WHAT HAVE I DONE?

Hello Gumnut
Please write to the Microsoft Forums.

To help you better, please answer this question.
1 do you mean Pandor's box or it's Pandora's box.

(A). you can try to use the Windows Install Cleanup to remove remnants of installations failed, below.
Description of the Windows Installer Cleanup utility
A link to the below information and to download:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/290301

When you are working on your computer and install a new program, the installation suddenly fails. Now, you're left with a partly installed program. You try to install the program again, but you're unsuccessful. Or, maybe you have problems trying to remove an old program because the installation files are damaged.

Do not worry. Windows Installer Cleanup Utility may be able to help. You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer Cleanup Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

B. now try to install Pandora's box and see if that fixes the problem.

It may be useful
Thanks and greetings

    Hello

This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E

    Cause

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in the directory Inc. of the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system was launched with the /nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly, make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with the Switch/DEBUG .

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that any new hardware that is installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the service by starting the computer by using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved .chk , which contain fragments of files on disk scans. You can also use an another hard disk drive with more free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

It is an error to a VI report which normally crashes with the error, the default checking in the configuration of the LCFN VI attached dialog box. Impossible to debug it when it crashes; LabWindows CVI rises to debug but CVI crashes too.

  • remove the pop-up error dialog boxes

Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to remove the error dialog boxes that are displayed when the type of interface commands. For example, I call the open TCP/IP command and if the port is not available with a stop of execution error, it throws a dialog box. I want to handle the error all the time so I can report the error manually. I don't know there is a way to remove this does not happen. The General error handler is usually to show errors in the dialog box if you wish.

    Thank you...

To quote what I said earlier: "If you just manage the error, the dialog box should disappear."  And the definition of "handle" for the automatic error handler is that you wire to anything, even an indicator error.

  • Get a 'Send error report' or 'do not send' pop up!

Every time I have to try X out of my email, it seems that it takes forever to close, then when she's a bit "Internet Explorer"box will appear that will ask, "You have chosen to terminate the program that does not have Internet Explorer","Please tell Microsoft this problem", then I get 2 choices, 'Send error report' or 'do not send '. When I click on 'Send error report' I never get a report. Why?

    What version of Internet Explorer?

Try to minimize all open windows, as this can reveal hidden windows open.

To see copies of the generated reports to go to the event viewer.

Take a look in the system and the Application records in Event Viewer for
Errors and warnings and copies of post here. Don't post any more than 48

You can access event viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administration tools, and Event Viewer. When the search for meaning
error, event, Source ID, and Description information
    are important.

A tip for posting copies of error reports! Run the event and double observer
Click on the error you want to copy. In the window that appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click on the button and close event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of

  • Turn off Fax error report MFP M177fw

    Hello

I was unable to find an answer to my question when searching the forum, or in the installation instructions supplied with my printer.  If I missed the answer somewhere, please forgive me.

I have a M177fw MFP, I have Setup for fax and everything else.

When someone calls my fax line and hangs up, I get an error printed every time fax report.  The error report simply no fax detected, that is not correct.

I would like to disable the report, because I'm wasting paper and toner every time, which turns can be several times a day.

I can't find a menu option that would allow me to disable printing whenever errors report.

    Thank you

    Jeff.

Yes! Finally, thank you. Who did. My paper waste is complete.

Why isn't this documented anywhere in the product manual?

  • WindowsWcpOtherFailure3: and error reports created fills my hard drive...

    Hello

Hard drive of my computer began to fill about two days for an unknown reason. Thinking that some unnecessary files were on my computer, I went to the cleaning disk and made an analysis of my disk. I found that my 'system of windows error reporting files awaiting' occupied a few GB of HARD drive space, so I deleted them, as well as other files than found disk cleanup. Just when I thought it was the end of the problem, my HARD disk begins to fill even more, with the same culprit: 'system queued windows error reporting files'. When I looked at my error under 'reports on problems and solutions' reports, all reports was the same.

I, however, have a recovery disk partition. That will help if I reinstall vista from there?

Also, is there a less radical alternative? I would like to try something else before you do something this radical.

This will help you, and no, there is no other way, when important files are damaged.

  • Problem connecting to Windows Error Reporting Service

Some reports may not be uploaded to the "Windows Error Reporting Service". Please try again later.

    How much later?

    Hi Bob,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

According to the application, you experience problems connecting to the Windows Error Reporting Service.

To help solve your problem better, could you give us the following information?

    1. Since when are you facing this problem?
    2. Do you receive an error message when you connect to the Windows Error Reporting Service?

Method 1: check if Windows Error Reporting Service is started or not.

    1. click on start

    2. in the start search box, type Services

    3. click right on - RUN as ADMINISTRATOR

Check if the below mentioned services has mentioned State and type start.

Windows Error Reporting Service started Automatic\Manual.

Also check the dependency services that are required for Windows Error Reporting Service to run.

To verify that double-click the service, and click the Dependencies tab.

Method 2: I suggest you run the checker system (SFC) analysis files and check if it helps.

See the Microsoft support Article to start the scanning of the SFC.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

Method 3: use the cleanup utility disk and check if it helps.

See the Microsoft Help Article on how to perform a disk cleanup.

Hello, I had recently a problem with my computer locking up. I had several open tabs Chrome and has been messing around with VirtualBox. My display frozen, white and Brown, and my helmet started playing static. I looked in the error logs, and that's what I found. I could not find someone else with my specific problem, so thanks for any help you can offer.

Not a single 1001 the 23 events in the file.  You have disabled of course the newspaper

You have a number of things that should be addressed

The maximum file size for the session "ReadyBoot" has been reached. Thus, events may be lost (not connected) to the file 'C:\Windows\Prefetch\ReadyBoot\ReadyBoot.etl '. The maximum size of files is currently set to 20971520 bytes.

Cannot find the description of event ID 27 of source e1cexpress. Either the component that triggers this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

The system has rebooted without judgment properly first. This error can be caused if the system unresponsive, crashed or unexpected power loss.

This error EV is not responsible for freezing.

I would like to run a file system check to start

Please run a check of system files (SFC) & DISM if you're on win 8 or higher
