P6-2270ea: speakers on my monitor HP 2009v no longer work after Windows update 10

Recently, I noticed there was no sound when using my desktop and when I clicked on the icon Audio (lower-right) I was told that no speakers are connected. I checked all connections between the tower and the monitor, but nothing obvious has been disconnected. There are some speakers on my HP 2009v monitor so I couldn't understand what was going on. The monitor is connected to the desktop computer, although it does not show as existing on the HP support assistant.

After a lot of research on websites and download updates from microsoft and HP, I found advice on your forum to download the software updates Windows 8.x. This and now my headset worked, but the speakers do not always work. Help please!

The monitor has its own set of controls and menu and I feel that something will not sit well with Windows 10 - when I tried to use the Auto function and the menu on the screen its has already disappeared (I got the extent of noise in the headphone previuosly).  I'm not in touch with this set of controls now, in which case I will go back to no sound at all!

Any detailed suggestions please? -I don't know much about computers so I am a little intimidated by things like open in safe mode, etc.

See you soon

Hello:

See if installing the audio driver IDT W10 Gets the sound working again.

Install and reboot the PC.

This package provides the Tempo IDT High Definition Audio Driver for assumption of office models that are running a supported operating system.

  • Monitor the issue after Windows update

I installed the Windows updates today, and after installing and restarting, the saturation of the color on my monitor is out of line. There is intense color saturation and it made all my files photo as well.

Running windows 7 and a HP w2338h monitor.

Thanks for any help on this

    fifthboss,
You should look through the updates installed to see if there was an update to the video card.  I would then check with the manufacturer of your video card for the latest driver.  If you just updated to the most recent and feel it affected the color then you can restore the previous driver.  Then you can contact the manufacturer of the video card on the driver and they know the issue and see if they are still aware and have a fix. • X 61 speakers does not work after last update Thinkvantage... help please try everything

    Hi all...

So after a Thinkpad update this morning, my speakers stopped working. Half an hour before the update, speakers worked very well. The X61did is not contact anytihng, wet, hot, or no matter what impact at this time.

The headphone Sockets worked, even if the internal speakers have not. I tried everything: uninstall Thinkpad was last updated to see if this caused the problem. I tried to reset the audio settings, nothing. I tried updating the BIOS and got the message that my bios is already up-to-date. I tried to get a sound card driver update, but given that the helmet worked I know that it is a speaker problem. Always done, no luck. I looked at every single place for a button mute or anytinhg, and everything shows it worked fine. There is a green check mark next to the speakers in the sound menu, and when I tested them for material, he says they worked very well. It shows that they are connected to the ports. I did a system restore (which did not work until I went in the ThinkPad menu to restart the computer), and then made a quick restart working then. I tried to reset the settings of the system. I tried to go into the system bios to see if the speakers somehow got muted. So far its everything that I can think of, and everything on google I found.

I bought the computer 3 months ago today. I would send in warranty but would like to try and attach it to the front... I don't think it's a software problem unfortunately. And I have midterms in next week otherwise I would send it. Any ideas? I can do without voiding the warranty?

great! Have fun with your tablet.

  • Monitor does not work after restoring update

Hello. I have a problem with my PC. My CPU is on but the monitor shows No Signal box. Previously, this problem seems too. But I fixed that by cleaning the RAM access (or other) Point. But this time, this method did not work. I have clear the CMOS, but the problem still not fixed. Oh yes, this problem occurs after the update. When updating, the update has failed and come back. When I start the PC again, nothing is displayed and there is no sound signal. Help me please. My characteristics are processor i3 Intel, ATI Radeon HD 5550 2 GB, DDR3 RAM 2 x 2, Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit.

    Hi Chloe,.

    Thank you for the update.

I understand that since the DVD burner does not work, you are not able to create installation media.

