  When this printer is connected to the network via Ethernet, of builtin in 30 seconds about initialization, it briefly flashes the message on the status Panel 'Printing document' immediately gives the above error and will not respond.   Hello, I have a quick question, are you able to directly connect the printer to a laptop? Or a machine that isn't on the number turned away coupon network? I was wondering if you could just have something lurking around hidden on the network which is always something of this show, I try to print to the machine. Also, I try and unplug the workstation that started this issue, then connect the computer to the network and see if the error returns. Usually with a code of 49 error dealing with updated firmware that you did, or a corrupted file that hits the machine. I don't know if my answer will help any but hope it helps to point to a solution.

  I use a portable 64-bit windows 10. Recently I download driver, such as listed in the list. I couldn't theabove printer. I then change to other drivers who had PostScript, I had managed to get the printer to print but only almost a quarter of the page. The mistake that would keep that appears is "49 Err 3D910C8. The printer was asked to "turn off then turn on. The problem is not resolved.

Because in this forum, someone said that HP Laserjet P2055d/P2055dn/P2015,... all of them work with windows 7, 8 or 10 (he is very old) and everybody need replace new printer or pay certain amounts of money to solve the problem.

  I have a new computer with Windows 10.  I have connected my LaserJet P2055d and recognized Windows and the driver PLC6.  I don't have the ability to print double-sided, like I did when I was with this printer with a computer running Windows 7.  Any advice would be appreciated on how to acquire the ability to do double-sided printing.

  The function "automatic detection" used by some drivers on the install (or update) does not always; make sure the driver knows that a duplex unit is present on the printer (assuming that a single is present):

  • For the instance of the printer in question, bring up the printer properties dialogue.
  • Select the device settings tab.
  • Make sure the duplex unit is set to installed and not installed.

  You will probably need to be logged in with administrator credentials in order to change the settings of the device.

  I had help from HP support as my LaserJet P2055d did not work properly. The cooperative has taken over my computer (Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) and got, it works. However, now even if the printer will appear in devices and printers and works normally, it is not in all programs or programs and features in the Control Panel, so there is no way to uninstall it if necessary.   After you install Laserjet P2055d on Windows 8.1, I can no more choose advanced configuration. This means that I can't choose double-sided print quality, print and so on.

  I tried to solve the problem by downloading the drivers and so on, but I always get the message "the printer not on the list.

• LaserJet P2055d: Printing on both sides

  I got my default printer settings to print on both sides of the A4, but then I moved my printer on my router to allow another computer at home to print on it when my main computer is turned off.  I don't get the same preferences to printer from the printer on the router moving domestic Net gear that is part of the network and under available it does not give me the option of priting on both sides of the paper.

  I tried to update the driver, but I think that I later, anyone know how to fix this?  He is now asking me manually print on both sides in word and before he used to do it automatically.

  Are you sure that you select the printer properties dialogue rather than the property dialog?

  It is easy to re - configure the printer driver to use the Duplex feature & you should be able to use the duplex automatic rather than manual option.

  Go to START-online devices & printers-right click the printer driver online => select printer properties => select tab device settings (see attachment)

  Under installable options change the duplex (for 2 sided) option to installed.  Apply the settings.

  Try to print two-sided job by selecting 2-sided printing option.

  49 errors are errors of firmware.  Firmware is the operating system of the printer and if it becomes confused it gives an error of 49. A number of things you can do to try to limit the error.  First of all, you want to go to the site web of hp and support to go to the drivers and download the latest firmware for your printer.  If your operating system does not list the firmware, just go to the 32-bit XP as the firmware appears here.  The same file works for all systems.  The printer must be in a ready state when you perform the upgrade.  You will want to remove all print jobs that may be in the printq which have not printed to avoid problems.  After upgrading the firmware, you want to go the same site and download the latest driver for your printer.  You can use the universal driver or the postscript driver.

  Another thing to check is in the advanced properties print by default to ensure duplex is on it as well. I met some problems where a setting is enabled in the preferences on the general tab, but not in the preferences of the Advanced tab.

  • There is a print job is "corrupt" (or something resembling a print job) transmitted by a workstation on your network);
  • is not with the printer itself (another firmware blocks rather then strictly manages an unexpected control sequence or set of such sequences).

  Recently, I bought a LaserJet M1136 MFP printer. Printing works fine. However, the quality of scan is very poor. In particular the written document scanning gives VERY VERY bad results in quality. This product comes with ReadIrIs product for scanning.

  However the native scan and ReadiRiS does any good in terms of improving the quality of scanning.

  I tried scanning documents with the recommended 300 dpi. Also, I used only B & W and grayscale for the tests.

  Appreciate if you have any solution to improve that.

• My hp LaserJet 1022nw fails to analyze the download of the printer driver after that macOS Sierra upgraded.
