Panorama in CC photoshop lasso tool

I can't Pan using the SPACEBAR when you use the lasso tool, where as in CS6 this worked well.

Hi helenINK,

Would suggest you to close all other applications that are running in the background and then check.

Also, make sure that your program is updated: keeping up to date of Photoshop

Kind regards

  • The polygonal Lasso tool is nuts now!

I have Photoshop CS6 Version 13.0 x 64.  Recently, I upgraded my system to the Version OS X El Capitan 10.11.5.  Since I have my Polygonal Lasso tool does not work.  I can't start in a specific place, the starting point does not appear.  Then I hold the Option key down, move the cursor to the next location, but the line moves rarely in that position.  And it continues all the way up until when I try to close the path, I have to hold down the command key to make it.

Also, if I'm doing a diagonal line and hold down the Option key, it's often a horizontal or vertical line instead.

None of that happened with my old system.  Any thoughts on why and, if necessary can be made?  My RAM is maxed out, so this isn't the problem.

  • The Polygonal Lasso tool will not systematically put points on a selection.

The Polygonal Lasso tool will not systematically put points on a selection. When I click on select and moving to another point at random don't graph a line from the last point to the new I want. I can go back and click again to the previous point and sometimes it will follow until the next point, but sometimes with simply close the selection prematurely.

This happened after I upgraded to Windows 10 Version 1511 (OS Build 10586.318).

I was finally able to contact the customer support of cat care and the agent, Arjun Hohli, was able to do repair. I tried to follow along what he was doing, but lost track. It seems to heal by resetting preferences, uninstalling and reinstalling CC files. It was a problem with PS CC 2015 and Windows 10. I suggest to anyone having a similar problem to jump the forums and go straight to the Contact Customer Service REPS the remote access feature works fine and save a ton of confusion. It allows to see the real problem rather than relying on the customer precisely describing the anomaly, the support staff.

  • The lasso tool is what mobile app?

I just bought an ipad Pro with the intention to use it for photo editing (removing settings), but I can't find the lasso tool in a mobile applications. Where can I find it?

    Thank you!

    Hey arcweb2013!

You are in the right place. Photoshop Mix is the 'cut-out' tool that acts as a lasso or masking tool. With the help of your finger or stylus, you can cut the assets and combine them. Check out this tutorial for more information: How to combine photos with Photoshop Mix | Adobe Creative cloud Mobile Apps tutorials

Let me know if that helps!

    See you soon

  • How to solve the problem with the wacom tablet and the polygonal lasso tool. It does not work with a pen.

How to solve the problem with the wacom tablet and the polygonal lasso tool. It does not work with a pen. I have install windows 10 and fresh, new drivers for wacom bamboo, could he makes problems or there is a problem of photoshop?

It should do.  You use one of the buttons of pen maybe?  Just touching wheels with the pen with no buttons or modifier keys.  Press ENTER to close the selection.

Personally I never use the lasso, Polygonal, but rather just the Lasso tool by using the ALT (Opt) to operate the Polygonal tool.  I also use the mouse instead of the Tablet for the selection of cutting edge.  It is a little too uncertain where the point will go when hovering the stylus above the image.

  • Lasso tool polygon binding angles trying to add to the selection with the SHIFT key

Since upgrading (downgrading?) of Photoshop CS6 Extended Photoshop CC I have a problem with the lasso tool of polygon limited at certain angles when you try to add to a selection.

Here's the scenario, I select a color background with the magic wand tool, then I would like to add a few things to the selection, so I click on the polygon lasso tool and hold the SHIFT key to add to the playlist and then start to use the polygon lasso tool... often very randomly the polygon lasso tool will limit his movements to a 90 degree angle Sometimes something that seems like an angle of 30 degrees and sometimes he'll do any.

I'm doing something wrong or is this a bug?

The SHIFT key has two functions in the creation of a selection.  The first is as you know to add to any selection using another selection tool.  The second is forced to angles in drawing and selection, but also rotation tools.  So for your example, you have to hold down the SHIFT key when you click on to add to your selection using the polygon lasso tool, but after making the first click with the tool, Photoshop knows that you want to add to the selection.  So do not hold the SHIFT key after the first click, otherwise Photoshop assumes that you also want to compel the angles drawing of your choice.  (Unless that's what you really want to)

  • My Polygonal Lasso tool no longer works

I have Adobe CS4 for Mac. Just today, whenever I join a box with my polygonal lasso tool, he stopped to close the area and instead of it gives me the message "WARNING: no pixel is selected to more than 50 percent." Selected edges will be not visible. "I must have accidentally sinking something makes the lasso tool no longer works, but I didn't knoow what. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Or I have to reset photoshop? Ways to reset it? I tried holding option, command shift but it always reset my photoshop to its original settings. Also, I have restarted my computer several times without success. Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Awesome. I changed it to zero and everything is back to normal! Thank you thank you very much!

  • Magnetic Lasso tool does not work properly

The magnetic lasso tool not stop once I've selected a topic with her.  Literally, he keeps moving and just goes on lines around the drawing page.  I don't know how to stop it once I have chosen something.   I used Photoshop Elements without any problem with the magnetic tool.  If anyone can help with how to keep it from running wild.

    Thank you

    Suzanne

Did you follow the selection, either by clicking about to start or double-clicking since the last point?

  • Polygonal Lasso tool ends early with Intuos 3 in CS4 (Vista Home)

I've been using the Polygonal Lasso tool in Photoshop CS4 to make a selection using a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, but frustrating it is over at the beginning and apparently at random before I return to the starting point. I use Photoshop version 11.0.1 and Intuos 3 and the latest version of Direct X that you have installed the latest drivers. If I hold the pen on the Tablet, that the screen flickers sometimes (revealing the window behind) which can lead to the selection ended prematurely and sometimes it ends just at the beginning without obvious reason. I use Vista Home edition. Everyone knows about this problem? Any suggestions about what I can do about it? It is pretty unusable at the moment.

I do not deny your arguments, I was simply saying that for me it works. And I truly believe that most of the issues is certainly not related to the tool itself, but rather combinations of graphics card quirks and glitches in mouse / tablet drivers and configuration...

  • How can I stop and then resume when you use the magnetic Lasso tool?

CS4 on Mac. I have some fairly complicated selections to make and the magnetic lasso tool seems a good choice. However: How can I stop and then resume when in use? For example, I would like to zoom, start by dragging along the edge, then stop, move the image to a different area of it is in the middle of my screen, then pick up again where I left.

    Hi MarieMeyer,

You can press the SPACEBAR shortcut to activate the hand tool temporarily once you are finished with the selection on a part of the image.

Then, move the image with the key space key and let it continue with the selection by using the magnetic lasso tool.

You can use the SHIFT key to add to the selection by using the magnetic lasso tool.

    Kind regards
