pairing code brookstone flexible

I can't get my Flexible Brookstone keyboard to pair with my PC. Does anyone know the pariing code?

Hello

Some wireless devices come with their own pairing code (sometimes called PIN or password). You may be asked to enter this code when pair you the device with your computer. Windows tries to select the best pairing method for your device and give you instructions that often include a pairing code. However, some wireless devices have their own code, you will need to find matching.

Follow the method below to connect to the wireless keyboard:

If a password or pairing code is listed in the documentation for your device, use this one. If not, and if you have Bluetooth wireless technology installed on your computer, the Add Bluetooth device Wizard can automatically generate one for you or you can create one yourself.

2 on the Tools menu, select the Bluetooth menu and press OK on the possibility of "pair with hands-free."

    3. the handset will start searching for the Bluetooth device. Once found, it will fill in the list of devices. Press OK on the keypad to associate the device.

    4. once the device PIN / access code has been entered (as applicable), the pairing process will be completed. Leave the menu screens and you will be able to start using your Bluetooth device.

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

Pairing code is another term for a number that associates your computer with a Bluetooth compatible device. The security key terms and pairing code are often used interchangeably.

Using authentication keys compatible Bluetooth devices

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/using-passkeys-for-Bluetooth-enabled-devices

First, I would say that you are using the pairing supplied with the product code and check if it works.

If the previous step fails then remove and then reinstall the device

    (a) click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and soundand then click Bluetooth devices.

    (b) select the device that is not working, and then click Remove.

    (c) click Add, press the reset button on the unit (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), check the box my device is set up and ready to be found and then click Next.

    (d) if the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.

    (e) follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

Make sure that the Bluetooth adapter for your computer is attached and turned on, and that the device is in use and detectable. If you don't know how to turn on discoverability, read the instructions provided with the device or check the manufacturer's Web site.

  • I can not enter the pairing code (0000) of my headset bluetooth in windows 7

I'm trying to connect a headset bluetooth with windows 7.  However, Windows 7 gives me a 6 digit code for pairing while the headset of pre-assigned pairing code is 0000. I tried to contact the manufacturer (in China) but without success. I also tried the Microsoft online help, but it does not show me how to enter the code for pairing manually. Here's what he said

"Some wireless devices come with their own pairing code (sometimes called PIN or password). You may be asked to enter this code when pair you the device with your computer. Windows tries to select the best pairing method for your device and give you instructions that often include a pairing code. However, some wireless devices have their own code, you will need to find matching.

Even if you know the pairing code, it can be difficult to get the code into a device. Some wireless devices. Others, such as Bluetooth headset, have not a keyboard or a screen.

Here are some tips on how to find the code for pairing for a wireless device:

    • See the documentation provided with your device. The pairing code might be that are listed or printed on the device itself (often on the bottom). All wireless devices come with a pairing code.

    • If Windows encounters problems during the pairing process, it might give you the ability to create your own pairing code. If you choose this option, you don't need to use the code provided with the device.

    • If you have entered the code for the device, but Windows does not detect that you don't have, you may need to enter the code by pressing a key on the device labeled 'Enter', 'OK', 'Return', or something similar. For some devices, such as mobile phones, you may need to select a menu option to enter the code. If you can't find a button, button or menu option, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

    • Make sure that you type the pairing code quickly enough. Usually, you only have 30 seconds before that the device or the computer stops its attempts to pair. The exact duration depends on the device.

    • Make sure that the device can display a pairing code. Some devices, such as headsets, might communicate readers Windows that they can display a pairing code, even if there is no place to display it. If this is the case, and Windows ask you to verify a pairing on the device code, try pairing with the device again. Windows should allow you to choose a different pairing option the next time you attempt to pair. If you are unsure which option to choose, see the documentation that came with your device, or visit the manufacturer's website.

    • If you're within range of other wireless devices, you might be unintentionally pairing with someone else device (for example, someone is close with the same model of mobile phone). Make sure that you are matching with the appropriate device.

