Palm Treo 750 WM6 - problem remove Bluetooth partnership.

Palm 750 WM6, Telstra Australia; I'm having a problem deleting my Treo Bluetooth partnerships.

When I go through the sequence to REMOVE partnerships in accordance with the instructions in the Treo that is

(1) press start > settings

(2) select the Connections tab

(3), select Bluetooth, and then select the devices tab

(4) select the partnership you want to end

(5), select Remove.

I got the Treo in partnership with Blueant Z9 Bluetooth headset, however, after a month, the Z9 battery was defective and he died, the Z9 was replaced under warranty.

I matched the Z9 with the Treo replacement, now I have two instances of the Z9 in the list but you can't delete one or the other, also have GPS in the list and which cannot delete either.

I'm not sure but the Z9 is not working as it should, maybe because there are 2 two instances in the Treo.

I want to remove all Bluetooth partnerships and to start again, but after I finished the sequence (4), the screen goes to the next screen titled "Partnership settings" and there is no DELETION to select.

I removed and replaced the battery and pressed the "Reset" button inside the compartment for the memory card, but nothing allows me to remove two instances of the Z9.

Not sure where to go from here any help appreciated.

Bill

Thanks for the reply, it was the "Tap and Hold" on the device, I've been away, sometimes I do not see the forest for them * beep * trees

I guess that Palm could be a little clearer on it in the instructions on deleting a partnership, however your advice worked like a charm.

Bill.

    Hello

This may sound really stupid, but my problem is that my 2 GB mini SD card does not yet completely in the devide (Palm Treo 750) expansion slot. I took it to the Rogers store and they tried to put it in and failed. Then we tried to put this card in a Palm Treo 750 from their store, and it did not fit this device as well. If something seems to be a problem with the card, but it seems perfectly well mini SD card - the same size and shape, etc..

Someone had this problem? Any idea what's going on?

    Thank you

    JP

    Thank you.

I just got tired of looking for what is wrong and just pressed it lasts in the slot and he went.

But now, the device does not recognize the card.

But anyway, I'll probably order a 1 GB and see if it works.

    Thanks again.

  • Palm Treo 750 synchronizes an hour earlier

When an appointment is entered in Outlook (whether on the computer or the phone) and then synchronized, it shows from the beginning this nomination as an hour on the phone. For example: access to a meeting of 06:00 in Outlook. Synchronize the phone. It now shows the meeting at 6:00 on the computer but 05:00 on the phone.

Any suggestions as to what to try? Seems we had this problem last year and don't know what we did to fix it.

Phone is a Treo 750 and computer running XP if all what matters.

Make sure that your Treo is updated with the patch of time daylight savings.

  • Palm Treo 750 re-boot issues

I'm having a problem with my 750. I had removed my battery to replace my SIM card and when I replaced the battery in the camera, the phone wouldn't start. It is like it froze while trying to start, the emblem of Palm is on the screen and the loading bar clings. Can someone help me with this problem? Thank you.

Have you tried to removed the battery and reinsert it? Also, try to remove the SIM card and see if the unit will then start. Otherwise, the next step would be a hard reset.

Hello, I have a unlocked Treo 750 with WM5 and as toupgrade to WM6.

Unfortunately the Palm offer has expired. Who can help me get the upgrade?

    Many thanks in advance, Robert

Again under your post, you have this: Treo 750 (Cingular)

This means that it is the brand on the AT & T network. But it could also be a device unlocked on AT & T network.

I contact AT & T and make sure if this update can be applied.

  • Displacement of T3 for Treo 750 - Will I have a problem?

I have a T3 - will have a TREO 750 (Comes w/windows 6) in the next few days - I'm Windows XP - I will NOT use Outlook (what I do) - I like the way contacts are located in my T3 - AND - I don't have a data plan, to start by just using the phone to phone purposes - BUT the upgrade is to have my calendar , contacts, games, etc and this all in one place for a change WITH one phone.

I'll be able to transfer my T3 - Contacts, notes, calendar info (ESPECIALLY games!) etc. on my TREO easily - is there a manual or a place online I can find who will tell me - or it will do it automatically when I install and 1 hot syncing?  I guess I STILL need to install the software and desktop for Treo because it uses Activesync? and create a NEW profile, BUT after that what is the procedure?  Anything else I should know?

The T3 Palm OS and Windows Mobile 750 do not use the same OS, so can not use each and other programs.  Sorry, but your games will not work.

(Yes, there is a program called "StyleTap" which can run some programs on WinMob PalmOS, but I think that nothing can be synchronized).

The 750 don't use Outlook, no Palm Desktop for PIM data.  If you synchronize the T3 to Outlook, or buy a software to copy Palm Desktop data into Outlook, then you won't be synchronize your PIM data to the 750...

  • Palm Treo 680 (T-Mobile) can be used with a Mercedes Benz GL-Class SUV with their Bluetooth connections?

    Hello.

An old Palm Treo 680 (T-Mobile) can be used with a Mercedes Benz GL-Class SUV with their Bluetooth connections? http://www.Mercedes-Benz-mobile.com/ poster not only any how Palm Smartphones.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello!

