Pages ' 09 4.3 - "#", hyperlinks do not work?

Hello

From time to time, I have to use hyperlinks with ' # ' in the URL.

These links do not work when they get clicked. What can I do?

Thank you very much.

Some characters are reserved by forming a uniform resource identifier (URI), which is a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) or Uniform Resource Name (URN). The character "#" is a character defined in URL encoding specifications, and it must be replaced by his counterpart from percent encoding in the URL string. That the string replacement, also set out in the link is 23%.

When the linker Pages encounters an invalid character, it does not account for the URL entered and the Apple default URL is used. There is no dialog box error informing you of the necessity of percent encoding in your URL string.

    I guess you mean the links contained in this paragraph and not the quick links at the bottom of page.

  • hyperlinks do not work in swf

    Why my hyperlinks do not work when I produce a swf doc?

    It s not very good idea to InDesign SWF with e-mail. Especially if you have videos or audio used in your document. InDesign incorporates not these assets to the SWF format. Instead of him, it creates a folder named resources and place all the media files it. You suppose to publish this folder along with your SWF file.

    If you want to deliver your SWF with the e-mail, you must provide this file resources such as attachment and it s not good idea. It can be relatively large and West no evidence that receiver will save all the accessories necessary before opening the SWF. And the hyperlinks do not work if you open SWF on your local hard drive. It must be registered in the server... West and that s Flash Player security setting not a lot we can do about it...

    You must transfer all the necessary files to a public server and provide a link to your files. You can do it with the FTP client software. There are many free FTP clients on the internet.

  • I create in InDesign CS3 hyperlinks do not work in the PDF file

    I created several hyperlinks in an InDesign CS3 file, using the hyperlinks Panel. But when I export to PDF, hyperlinks do not work. Even those who start by http:// or www. do not work. Is it just like that? Or I do something wrong?

    Thank you

  • Hyperlinks do not work outside of dreamweaver

    Hello

    I am relatively new to web design. After designing some simple websites for me, that I could put on my wallet I decided to design another website. Everything was fine, until I came across a weird problem: in the banner, the hyperlinks don't work. Hypertext links in the menu, but also in other parts of the page work perfectly well. Except the banner, I could put some text hyperlink, but it only just to add the features of it such as the color blue and underlined. But... it won't work how it is supposed to be.

    If I copy/cut the item out of the banner, it will not work without a flaw.

    I also want to add that I use z-index of-1 to turn the logo that exceeds both in the menu and banner.

    HTML:

    Even faster delivery!

    With our recently purchased next generation trucks, your load gets to you faster than ever! Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, 195kgs adipisicing elit. Proin nibh augue, so one...

    Negative Z - index is not wise and you will get into trouble because some browsers interpret that it is below the plane of the page. In addition, it works on elements in position. Static elements do not have a z-index (anything that is not positioned).

  • Hyperlinks do not work in the form of PDF

    We use Acrobat 10 Pro / LiveCycle Designer to create our form fill-able to then publish on our Web site.  Our users can click the form on our Web page, the PDF opens in Chrome very well and they can fill in the fields.  But when a user tries to click hyperlinks, the hand does not turn into finger, which allows you to click on the link and go to the Web page.  When you look at the properties of this PDF file, I can see there are restrictions.  I just want to allow my customers to click on hypertext links.  Don't forget, they use Chrome Chrome PDF Viewer by default.  In addition, many of our internal users do not use Adobe to view/edit a PDF file.  Their PDF Viewer by default if eCopy or PowerPDF, so when they open the form in these applications, the hyperlinks don't work or the other.  Hyperlinks work only if I open with Adobe.

    Also, I saw a security restriction in the properties of the document where is said can only be opened with Acrobat.

    Is there any way to change this?

    We say to all our customers that official Adobe products are required to view and use the forms correctly. We cannot guarantee that applications work as expected otherwise. We had a LOT of problems with clients (or trying to open) opening forms outside of Adobe, and they will never work quite right. Mind you, we almost exclusively use dynamic forms.

  • Hyperlink does not work when converting to PDF

    I have InDesign CS3 (v. 5.0.4) installed on a Dell Latitude E6520 with Win 7 Pro SP 1, 64-bit, processor i5 and 8 GB of RAM.

    I use InDesign to create a newsletter, and normally I have no problem when I insert a hyperlink in the InDesign document and then export the InDesign document to PDF.  Normally, the links in the PDF file.

