  I don't belive that O2 SIMs doesn't lock it so in you phone app, press the O2 on the very top-left and select Preferences.  Scroll down to the use of data and put it out of service.  Close the card Ant that should do.   This option varies since some SIM cards will be blocking the ability to touch the data settings.

  Duly note that disableing data mean you Pixi can no longer save itself round so this back on successive or use wifi when can at least.

• Palm Pixi touchscreen has stopped working.

  Here's what to do. It worked for me. Hold the Palm Pixi more the phone near a picture tube tv (not LCD, but the old tube tv), then turn the TV off. Repeat this couple times. Then try the pixi more screen. If you don't have a tube tv (like me), don't worry. I had a thin cover giving me static all the time. I rubbed covering the couple bed of time (so that it is State) and then hit the pixi screen. Repeated twice and it worked.

  If it doesn't, he has nothing to lose. But if it works then good for you. It was not my idea, but I found it on the internet.

  The hole at the top of the Pre is where you connect a generic headset if you want to listen to music.  If you connect the headset I linked, you can listen to music and use the microphone for hands free calls online.  (Voice is picked up by the microphone online and the Atria emits the voice).

• Palm Pre Sprint Navigation problem

  I did have a problem with my function of Navigation of Sprint on my pre so far.  Usually, when I open the app it was asking me if it was OK to use my position to help in directions (location, etc.).  In recent weeks, he asked that more.  When I put the address where I'm trying to go, the GPS said they can't find my current position and I need to make sure that I am in heaven.  I'm usually in the light of the sky but move and try again, but it still does the same thing.  Does anyone else have this problem?  All the patches?  Thank you!

  My first suggestion would be to open the application location Services and ensure that this automatic location feature and use GPS are on.

• No Audio, video or ringtone - Sprint Palm Pixi

  We had our Pixi since June with no problems.  Suddenly this morning ringtone no longer works and the ringer switch is turned on.  When you examine the ringing options, previews play with no sound.  Stored .mp3 files don't produce audio.  When you go to YouTube there is no audio or video, but the marker of time ahead by showing that the video plays.  Preloaded videos won't play at all, giving back an error message.

  I tried a soft reset without effect.  Nothing has changed between last night and today that should affect the phone and the phone never had a wired headset.

  What else can we try?  Thank you!

  I recently had the same problem with audio and video, as well as my camera wouldn't take photos.  It all started after downloading the new version 1.4.5.  I had to download WebOs Doctor on the computer and follow the instructions to reload the update on my Pixi.  It fixed all the problems and is now at 100 percent operation.  Let me know if it solves your problem.

  also, make sure that you run the backup feature before you run webos doctor.

  I have the worst time trying to figure out how to change ringtone Facebook and Email alerts, it does not give me a choice on how to change it? Any suggestions?

  Hello!

  To open the email app tap on email at the top left, select Preferences, then press e-mail account in the e-mail accounts.  Locate the new message box it and change the alert option it ringing system.  Then, you can select a sound to you list of ringtone.

  For facebook, currently the facebook app does not support the means to make a sound when come updates.  If you talk about the contacts, then in the contacts app opens the contact and click on modify to get the option to set a ringtone for her.

• Pixi sleep problem

  We are testing on the Pixi and I noticed a problem of sleep with the device.  Intermittently, when the screen goes to sleep and you press power once button to activate back on nothing happens.  Then if you press and hold the power button on the unit complete again.  The screen does not return until the phone is rebooted.  We have already replaced the unit once on this issue and happens with the second device.

  Any ideas on how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

  Go to the Sprint store and let them know that you need to put in a spacer.  While you're there, I recommend you have them test the battery to make sure it's working properly.

  I have a Pixi with Verizon. I tried to buy ringtones using the Verizon Internet site even as I always did. But after that I bought a the message met the rington was abolished and that my phone does not support happy purchaseing copyrighted. All other Verizon phones, I have had my own ringtones. I'm really starting not to like this phone.

  I'm really sorry to hear about your problem. You should not have problems to download ringtones from Verizon, but if you are, I recommend contacting Verizon. The reason why I say that is because they manage the site in which you download from. They may be able to shed more light on why you have this problem with the Pixi.

  HOWEVER, I have a really, really, really tip I would share with you.

  Create a new ringtone

  To create new ringtones, you must first move audio files in a format supported (MP3, AAC, AAC +, AMR, QCELP and WAV) from your computer to your phone. All MP3 files you already have on your phone (for example, files downloaded from Amazon MP3) can be used as ringtones, as long as the files are in the folder ringtones on your phone. To find the ringtones folder, open the Launcher, tap sounds, ringtones.

  Move audio files to your phone by doing one of the following:

  • With your phone in USB Drive mode, add audio files to the folder ringtone on your phone.

• Pool sprinter problem windows 7 SP I.

However the only driver approaching is drivers Vista is what suggests the Dell. I tried these, I tried several things and it does not work and now I don't know, but my 'print spooler' continues to stop after my sp1 for windows 7. I tried to start it and it keep just stop so I can't get my HP printer to work eiither.

  After that I did a ping of a station on the LAN to the remote pc, I ping the remote computer to the local network.

  I am so newb, trying for 2 days changing ACLs, no way.

  I must say that I am in dynamic ip wan on the local network and the remote pc.

  Any idea about this problem?

• VPN clients cannot access remote sites - PIX, routing problem?

  I have a problem with routing to remote from our company websites when users connect via their VPN client remotely (i.e. for home workers)

  Our headquarters contains a PIX 515E firewall. A number of remote sites to connect (via ADSL) to head office using IPSEC tunnels, ending the PIX.

  Behind the PIX is a router 7206 with connections to the seat of LANs and connections to a number of ISDN connected remote sites. The default route on 7206 points to the PIX from traffic firewall which sits to ADSL connected remote sites through the PIX. Internal traffic for LAN and ISDN connected sites is done via the 7206.

  Very good and works very well.

  When a user connects remotely using their VPN client (connection is interrupted on the PIX) so that they get an IP address from the pool configured on the PIX and they can access resources located on local networks to the office with no problems.

  However, the problem arises when a remote user wants access to a server located in one of the remote sites ADSL connected - it is impossible to access all these sites.

  On the remote site routers, I configured the access lists to allow access from the pool of IP addresses used by the PIX. But it made no difference. I think that the problem may be the routes configured on the PIX itself, but I don't know what is necessary to solve this problem.

  Does anyone have suggestions on what needs to be done to allow access to remote sites for users connected remotely via VPN?

  (Note: I suggested a workaround, users can use a server on LAN headquarters as a "jump point" to connect to remote servers from there)

  with pix v6, no traffic is allowed to redirect to the same interface.

  for example, a remote user initiates an rdp session for one of the barns adsl. PIX decrypts the packet coming from the external interface and looks at the destination. because the destination is one of adsl sites, pix will have to return traffic to the external interface. Unfortunately, pix v6.x has a limitation that would force the pix to drop the packet.

  with the v7, this restriction has been removed with the "same-security-traffic control intra-interface permits".

• Site to Site PIX VPN problems

  Hi, I currently have a site to site vpn upward and running and it works fine. I try to put the other two online and just cannot make them work. I used the same configuration of one operation but I cannot get the next tunnel. I saw several errors when debugging isakmp and ipsec and they are at the end of my configs. Anyone have any ideas?   I think that you have configured a VPN tunnel without removing the cryptographic card of the external interface. The message above is the error we get in such situation.

  I suggest the following solution:

  -remove the external interface (the two pix) cryptographic card

  -Reapply the card encryption on external interfaces.

  If this doesn't solve the problem, restart the equipment.
