Parameter Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-card...

When I was trying to solve a problem with a Link-Layer Topology problem, I came across a setting that has been disabled and I would like to know why. The path to get there is StartMenu > ControlPanel > DeviceManager. Once I'm there, I changed the view to connect devices.  I double clicked on the Dell WLAN Mini Card, began to inspect the settings for something referring to the topology of the layer of liaison, and found something XPress (TM) technology is a framework for people with disabilities. WHY? The rest of this list is to some extent; WHY isn't just a SINGLE (caps for close-up camera extreme intense intrigue, not screaming!)? I've used windows? but impossible to get info. Can you please help me?

Hello

XPress (TM) Technology is a standards-based software enhancement that increases the efficiency of the data in order to improve the performance of the network. Xpress TM technology is disabled by default.

  • Dell Inspiron 1545 with a 1397 WLAN Mini Card with XP and SP3 will not connect to WPA2

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1545 with a 1397 WLAN Mini Card in XP that has less than two years.  I can not connect to WPA2 wireless networks.  I have SP3 installed, when I try to install the patches, it is said that I must not and will not let me.  I tried to update my wireless card, Wireless Zero Configuration running and it still doesn't work.

    Hello

XP SP3 is already compatible WPA2.

Have you checked that utility without the seller wire initial is not too active?

The card connects to open source Wireless and WPA - PSK protected?

Did you use the latest drivers from Dell?

  • DELL 1510 N WLAN Mini card is compatible with the W8?

I installed W8 on my Dell Studio 1735. Access wireless Internet is very very slow. I don't have this problem with W7 on the same computer. I tried with an external network cable. Very fast, 50mbps. I also tried with an external wifi adapter USB Belkin. It works very well. Computer is a Dell Wireless 1500 N WLAN Mini Card Driver version: 5.100.245.20 Date: 2012-03-13. I can't find a better driver.

I have another problem I do have with W7.  I can't evaluate the computer. The Windows experience index cannot go beyond test Direct3D 10 Texture Load assessment.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you.

I seemed to have found a solution to my issue.

I was able to find a Win 7 driver that solves my Windows 8 driver issue with very slow and intermittent/dropped

wifi connections for the Dell 1510 N WLAN (Broadcom 4322) wifi adapter.

The driver I found is: Network_Driver_WD35F_WN_5.100.235.12_A37

    I found it here: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/driverdetails/product/precision-m4500?driverid=wd35f&fileid=2962647016

The the auto installer will not run without error. However, it will allow you to extract the files from the driver

package to a directory of your choice. Then you can point Windows 8 driver change/update utility

('Have Disk') to that directory - 'Drivers/Win7/WL' and select the bcmwl6.inf to install a driver

    (Broadcom v.5.100.235.12)

    I hope this helps others.

  • Nothing to do with the DIR - 655 and Dell Wireless 1505 PCI Mini Card router

Hello, I'm struggeling with my new Latitude D830 and the Dell Wireless 1505 Draft 802.11n WLAN Mini Card. It won't connect wireless to my D - Link DIR-655 router.

I am now running Vista, but I had the same problem on the same computer with Windows XP.

I have set up my network with WPA2 only and mode mixed ng. I have 3 other computers on the network who have no problems.

When I try to connect, I see the network at full power and I am prompted for the password. He responds with "Windows is unable to connect to..." ». When you try to diagnose it, he tells mark that "Windows has no recevice any response from the wireless router. In the event log, I found "status of the Association: Fail code reason for 0 x 00038002 0x00000002".

  • Bad signal wireless Dell Inspiron 1564 laptop 1397 WLAN Mini card

I tried just about everything to improve wireless signal deteriorating strongly that the PC is moved a few feet of Belkin router.   Other members of the community of Dell have reported that switching from the driver provided to pilot Microsoft 'default' significantly improved things and suggested: Microsoft, driver Date: 01/10/2008, driver Version: 4.176.75.21 can someone tell me where this driver can be downloaded or offer alternative remedies?

1 I solved the problem by uninstalling the Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility then [Control Panel, system, Device Manager] removal from the Board & let Windows redetect and re - install [using its default driver].  Problem solved - I now receive wireless signals well.

2 I also spent a step further, but then had to travel to what I wrote at paragraph 1 above.

2.1 I tried updating the driver with Dell to update the facilities but [even though the version number of the driver was the same] the problem of weak reception back.  I repeated the solution in my para 1 and it was beautiful once again.

2.2 I have updated the driver using Windows Update, but once more [although the version number of the driver was the same] the problem of weak reception back.  I repeated the solution in my para 1 and it was beautiful once again.

Both Windows & Dell drivers come from Broadcom at some point as they made this card.

I also tried to contact the Dell technical support six times during my warranty period, but never got a reply.

This solution I have from what I'd learned from the user of the Jack MVPforum.

  • Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN can communicate with the Netgear router

Everything works very well with my old HP laptop.
Now, I also have a Dell Inspiron 1520 with a Dell wireless 1395 WLAN mini map. I can't links with my Netgear router using the new Dell. However, I can link to the top of my next "s"Linksys"router, but by very weak signal because of distance. • Driver for Dell Wireless 1505 Draft 802.11n WLAN Mini Card

Have your Studio 540 desktop provided with Windows VISTA. I then updated to Windows 7 64-bit. The 5G band worked until the death of my old router.

I bought a new Western Digital N600 dual-band router. The problem I have is that my PC does not record the band of 5G, only 2. 4 g. NIC card driver dates back to 2008 (Dell) and the manufacturer (Broadcom) transmits the responsibility of Dell. Won't even talk about it.

My iPAD recognizes 5G so I know the router is OK.

Anyone know how to get the last driver W7 for this card? I don't see how to get it from Dell.

It is better to just go and buy a new NIC card?

    Thank you, Bob

  • Set up a network using WLAN Mini Card

I have a desktop HP Pavilion HPE 300.  A friend gave me a WLAN 802.11n mini-map he got HP and never used.  What drivers and adapters wireless do I need to use this card to set up my computer to the wireless network.  This work of setting type will love Wi Fi I can also can internet with my laptop?

RNickelson wrote: thank you all for your expertise.  How is connected to the antenna to the card, it is welded to the bow on the left side of the Middle?  He took no airtime on the map.  Wireless USB adapter looks like a good idea.

Hello RNickelson, since you must buy the antenna of HP, I suggest simply buying a card PCIe x 1 from NewEgg and install it in one of the PCIe x 1 available slots.

Here a link to NewEgg is where a wireless Asus PCIe x 1 card can be found at a reasonable price.

It has two external antennas, which would better the antenna wire plug to map wireless HP and inside the metal computer case. The metal would decrease the signal compared to the antennas outside the case.

You must always buy a wireless router, if you already have a step or access to a wireless access point.