Put a USB installation media option. You can use both links to download and create below

Update Windows with only a product key

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/upgrade-product-key-only

    Here are the steps:

    1. download and open the Setup file install Windows 8 Microsoft from the link above.
    2. Enter your product key of Windows 8 and start the download.
    3. once the download is complete, select install by creating media.
    4. Select the USB flash drive (it should be the default choice) and insert the USB key.
    5. accept all prompts to clear the contents of the USB key in order to start the process.

  • Suddenly, Dell U2311H monitor two usb ports not working after 4 years

    Hello

I've had this U2311H monitor for 4 years now, and it is connected to the Dell XPS 8300 desktop.

The monitor has two USB ports on the left and for some strange reason, than all the two has stopped working recently.

    I did the following:

    1. disconnect the power to the monitor cable, then plug it back in to the monitor.

    2. unplug the upstream connect the USB cable (between the monitor and the desktop) and re.

    3. move the USB upstream on a different USB port on the desktop while the monitor is off.

    Nothing helps. :(

That I could do to make the USB ports on the monitor work? I lose 2 practical USB ports and kind of desperate.

    Thanks in advance!

    Jason

If it was me and the U2311H seemed much, I would just get a card 4 ports USB 2.0 Hub and plug it into the XPS 8300.

  • Speakers not connected after Windows update

Windows 7 update will be "unplugging" are then 'reconnect' after I did the updates.  I looked through the other questions on this and have not found a solution.  It is linked to updates and doesn't happen then.  Last updated "unplugged" and has not overturned it.  (in June). Question is "how to their return to the top" and "10 Windows will fix it"?  I used connections front and rear.

    I have a 810 years of HP-145qe;  Intel i7 - 4770K; PROCESSOR 350GHZ; 8 GB RAM; 64-bit computer.

  • No signal on monitor after Windows 8 logo

I have a Lenovo H430-2558-1ZU desktop computer running Windows 8 Pro with Media Center. I used it all of a sudden the video was cut, then I had no signal on the screen. I restarted and after Windows 8 logo, I get no Signal on the monitor. Windows 8 is running because I can hear sounds from the speakers. After using this method, I started in safe mode. I uninstalled the graphics card driver Intel HD of safe mode and restarted in normal mode. It was fine for a few minutes, but then I had no signal on the screen. So I started in new safe mode and uninstalled the driver. I installed a new Web site driver for intel, but I still have the same problem. I tried uninstalling the driver for the monitor, but still have the same question. The monitor is connected to the computer via a XtremeMac HDMI to DVIHDMI port. The monitor is aViewsonic VX1945wm I used for many years. I don't think that it is a hardware problem, because my Ubuntu install works fine. I am at a loss here, IDK what to do. Help, please!

I solved the problem. I plugged the monitor into the computer via VGA and it works beautifully. So I disconnected the VGA cable and reconnected the cable hdmi to dvi, and it is worked over HDMI since. Even after rebooting. It's a weird solution, but I'm glad it worked.

  • 23 - c010xt envy: internal speakers continue to work after plugging in the speakers external or headphones

I got this computer for years with no problems. I use external speakers connected to the audio jack on the back. Once you plug in external speakers (or headphones), the internal speakers are disabled as expected.

Last night my PC automatically installed the anniversary of Windows Update (update feature Windows 10, 1607 version). After this update, now my two internal speakers and external speakers are working at the same time! I can't turn off the internal speakers without also turning off my external speakers. The volume affects both sets of speakers as well. I tried to disable audio and re-clearance but that did not help.

How can I go back to my original audio behavior where connect speakers external (or headphones) to the rear Socket 3.5 mm would automatically turn off the internal speakers? Thank you.

    Diameter of thank you!

I couldn't select no other devices in reading or recording tab becuse it is said that they are "not connected". Update drivers, said that later I have already.

But when I checked the other post, he fixed it! Now I get only audio speakers again... just like before and how it was supposed to be. Thanks again.

