Pane 'Inspect element' Firefox 17

I like the component element inspect with dark background of 17 more than that in 18 with a white background.
Where can I find the CSS of the component element Firefox 17 inspect?

Try the version esr17 of the CSS file.

  • How can I get rid of panels 'inspect element' at the bottom of my screen?

I think I used the "inspect element" (the right button of the mouse) and a control panel appeared on the bottom of my screen. I can't get out. I now have two of them. They give just information about a picture, I was interested.

It should be a close button in the toolbar of this Panel on the right-hand side to close this Panel.
You can also look in Firefox/tools > Web Developer > Inspector

Furthermore the expert group should disappear after restarting Firefox.

You can check for problems with the file localstore.rdf.

  • "inspect element" not able to be closed

After the opening of the toolbar 'inspect element' right click menu is not able to be closed. I tried to click x toolbar, pushing the ESC and by again clicking 'inspect element' in the menu popup with nothing doesn't. The button (Q) also cause it to open it (as shown in right click menu).

Anyway, great job start to implement this useful functionality to firebug!

On the system that I am now using Firefox 9 on linux a cross to close if poster on the toolbar of the applications at the bottom of the screen, which will close the option to inspect. Linux shortcut is Ctrl + Shift + I and which enables / disables the option inspect power on and off.

I assume you are using the development tools available as Firefox standard rather than anything else like Firebug. (You also have firebug installed, if so try to disable it in the event of conflict)

I also have the possibility to activate inspect them or disable menus include a checkbox. checkbox option, which, in Windows 7, will be accessible from the Firefox Button.

  • Inspect element: pull the video (YouTube)

I use a Terminal application called "youtube-dl" (https://github.com/rg3/youtube-dl/blob/master/README.md#readme) to get HTML5 YouTube videos, but I would like to know the best way to make heads or tails of the feature "Inspect element" in Safari to achieve the same thing.

I can't figure out how to get the pictures, but not video for some reason any.

It's because you can't.  Inspect the element will just show you the source code of the html in question element. For Youtube video containers, the more you will get from him is the same url you see in the address bar.

  • inspect element - how to save the report after change

    Hello

When I create an interactive report and apply "leap control" option it interrupts the report according to the requirements of the standard with a button (+/-sign) on top for show/hide selection... I need to show the report with "Control Break", but don't want to show (option button at the top + /)

When I inspected the element (using internet explorer) and deleted the text and gif file... the report displayed exactly how I wanted it...

My question is how to save this report after making the changes in HTML format (with the help of inspect option element)... I did tried to register under default report, but the report got refreshed and +/-sign came back...

    Please advice

    Hello

When you look at the page source and modify it, it only affects your active HTML document.
You cannot save those changes to Apex.

You must use JavaScript and example dynamic action to change HTML each time when the report is rendered or refreshed.

    Kind regards
    Jari

  • "open Menu" does not, just like "inspect element" and "Customize toolbar".

  • Something Called "Inspect element Q" is in my drop-down menus. I want to block it and can't figure out how. It seems to be associated with Google Chrome or Firebug, but I did not either of these installed. Help would be appreciated thanks.

Apparently, this is coding and hacking, or that I do! I want to block it or delete it. Or, if it is, please reassure me. It's only on my laptop, not other computers.

    Hi omelette.

It's actually a new feature in Firefox for web developers.

If you want to disable it, just look at the Cor - el post on this topic:

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/917221

If you are interested in how it works, take a look at this blog post:

    Hope this helps!

  • I've set up a Web site using the TNG software for genealogists. It seems fine in Chrome and Safari. It is different and not as good as in Firefox.

My new site Web search OK on Safari. On Firefox, the fonts look lighter and smaller. Underscore bars now appear thinner. How can I make Firefox display look more, as it should be and not on Safari?

    Thank you
    Bob

The specified 12px font size seems not to be very large, so maybe this will increase a little in case a small font is used by Firefox.

    font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;

What the police use Firefox on the page?

You just right-click and select "Inspect element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) with the selected item.
You can check the font used for the text selected in the tab fonts in the right pane of the Inspector.

Just so you can check that you are not the page zoom.
Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

    • View > Zoom > reset (Command + 0 (zero))
  • Missing parts of the internet from firefox. Weird behavior again.

    Hello.

I checked mozilla for solutions. Unfortunately, it's the old solution and Firefox has changed its position that the old solution is not valid.

I see missing icons and images of my yahoo emails and a few other sites (don't remember who, but yahoo email is perfect example since it's popular e-mail service and I am sure that anyone use it may have this problem before and offer me a solution if all goes well).

How to bring back the icons? There is nothing to with the Add-ons or hardware acceleration please (this "click on / off hardware acceleration option" is the myth).

    Thank you.

Allowing page fonts is an important part of the process. I assume you reloaded the page after that.

It is also possible to completely block the downloadable fonts. For example, on this page, most of the text uses the police to open San. To check if your Firefox download and use without open, you can right-click on the text, then choose inspect element (Q). The Inspector opens in the lower part of the tab. On the right side, the rule group is usually active, but you will see a fonts runs slightly to the right of that. If you click on that, it should watch without open, as in the attached screenshot.

If your Firefox is not using downloadable fonts, please check this setting:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste gfx and make a pause so that the list is filtered

C if the gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled is in bold and "user set" false, double-click it back to true

You can reload the page and see if that helps.

    Any improvement?

Finally, there are some add-ons that may affect downloadable fonts. NoScript is an example. If you use NoScript, look for his drop-down/pop-up menu "blocked objects".

  • Some Web sites do not display the fonts in firefox.

For a while through a number of updates, I see that on some Web sites, rolling stone and cnbc are two example. If I go to the fonts in my computer and click on restore default settings for fonts, it solved that temporarily the problem. If I go to the settings and disable Web sites use their own fonts, it solves but fonts do not appear as sites intend to make them appear. This does not happen in other browsers, firefox only. I reinstalled windows fonts 7. I tried to disable hardware acceleration... Still has not solved the problem. How can I solve this problem in firefox?

Do you know if there is a model of policing does not work? If you right click on the text of the problem and choose inspect element (Q), Firefox should open the Inspector tool in the lower part of the tab. On the right side in front of the HTML source code is a box that can usually shows the style rules. Click small heading fonts to show the font used for the text of the problem.

When I visit the site, the text of the problem is in "Close Gotham" (with more than words displayed in the attached screenshots). These are downloadable fonts.
