient, open the address book and make a new entry. Enter the name of the group in the area of the display, but use your address. (Some Internet service providers require a legitimate address in the line to and recipients will know it's from the Group).

Click on the button to. Enter the name of the group using your address. Enter the group in the BCC field.
  • Check that my professional e-mail on her internet-only do not reply or send new e-mail messages

When I check my WORK email on the internet, it doesn't let me reply or send new e-mail messages.  This seems to be a problem in Windows Vista.  I have windows xp on my laptop and it works fime.  There are many of us in the office who have Vista Home and we all have the same problem.  When you try to reply or send the new message, the body of the e-mail is gray.  You can put the e-mail address and subject, but that's all.  Help, please!  Thank you!

A form is usually used by a web mail application any javascript or Java to do the sending. If you do not have Java installed, I'd go the the http://java.com to the site and download it. It is also possible that your IT pro has Setup Exchange server in your workplace, and you need installed to manage your mail. Without knowing what it does, it will be hard you send you responses.

There are settings in the browser Options, depending on whether one. IE menu Tools, Options, Advanced tab, check boxes enable the use of javascript functions. A high security framework would disable those.

  • I have problems to connect to Windows Live Mail on the Hotmail account.

Connection window Live Mail Hotmail problems

I have problems to connect to Windows Live Mail on the Hotmail account.  I was wondering if anyone knows if this requires a paid subscription to Hotmail.  Microsoft does not explain this.
To configure the POP3/SMTP to Hotmail/MSN/Live.com access accounts in Windows Mail, use these settings:
Make sure that all of your settings agree thereby. If you get an error message, do a right click on your error message, copy, then paste it into an answer here. We cannot do a lot of troubleshooting without the full error message.

To give you a little history, Windows Mail does not support the HTTP messaging, which for a long time was the only authorized method of access for free Hotmail accounts. In addition, given that the development of Windows Mail was frozen in July 2006, there no knowledge that Microsoft has enabled POP access for free Hotmail/Live/MSN accounts in February 2009. Therefore, the Windows Mail Account Setup Wizard is hardcoded to reject the Hotmail and MSN addresses. To work around this limitation, when you enter your Hotmail/MSN email address, initially, use a fake domain, such as * address email is removed from the privacy *. After the account setup is complete, you can go back into the settings and correct your email address.

I came across this problem with Outlook Express similar years when Microsoft decided that Outlook cannot access Hotmail accounts on subscription.  Email client has no connection to Google problem.  Thank you

  • I want to send an e-mail message to someone and I get a pop up that says that there is a suspicious activity in my account. What is a virous? What should I do?

While sending an e-mail message to someone a pop-up that says there is a suspicious activity in my account.
It says that I can not send. What can I do?

Well I don't know what e-mail provider you use, so I'm not 100%, what is happening here (it doesn't look like a problem with Firefox) but my difficulty would be the following:

  • When you print an e-mail message, it displays only a quarter of the page and then another quarter of page in the next and following pages.

My printer works perfectly on all other programs, but when I print an e-mail message from windows mail it only prints on one quarter of the page. I looked at the properties of the printer and it is selected for the 8 1/2 x 11 papper and all other properties appear to be the same as for any other program. Think there must be something in Windows Mail which is the cause of the problem

Check your Internet Explorer (Yes, IE), margins.

IE | File | Page layout. Default is 0.75, (19mm), all around.

  • Email sends two copies of e-mail to the recipient

Original title: program compatibility Application Applications App Apps game games Legacy Crash crashes Hang hangs

My email account send two copies of the same message every time I have send a message - that is to say whenever I have send a message, the recipient receives two copies of the same message. What should I do to solve this problem of e-mail "double"?

This behavior is usually caused by an anti-virus program that has been integrated with your e-mail program.

Uninstall your AV, reboot, reinstall the AV without the integration of messaging