Car kits Mercedes Benz uses are not on our list of compatible for the Treo 680.  You can go here for the list of products compatible bluetooth:

    http://KB.Palm.com/SRVS/cgi-bin/WEBCGI.exe/, /? St = 4236, E = 0000000000323018945, K = 1759, Sxi = 15, case = obj (41198) #headsets

This could be because we did not try the phone on their cars or is not compatible.  What I would say, it's actually go to a Mercedes Benz dealer and try your phone on this SUV to see how it fairs.  These kits change annually, so it might work won't hurt there try before you buy

  • Problem with syncing Treo 750

I just had an AT & T Treo 750 and try to configure to sync with my disktop computer running Windows XP Pro SP3.

First of all, I'm not an Outlook user, but figured out that I had to install this software to use ActiveSync. Secondly, I do not plan on using my 750 for email and am only interested to synchronize my Contacts, calendar and tasks. It appeared that I had to put in place the 750 for email to get started with ActiveSync, so I did, too many thngs. Now, when I try to sync I get this message from MS:

Cannot synchronize with the Outlook profile that you are using, because a different profile was previously set up or the profile is protected by password. Please open Outlook using the appropriate profile. Load the Code: 8503001f

What should I do to get the 750 and my computer to synchronize?

Second question: is there another software sync I can use other than Outlook?

    Thanks - John

Yes, sorry I have you provided a link to the version 4.1.4e. But that works perfectly with the numbers. The E stands for the scope and the most recent device have more fields to use this version of Palm Desktop has them. As long as you do not use the extended fields, then you should be fine.

  • Problems with phone Palm Treo 680

    I have a Palm Treo 680.

I receive and make calls, it connects, but the audio does not work: I can't hear or speak.

When I plug in the headphones, I am able to hear, but not speak.

It seems that something related to Audio, since when I tried to play a piece with Pocket Tunes, I could listen for a minute, make a short call (and speak!) and then it worked again.

Tried everything up to the hard reset.

    Thanks for help.

  • Problem of "USB device not recognized... "with syncing Treo 750

"USB device not recognized - one of a mulfunctioned USB devices" - this sign always appears when I sync my Treo 750. After a few attempts WM Device Center finally can 'see' Treo and this sign disappears. What I supposed to do? Find a driver for Treo or what? Could someone help me please?

In your 750, go to start > programs > USB to PC. There, you will see a check box. If it is not checked, check it, if it is checked, uncheck it. After that try to sync your device to your PC and let me know what happens.

  • Is it really possible to move from a Treo 650 to a Treo 750?

I'm not a very happy customer right now, but any help would be greatly appreciated. I upgraded from my old Palm Tungsten to a Zire and then to a Cingular Treo 650, combining three devices in one. I have since discovered that the Treo 650 seems to have a defective transmission mode, as I rarely can be clearly understood by whom it is I give the floor. Am at the second (or third, I've lost track) and continue to have the same problem. I get five bars of reception, but cannot be understood at the other end. A little problem when trying to call 911. I am constantly told I'm "breaking." The repair shop said that it "cannot reproduce the problem. OK, so I don't want to give up all the info I stored in the crazy thing, and the 750 seems to have a different system, so I thought I would try it. All the stuff I could find seem to indicate that it would not be a problem to upgrade. When the 750 arrived, I tried to install the software from the CD on my Windows XP computer. No dice. The Setup program encounters an error and closes. Can not even look at the files, because the Installer tries to run at any time access to the Conference on disarmament. Of any player.  Given my girlfiend to check on his computer, and the CD seems to work very well. Other CD works fine on my computer. Must be some sort of conflict, but what? Tried calling AT & T number that suggested that they could help with the installation and was first connected to the business center, they me routed to the center of the laptop, which I routed to the center of the network, who said that they would have to bring in the Palm customer service and connected me to a Mac guy who poured me a menu that took me to someone for whom English is a second language with which I tried to communicate via a very poor satellite connection. They didn't make any sense anyway. by saying first that I couldn't have two desktops running (badly, that my girlfriend has my old Zire and the CD worked fine) and then insisting on the fact that the serial number of my camera had start with a P, when clearly there is no any alpha characters in there. Without this way of help. Managed to get the new ActiveSync installed from my friends on the network computer. Large. Now let's get my 650 sync with Outlook (which I've not used at home) and see if we can move. Nope. First of all, I have to update Outlook 2000, the old Win98 to my current XP. Find the old CD and puts away. OK, now synchronize with Outlook. Nope. The synchronization program gives an error, saying: it will only be able to be synchronized with Outlook 98, 2000 and XP (2002). Good grief. I have Outlook 2000, and the software does apparently not. If the Palm does not work, there is no reason for me to keep this phone and I'm very close to return and abandoning the Palm completely when I switch to something that works, even if I'm afraid to enter all this information.

Thanks for the comments. Today, I installed Office 2007 Enterprise version I bought earlier, but had not yet installed. Microsoft has presented some difficulties, but they have been quickly resolved. I then downloaded the proper conduct of Palm and synchronized the 650 with the handheld crushing the computer. Then used Destop Active to synchronize the 750. Convinced that I had moved as much information as possible, I called AT & T and move the phone number to the new Treo.

Bonus! When the guy at AT & T called me on the new phone to check it out, he said that it sounded better my phone fixed.

Sorry for continuous paragraph. When it is late, I tend to write like I think.
