• Error when previewing PDF from Word

  I am to convert a form to a report, and have never encountered this before. I know that there is something hidden in the form, the cause because I took the XML file and create a new document with all the contents of the field as a test and it works fine. How can I track down what is ther error originally. When I download the model of Peoplesoft and run it, I get:

  Try to run the model and examples of data through the Model Viewer application that comes with the installation of the editor. There is a debugging flag that can be set to try to get a better error stack

• Text missing when exporting pdf to word doc

  I'm trying to export a pdf file to word in Acrobat DC, but despite all my efforts on 2/3 of the text disappears. The headers appear, but the text body is unrecognizable because of so many missing characters.  I tried to print the PDF to the PDF printer, but no dice. I'm also pretty sure that I have the font that was used in the document already downloaded - does anyone else have this problem?

  PDF to Word, Excel or any other format conversion is one of the most complex things, you can try to do it with a PDF file. It works very well in some cases, in other cases, the output doesn't have much to do with the original file. The key to success is that the PDF file must be "marked" - which means that it contains information about the information displayed in the file. The best way to ensure that a PDF file is properly tagged is using the PDFMaker in Acrobat to create PDF from Word or Excel file (this is the Acrobat Ribbon or toolbar).

  Unfortunately it is not that you can do to improve the output without spending a lot of time (for example manually tracking file). In addition, if you use Adobe ExportPDF service and do not have access to Acrobat, it is even not an option.

  In most cases, the only thing you can do is complain to the original author of the file and tell them that they used a PDF generator bad to create the PDF file.

  I used times new roman in word 2013.  New file.  Apparently the version of adobe that I use will not incorporate.  I use the version line.  I was told that I have to upgrade to Adobe Pro.  I'm dealing with a patent application, so I can't share the document.  The patent office cannot accept that documents with embedded fonts.  My drawings that have been scanned and then converted are a problem too because I get an error based on the size of the page (23.6 "x 32.4") and I am unable to reduce this size in files from Adobe.com.

  Unfortunately I signed up for this product that get these two converted documents and uploaded only to discover that the conversions will not download.

  When I try to create a PDF from word or excel docs using acrobat on the toolbar, the program ends with the warning "Word find problems with the acrobatpdfmaker office com add-in" - I turned off and check the updates and through troubleshooting but no joy. Not willing to continue to pay subscription fee for something that does not work.

  Adobe Acrobat 9 is not compatible with Windows 10.

  It may or may not work properly with this OS.

  I would also like to inform you that it is an older version and not support the Adobe Acrobat application.

  ExportPDF online service supports several Scandinavian languages for optical recognition of characters. To change the language it uses, click on the language of the Document (for text recognition) once you have selected the file you want to export. You will find several Scandinavian languages listed in the context menu, including the Norwegian, Danish and Swedish.

• Italics in creating a PDF from Word

  I have a client that uses a specialized police.  This is a license (including italic, bold and bold italic) and in the directory.

  Using Microsoft Word 2010 on Windows 7, the function "Create a PDF file" changes all instances of the police in slanted/sloped Roman Italic; bold and bold italic function as expected.  It seems to be unique to the function of Word: I can open the files in OpenOffice, use its PDF Creator, and italics out (even if other things on the file are problematic). The problem occurs with several parameters to create a PDF file, including Standard, print and press.  Coating (or desincorporation) forcing the police doesn't seem to work.  Suggestions elsewhere on the forum for similar problems, I tried to copy or link the font files in the folder of files shared/fonts from Adobe; that did not help, either.  I reinstalled the police a couple of times, and the problem persists.

  I don't really know what I'm doing and it's quite possible that there is a very easy solution here; any help would be appreciated!

  In case someone ever crosses this problem (another symptom: If in the editing of text in Adobe, you deitalicize and reitalicize the text tilted artificially, it gets replaced by the true italics, so that the computer knows clearly the existence of italic), I discovered that he strives to do not use functions "Create a PDF file" or "Save as Adobe PDF" in Word , but rather use generic "Save as", then choose PDF as the file type.  It uses underlying italics, without the artificial obliques.

• How can I do when I click on bookmarks bookmarks are displayed with having them to go to a folder?

  When I click the Bookmarks button, I wish that the content of my bookmarks toolbar to shown immediately, instead of having to pass on "bookmarks toolbar". I had this before with shiori, but that no longer works.

  Time is incorrect in Windows Photo Gallery and I would like to do this automatically scanned early for photos instead of my change time.

  Unfortunately, this information is not always accurate. If you took some of your pictures in a different time zone, for example, the time recorded for these pictures could be incorrect by several hours. The camera can also be set to the wrong date and time. Or, if you're scanning photos, ta date will reflect the date that they have been digitized, not the date on which they were taken. All these anomalies can be adjusted manually.

  To change the date or time

  1. open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.

  2. If you do not see the details on the side of the window pane, click information on the toolbar to display it.

  3. click on the image you want to change.

  1. to select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL and click each picture you want to change.

  4. click on the date at the top of the details pane.

  5. click on the arrow next to the date and then click the correct date on the calendar.

  6. click on the time at the top of the details pane.

  7. Select the correct time.

   

  To adjust the time for pictures taken in a different time zone

  1. open Windows Photo Gallery by clicking on the Start button, all programs, and then clicking Windows Photo Gallery.

  2. right click on the image you want to change and then click on change time taken.

  To select more than one picture, hold down the CTRL and click each picture you want to change, and then click a picture when you are done.

  3. in the change to box, type the number of hours to change, or click the up or down arrow to select the number of hours. To make the new start time, type a minus sign (-) before the number.

• How to store relative links when generating PDFs?

  I have a Word document with hypertext links.  When I generate a PDF, it makes these absolutes.  It doesn't matter how to generate the pdf file (save as pdf, print to PDF, using Macromedia for Word 2010, or open acrobat pro and conversion in this way).  How to preserve links to external files?

  The only recommendation I have is to use an external tool to convert files of absolute links to those related.
