  I have a Palm Treo Pro 850 running WM 6.1 has been used for several years now and love it. It has recently crashed and I had to do a full memory cleaning.   So I found a palm treo 300 in a thrift store and bought for like $ 7. After popping open the case and hanging on to an old charger electric razor, got to work. I installed the synchronization program on my computer, put everything in place and works. I just realized something. I have absolutely no use for this device. Is this what can I do with it? Can I install games or something? If I could do something, like tetris, or anything else, it would be a pure gift for my nephew. Or should I throw this in a shoebox for another 10 years?

  I recently bought am and portable 300U unable to hotsync over Bluetooth with my Treo 650.
  I can transfer files between them with Bluetooth but I can't get them to Hotsync otherwise than by serial USB cable.
  I checked the 'How To' Toshiba which were for generic Tosh PC and PDA Palm T3 especially regarding the com port and transfer speed 7 but without result.

  When the hotsync/communication process starts the phone tells me to add my phone to the list of secure... devices then to check my settings!

  Seems that there is some security restrictions. The Treo 650 is not known to me, but I recommend to check the ActivSync security options and add the Palm Treo 6 the list of secure devices.

  You can try to download windows mobile device center 6.1 and then try to synchronize the device with vista.

  You must call AT & T to get the code.

  I am trying to synch (HotSync) an old Palm Treo 700 p with Windows 7 by Bluetooth and the Palm Treo 700 p tells me that I need to create a virtual serial port on the Bluetooth on my PC to synchronize.  I can't understand how to create this port in Windows 7.   Can someone help me?

• BlackBerry Smartphone Sync Palm Treo 755 p with BlackBerry Storm

  I was unable to sync my BB Storm with the data on my Palm Treo 755 p.  I use the BB desktop software - the two devices are connected to the PC via the USB ports.  I click on the device switch Wizard and follow the prompts.  However, the screen with the option buttons to select Palm or Microsoft is off and light gray.  I am unable to make a selection.   It may be important to note that I don't use Palm desktop.  My Palm Treo is set to synchronize with our database of the main company Act.  I appreciate your thoughts and the entrance.

• Calendar of transfer cannot blackBerry Smartphones: Palm Treo for Curve 8330

  I helped my husband spend his Palm Treo 600, Palm desktop use, again BB Curve 8330. A seller has transferred name and Tel #s only.  I managed to spend most of his Palm in Outlook and Outlook with the BB synchronized.  Now, the only problem seems to be that the calendar is not synchronized on for BB. Suggestions?

  I tried to synchronize the configurations of setting different ways: to synchronize calendar only, or all to ask Outlook to substitute the device and two-way.  Nothing to get the calendar the BB, even if all its addresses and tasks are there now. Help!

  Outlook 2003 and desktop manager v.6 will be perfect!

  Yes, install the main e-mail on the Blackberry address to match Outlook.

  On the Blackberry, you get a calendar for each e-mail address that you use.

  Alone can be synchronized with the Outlook calendar.

  You can e-mail Outlook, tools, options and verify that the default account.

  Then on Blackberry from the home screen, options, advanced options

  default services. Use main email options calendar CICAL and CMIME is enamel.

  Placing them as value by default synchronize you then e-mail to e-mail address schedules.

  You try to transfer calendar/contacts from Palm Treo 650 using Palm Desktop 4.1.4 for my BB Storm. It blocks every time. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

  I had a Treo 700wx.  I used Microsoft Outlook to synchronize my treo.  So I just hooked to the storm and said Desktop Manager to synchronize with Outlook.  All my contacts, calendar, tasks and memos were transferred easily.

  I just got the new Tour.  I've been using the Palm Treo and Palm Desktop (v 4.1.4).  1: the BB Desktop manager does NOT ask for name/password of the device, as indicated on this site.  2nd AND MAIN QUESTION: when BB starts to pass data from one platform to the other, it invariably gets stuck in the first transaction (calendar) on file 3724 3385, how it is listed as "not responding" and the same message comes back to Palm Desktop.  By another post, I adjusted the settings in Hot Sync related to the calendar to 'do nothing', but still experiences the same problem.  Help, please!  If I can't get these documents (including contacts) in the BB, it is worthless for me.

  Thanks for the suggestions. What ended the work has been upgraded to the latest version of Palm Desktop (v6.2) syncing the Palm Treo to Outlook (instead of Palm Desktop) and then sync Blackberry to Outlook.  Nothing else has worked, but now the contacts and calendar are in the Blackberry which was the goal.
