P7 - 1380t: Microsoft Office Starter 2010 - can "Reinstall".

I have downloaded and run the configuration file for the starter of a number of available sources. The operating system, said, "failed to load the files needed to install Microsoft Office Starter 2010. Check your internet connection and then try again." The popup that tells me to try recommended settings appears. It does not either. Help!

Hi there @Franklinthecat,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, HP experts and other support staff. I understand that you're having trouble to install Microsoft Office Starter 2010. I'm happy to help you with this.

A quick suggestion would be to disable your antivirus software for the duration of the installation, if you have already verified the file you have is clean from what source you downloaded from.

If you still get the same error when you try to install, I suggest you contact support Office - support.office.com.

Please let me know if it works for you and if it does not solve your problem, please mark this message as a solution. Bravo would be appreciated as well.

You must download, unzip the file, double-click it to run it.

I can't attach exe files because they are often confused with the files of virus, so you zip an exe to bypass that.

  • I lost my Microsoft Office Starter 2010, when I ran to the restoration of the system opened on my Acer A0 D257

I lost my Microsoft Office Starter 2010, when I ran to the open on my Acer Aspire One D257 system restore. (It works much better now).  I find the apps that have been removed, but can not find them anywhere. As well as the Office Starter 2010, I searched for the most in the list of funds that was provided after that what he's done, as Acer Crystal Eye Webcam Acer.  I thought Acer eRecovery Management, but does not download it because there doesn't seem to be a source of Acer. The only application that I reinstalled successfully is the wireless printer.

Should I concentrate on finding the Acer applications and they will help me find the Office Starter 2010?

    > If it's really gone, so do you think an eRecovery let me a (all) operating system, even if it is Win 10? >>>

If the hidden recovery is * really * gone, the eRecovery Alt + F10 procedure shown in the video does NOT work. Make sure you follow the video, including the schedule and the sequence of tapping the Alt and F10 keys. Another way to confirm that the hidden folder is 'really' disappeared, is to open the "Control Panel". Then do a search on the word "partition". Click on create or format partitions on hard drive. A box will appear saying if you have a partition or collection record.

  • HP G62t and Microsoft Office Starter 2010

My previous HP laptop (dv2854se) in brick after only 2 years. The NVIDIA graphics card has overheated and destroyed my laptop, which is a question well documented with this laptop, but unfortunately the laptop was no longer under warranty.

I just bought a new laptop HP G62t 250 that came with MS Office Starter. (I hope I do not regret this purchase of an another HP laptop). I would like to install the MS Office Professional 2007 software with my previous laptop HP, I bought two years ago. When I load the CD and enter the product key, the s/w brings me to go to the s/w already approved. I can't do that because my previous phone is completely dead.

Is there something I can do? I ask on the HP forum because I usually know a response rate fast here on the site of Ms. I'm already discouraged on the short life of my previous laptop, and I would prefer not to have to buy new MS Office Professional.

    Thank you.

When you use the upgrade of media, you must have a license for a previous version of Office key, then enter your key for the version upgrade, i.e. How does the upgrade, otherwise people would buy the reduced upgrade version and install it on the cheap.

    It requires 2 keys.

  • Can use GoDaddy certificate to sign into Microsoft Office Word 2010, but not in Adobe Acrobat XI 10.0.09

When I export our GoDaddy Exchange certificate in a *.pfx file I can import the pfx file to the Windows personal certificate store and use it in Microsoft Office Word 2010 to create a valid, a Digital Signature that can be verified by people outside of our Organization. I haven Version Adobe Acrobat Pro XI 11.0.09 I can't make this work. The creation of an ID of a file and using the same pfx file like I did in Office 2010 seems to work:

    AdobeSupportAdd-ID.PNG

but when I actually sign a document, I can not select this ID in the menu drop-down:

    AdobeSupportCertificateStore.PNG

Here's an example of how this certificate helps create the signature in Word 2010.

    AdobeSupportWordSignature.PNG

The certificate used has not "signing documents' classified 'area of use '. What is preventing the use of this certificate in Adobe Acrobat Pro?

A certificate has two [optional] extensions that direct how this certificate: use of the key and Extended Key use. Prior to version 11.0.9 Acrobat didn't treat these extensions correctly according to RFC 5280. Since version 11.0.9 Acrobat strictly follows the RFC 5280 restrictions on the use of certificates. MS Word does not have these restrictions.