    However, I encountered a problem with this link:

    http://AppFT.USPTO.gov/netacgi/NPH-parser?Sect1=PtO2 & Sect2 = HITOFF & u = % 2Fnetahtml % 2FPTO % 2Fse arch - adv.html & r = 14 & p = 1 & f = G & l = 50 & d = PG01 & S1=%2820130321.PD.+AND+Google.AS.%29%mtsegdgt & OS = PD 20130321 + AND + YEAR / Google & RS=%28PD/20130321+AND+AN/Google

    It does not work in the PDF, I use the new hyperlink Destination/New hyperlink function, or simply use the URL.  I get the same error if I open the document in Acrobat 8 Pro or reader XI:

    Error #2406

    Error: Process ended abnormally. Document may be truncated.

    If I use the Go To Destination function in InDesign, the links work.

    Can someone tell me what to do to make this link work in the PDF?

    This link is supposed to go in one fell swoop? When I copy into my browser address field, it takes me to the patent office and pours me on page 14 of 217 from a search query. Maybe that's the problem?

  • Scan with preview - several Pages of a PDF THAT does not work in Mac OS Sierra

    Hello everyone,

    I had upgraded my Macbook Pro (early 2011) to Mac OS Sierra. A famous feature of older versions of Mac OS is to use Preview to scan documents to PDF format, joined the pages scanned all of a single document.

    After upgrading to Sierra this feature does not work correctly. The pages are not more combined into a single PDF. Anyone who has observed the same problem?

    Best regards from the Germany

    Yes, it's been posted here several times.

  • APEX 5 modal page: CSS for the layout does not work

    Hi experts,

    I have problem with CSS tag in the pages of the dialog box modal.

    If I use a few CSS changes for APEX DA label (for personal reasons), it works for a normal page.

    Example:

    standard page: label #P2_X_STATUS_LABEL {make-weight: 700}-works

    modal page: label #P3_X_STATUS_LABEL {make-weight: 700}-does not work

    I tried to change the style of firebug (color, background,...) for each element on a page modal. It does not work. Also with! important attribute. I checked the 'Get matching items' jQuery selector and it shows me the correct items.

    How is that possible?

    I upgraded from 4.2 and I need this feature (base), to the works. (for modal too)

  • Add the page button in PDF format does not work on the mobile device

    I created a button in my form that generates a new page. This new page has been defined as a model (Named 'New Page') and hidden (page 2). My button is on page 1 and uses a command script to execute a JavaScript script (on the mouse down) what follows is this script:

    var a = this.getTemplate ('new Page');

    a.Spawn ();

    Now, it works fine on my desktop. However, my problem is, I sent this form to myself, so I could fill it out on my phone. All of the s form other functions working perfectly, except the button to generate a page does not work. I am currently using an Android and view the PDF file on the application Acrobat from Adobe.

    Thank you

    Kyle

    I'm not aware of any mobile-based PDF Viewer that supports this method. Mobile versions of Adobe Reader supports a very limited subset of what support versions of office.

  • My hyperlinks do not work online. Help!

    Hi guys,.

    So basically I put my links in my menu bar in the area of property as usual and they work very well in the local host of the mode live view. I downloaded all the files of my site on my remote server which has been a success. When I hit the my domain name in any internet browser my index page just exactly how I want except that the links in the menu do not work when they are clicked. The only thing that happens is a "#" at the end of the domain name. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

  • Hyperlinks do not work in embedded contentviewer

    Hello together,

    does anyone know why the hyperlinks in embedded contentviewer do not work?

    Is there a workaround. How do build you a link in InDesign?

    Need help. Thank you very much.

    Sascha

    There is a problem with external hyperlinks in a web viewer integrated into v27 (navto of links in a folio work very well). This problem should be solved in v28, who is set to release in mid-September. Here is a workaround:

    In the event handler that you use to listen for events from the support library, you can change your event, function as follows:

    function eventCallback (message) {}

    Console.log (message);

    If (message.eventType = 'navigateToURL') {}

    Window.assign (message. (URL);

    Returns false;

    }

    Returns true;

    }

    In addition, you should know that try using window.open or similar constructions currently will not work to open links in a new window. It will be blocked by a Blocker for popups.

  • Hyperlink does not work in the Adobe Viewer, why?

    Hello world! I create an interactive newsletter in Indesign CS6 for the iPad and iPhone. I have a 3D model I want to demonstrate, but that's the problem. I have a link to the Viewer IPM (the 3D model is there), but when I use this URL does not work. The address begins with: ipm: / /.

    When I press the link in the Adobe viewer it shows: a error 101 Also just to inform that I have on my ipad and iphone viewer IPM.

    I really want to have this link to work. Please help me out! Is there another way to show a 3D model in Indesign?

    Thank you

    VV

    PS Plus early I tried to use the 360 view full of images, but finally the saddest is that it works ONLY horizontally! And that made me very disappointed honestly say.

    Hyperlinks open in the in-app browser, which will not work. Try to create a button, not a hyperlink. In the overlays Panel, set the button to view it in an external browser. See if it works.