Windows 10. So I did some research on a Microsoft support forum and I found this solution:

    • Access the device driver software manager - right click on IDT high definition audio CODEC - updated.
    • Choose "Browse my computer for driver software" - choose "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
    • Select "High Definition Audio Device" (not IDT high def...)  This is important) and click Next. You get a warning message but answer 'yes '.
    • Once windows have updated driver software, try to play the audio again and check.

After that, my second monitor stopped working. The system will not identify it more. Hello @MAlex_B,

Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! The forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I understand that you have a problem with the display and wanted to help you!  I see only after an update, the external monitor no longer works.

Given that this problem happened recently, have you tried to perform a System Restore, to define the notebook to its previous working state?  If this does not work, have you tried to update the drivers of graphics Chipset and BIOS on the HP website directly?  You can find the drivers for you product here: drivers - HP's ENVY for laptop - 15-ae178ca

Please post back with the results.  Let me know if this information helps you solve the problem by marking this message as 'accept as Solution', this will help others easily find the information they seek.  In addition, by clicking on the Thumbs up below is a great way to say thank you!

  • What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7?

What is the HP Digital Imaging Monitor? Apply to my operating system, Windows 7? I want to remove the icon from the task bar (toolbar in the lower right corner of the screen) that I never use it.

Picardjc wrote that "Digital imaging monitor is part of the HP software that communicates with your HP printer. This program allows to read the inklevels, get an out of paper message, scan from the device to the computer and so on. It is not necessary, but it will restrict the use of printers if you delete. "Understood. But for my printer HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809a, what is the purpose of having the digital imaging monitor icon in the taskbar Windows7 sp1 of the Notification area (aka system tray)? My A809a is NOT an all-in-one that includes a scanner; It is simply a very good printer. When I start to print something, if you need ink or paper, that information is displayed on the screen of my computer. So I ask again: why is the icon of monitor digital imaging on the taskbar? I clicked on at the time of this icon (I not print anything, but as usual, the printer is turned on), and nothing happened. R.N. (Roger) Folsom _ P.S. below I'll post some other discussions (with links to their locations) of the digital imaging monitor, I discovered before finding this site on which I am writing. There are a variety of opinions on what makes the digital imaging monitor. HP Digital Imaging Monitor is for HP director system tray access. This is necessary if you want to use the buttons of all-in-one on a HP printer all in one to scan documents or transfer photos from a camera manually. Closing the icon monitor HP digital imaging in the Windows system tray can cause the HP all-in-one to lose part of its scanning features and not the connection error message. In this case, you can restore all functionality by restarting the computer or by starting the HP digital imaging monitor. [Edited] 03/08/2011 14:05 - edited? 03/08/2011 14:08 Yes, it is safe to remove. In my view, it is usually in the program group under start / all programs / startup. Simply navigate under the Start button, right-click on it and delete! If it is not there, then remove it from the registry: run regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and delete it from the list in the right pane. If she is not there, then try hkey_current_user\\software\\microsoft\\windows\\currentversion\\run it's better than using msconfig and uncheck it. In my opinion, msconfig must always be set to Normal startup. Your printer will always print without that annoying obstructive utility called Digital Imaging Monitor. Ciao! • Satellite M100 - no speakers sound thorugh after BIOS update

    Hi all

I have satelite M100 PSMAAA-02006 with XP. I just updated the Bios on V3.0. Speakers do not work after update but the audio jack works so with headphones I can listen to but not through Laptop speakers and the keys to media on top of keyboard play, pause, stop, next, back, etc. homepage react too much.

Someone knows the solution to this issue. Or is it possible to get the old BIOS? Although I not sure aboutt previous version.

need quick help. Please answer as soon as possible.

    Thanks & best regards...

    Hi Julie,.

I doubt that this was due the update of the BIOS. Is that what you have loaded default settings after updating the BIOS?
Have you chosen the correct BIOS update?

Normally you can hear the sound on the speakers laptop if you disconnect the headset. Make sure that the sound is not muted, you can do this with the FN + ESC key combination.

About the multimedia keys, I would recommend reinstallation of Toshiba common Modules. You can find it on the Toshiba site.