Go to Edit-> preferences-> Signatures-> identities & Vertificates trust-> more... Select Digital IDs in the right pane, and then in the left pane of your certificate. Then click on 'Détails' and air (you may need to scroll), if it has an extension of the "key of prolonged use. If it click it and look at its value at the bottom of the left pane. If emailProtection or the value CodeSigning certificate is suitable for the signature in Acrobat. If she has none of these values, but has another value, like clientAuthentication, then it is not appropriate for the signature in Acrobat. The problem in the past was that Acrobat allowed users to sign with certificates that have been published for purposes other than the signature of the document. Version 11.0.9 tight this restriction.

  • Microsoft Office Starter take-out Device Manager

    Greetings, Ya'll!

I had a few problems with this computer & it's one of several questions.

My Microsoft Office Starter has stopped working, & the Microsoft forums say it is a matter of HP. Huh?

I went through the procedure to uninstall Office Starter, & now that I'm going to re - install, rather than see a window asking me to purchase the update, etc..  with the button 'use' for the starter, I literally have to open, which takes me to avantureux window where are listed in the Microsoft Office 2010 tools, & startup of Microsoft Excel. During the 'open' '2010' it extends to 4 topics with "Microsoft Office Starter To - Go Device Manager" being one of them. Others refer to the "media library", "Upload center", & "picture manager.

I am wary of this first 'Microsoft Office Starter To - Go Device Manager"because of the many other problems that I have with HP Support Assistant.

In order to reactivate "Office Starter" I am opening this 'Device Manager to take away"to reactivate"Office Starter? And if so,..., why the procedure from HP support does not include instructions of this 'law' in sound?

Deeply, I'd appreciate any help Knowledgable Tya you could give me.

    Hello:

I have used this method successfully reinstall Office Starter 2010.

I zipped and attached the file to download Office Starter (under attachments below), you can unzip and run.

You must be connected to the internet so that it works, that the contacts of the MS Office Starter 2010 download the server files.

He reloaded everything for me very well (and several other members of the forum also).

  • Portable Satellite C660 - 23 M - pre installed MS Office Starter 2010 problem

    Hello

Does anyone know how or if there is a way to reinstall MS Office Starter 2010 on my Toshiba laptop? I bought this in 2012 and it came with this preinstalled but I uninstalled it that following the advice of Ms when it is impossible to open WORD yesterday. Online instructions to "fix" this problem have been uninstalling and reinstalling, but this isn't the case! I contacted MS who told me to contact Toshiba, but said that once uninstalled as it was preinstalled when you buy, so it cannot be reinstalled. If someone else has had this same problem and, if so, is - that someone managed to recover the software?

    Hello

I don't know if I did this correctly so just going to send a response to say that I did not have answers to my question. It may be that no one else has had this problem or that there is no solution other than buying new software that I can really do without.

  • Microsoft Office Professional 2010

Microsoft Office Professional 2010 is corrupt. When I chose the icon nothing happens and all other commands and programs frozen.  I tried 'repair' Microsoft Office Professional 2010 with the feature programs and features in Control Panel, but it does not work.

I guess I need to reinstall but Microsoft Office 2010 professional don't know how to do that.  Can someone help me?

    Thank you

If you are going to try to get the key, you do not want to delete the version existing - at least not until you have extracted key information.

If you just install the download, in other words, you have your license key, I think that the installation of the download will guide you.

Most installation packages have the ability to detect existing software; Once the software is detected, the current program will be either deleted, ignored, or, where appropriate, will remind you to remove the existing program before proceeding with the new installation.

  • Is it possible to restore Office Starter 2010?

    Hey there!

I'm having a problem. Well, no problem, but a gene

I recently bought a HP Dv6. It came with various pre-installed software, Office Starter 2010 has been one of them.

I had to recover my computer through HP System Recovery due to problems. With success, I was able to restore most of the preloaded software. But I was unable to restore 2.

Both programs have been pre-installed HP WildTanget games and Starter 2010

I ignored WildTangnet, because of how awful it is and how he tears people.

However, when I saw the Manager of recovery of re - install programs that didn't were not resettled initially, for example my trial of Norton Internet Security (Side Note: apparently, the trial resets if you restore your computer via HP), but I could not just find Office Starter 2010

    Somehow I can restore?

Thanks in advance for your time!

    -Ahmad

Also, can someone remind me what files have been included in the first installation other than the folder? (Libraries, Documents, etc.).

Your need to buy MS Office 2010. It will not re - install the starter pack.
