PanoStandAlone

What is "PanoStandAlone"?  Where did this come from?  Why can't find it so I can REMOVE it?

I know that this post has been here for some time, and the person initially won't benefit from; but I just ran into the same problem.  The program is not part of any software of HP that I'm aware, although I thought so at first, the installer came when I started my computer or tried to launch the Image area, and the only way to get rid of it was to stop it in the Task Manager; the way I fixed it was to download "Windows Installer Clean Up" on the Microsoft website.  Find PanoStandAlone and just remove it.  Then when I tried to open Image box the same problem came to the top, but with a program called PhotoGallery.  I removed it and got the area of the Image to open.  After the area of the Image opens, another program came in the same way and after removing the third party, (don't remember exactly how it's called), I had no problem at the moment.  Now please don't forget I'm not and expert, I'm just sharing what I found in hopes that it might help someone else avoid the headache.
