  I have users who manage to get the contacts stored in two databases that are displayed in the desktop in the form of 'AddressBook' Manager and "Address Book - All".  I want to access programtically contacts in two of these databases.

  I seem to be able to access only one of these databases via the Java API.

  Does support the Java API to access the contacts in any of these two contacts databases?

  If not, is there a possible way to access both of these databases other than the Desktop Manager?

  Use the PIM.listPIMLists to get a list of all databases PIM of a given type.  This allows you to access the data in each database.  Note that support for this has been added in BlackBerry device software 4.6.0 version.

  I have a BB 8520. All of a sudden when I compose new email it is not able to read the addresses of the "address book".

  If I get an e-mail address as there is no "Send" menu, there is only the menu "Save draft".

  I finally had to reinstall the OS, twice in fact because I "restored" my data which has already been altered and I've been to square.

  To sum up: made a clean install, did not restore all the data. Data copied to device after that outlook. Because it seems to work, I don't know why my handheld computer has been corrupted

  No, for troubleshooting the best way is to use the CLI that will give you debug output on where it is lacking.

  For configuration, outside the CLI, ASDM and CSM, unfortunately there is no other tool that works on Linux/Freebsd because it is more specific orders of the ASA and only limited to the CLI, ASDM, or CSM.

  Windows RT, you would go to the people app to change e-mail addresses and add new addresses. Tap the contact you want to change, going back upward slightly at the bottom of the screen and select new contact to add a contact.