    • If you are in a public place, there could be multiple devices with the same name in range of your computer. If you see multiple devices with the same name in the add a device Wizard, you can rename some of the devices in the list to distinguish them. To rename a device, right-click, and then click Properties. On the tab General, type a new name, and then click OK.

    • Windows may ask you to verify that the same code appears on your device and your computer. If these codes do not match, or if no code is displayed, you might unintentionally pairing with someone of another device. In this case, Windows may display an incorrect pairing code or no pairing code at all. Make sure that you are matching with the appropriate device.

  • You may need to place some wireless devices in a special pairing mode that allows computers or other devices to connect to them. Most Bluetooth compatible devices enter this mode when they are madediscoverable. Other wireless devices could it must be in pairing mode and is detectable. For more information, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site. »

  • Bluetooth device paired without code OK - BUT when you want to use it, I'm wondering for a pairing code

I have a Bluetooth device that cannot get a pairing code. I carefully checked the three options of bluetooth connection and the 3rd works, i.e. one that allows the pair without using code.

So I pair without code - and Windows 7 allows me to do.
BUT when I run the program that connects to the device, I get a pop up Bluetooth asking me a code!
It is completely buggy and, moreover, I am not allowed to take control - I know exactly what device I want to use, I see in Bluetooth devices, but for "reasons of security MS" I'm not allowed to use it!

  • Number of Bluetooth pairing code problems

When my attempts to laptop to pair with my cell phone it sends 6 phone numbers, but the numbers on my phone have a space in the middle to show two lots of three numbers... it is not accepted and matching fails... ideas?

    Thank you

    Paul.

A update here... I persevered and succeeded now... I really have no idea why he finally accepted the code, I do not think I did something different... the mobile phone sent a code to six figures composed of two lots of three digits, the laptop displays the code as a continuous six-digit and apparently accepted... He gave no indication that he had accepted the code , but I was able to transfer files... previously, he had said that the code (with a space) is not acceptable!

Thank you for you help anyway.

    Paul.

Where can I find the pairing on printer HP PSC 1610xi UBS code?

This is sometimes called the PIN code

    Thank you

    LARR

Thanks for getting back to me on my question

I tried to connect my printer HP PSC 1610xi router USB Wireless Linksys 3200 newly purchased.

This router has a USB port which said, could be put in place so that you can print on your printer with any computer on the network.

At some point in the setup, I asked for the pairing code printers. That's where I stopped and tried to find the pairing code.

I kept trying to make it work for me without the pairing code and found that I had missed a step in the installation and which was to install the Linksys software on the second computer. When I did the second computer can then print through the network. So I need is no longer the pairing code.

Thanks for your effort. I appreciate it,

    Larry

  • Satellite C850 - 1 4 - Win 8.1 don't pair with Android Tablet

    Hi people,

I tried to pair my notebook without success (my first try with BT).
The notebook detects the PC and the password dialog box is displayed on the pc. I confirm and the Tablet indicates it is coupled.

It's like he goes. There is no indication on the pc the device is recognized so unable to connect. I miss something or something wrong? I want to get this working.

I downloaded the new BT stack has a couple of weeks before you try to pair.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

There is no indication on the pc the device is recognized so unable to connect.
First of all, you should check if the BT is enabled on the laptop properly.

In Windows 8, you can activate the BT in:
    1. press on the Windows key + C,.
    2. Select the charm of settings and then click Change PC settings
    3. Select wireless.
    4. you can now change the settings to enable or disable Bluetooth or wireless.

If BT is activated correctly, you should be able to add the BT device.
In laptop-> device settings , click on Add a device.
Now a box should appear showing you the BT device which should be connected.
The left click on the device and shortly after the box with the pairing code (the same should be visible on your tablet) should appear.
Then click Yes to confirm and finish peeling.

    That's all.
