  We cannot fix. We do not control how extensions interact with new versions. It is the job of the developer to keep with Firefox updates and update their extensions to be compatible with the latest version.

  It seems that the developer has yet to release an update that works in 29. A review is below:

• Automatic download extensions do not work

  I use the extension "Download 2.5.8 ranking" somewhat, specifically to download images, but since I updated Firefox to version 23.0 this extension no longer works. When I right-click on an image that I want to automatically record, then select "Save Image under", nothing happens. In the previous version of Firefox, it worked without any problem, I want to select Save Image as and download sort would automatically download the image in the specific folder.
  I know that this extension is quite old and has not been updated, but it doesn't seem to work with the new extension called Automatic Save Folder 1.0.4 as

  It is now impossible to create a native C/C++ library and export C functions that can be used by Flash commands for example. The sample "SampleDll" C-level extensibility project now does not work in Flash Pro CC as well:

  When Flash Pro CC is installed the "< user_home_dir > / AppData/Local/Adobe/Flash CC / < language_code >/Configuration/external libraries" already contains a dll that exports the MM_Init and the MM_Terminate, so presumably the extensibility of level C is still available, but its likely new use may not yet be documented.

  C-level extensibility is supported by Adobe Flash CC just that you need to build the 64-bit version now. What is the error you get? You can try the link of file sample shared in my post above?

• Received warning re. McAfee ScriptScan 14.4.1 extension will not work with FF 10.0.2 update and it will be disabled. How should I proceed?

  MY system is Windows XP, SP3, computer laptop, running FF 9.0.1. When you try to update to FF 10.0.2 I received a msg that the McAfee ScriptScan 14.4.1 addon will not work with FF 10.0.2 and will be disabled. Will I go ahead and install the update for FF? Wouldn't be a risk to security anyway? What's the worst?

• ZoneAlarm PRO browser extension does not work in FF18, is it planned to work with ZA to resolve this incompatibility?

  Update FF18 in January or December, received the warning that my security extension for the browser ZoneAlarm Pro (or add-on?) is not compatible and has been disabled.

   I contacted Zonealarm and was told they were working on a fix.
   In the past, they have always released a fixed extension within a few days of a new FF release, so I waited for a week, but nothing.
   I then contacted ZA and the agent said I should revert back to FF17, but when I researched that with Mozilla, it was strongly advised NOT to roll back to FF17 (I couldn't figure out how to do so at the FTP site anyway), so I got back to ZA and was told in January that a fix should be released in 2-3 weeks.
   It has been 6 weeks now and NOTHING from ZA.
   I just spent an hour on-line with ZA and eventually was told they may never release a fix so ZAPro will work with FF18...that agent today wouldn't give me any info, even whether they were working to fix it or not...his solution was to use IE which is something I will NOT do.
   I would just like to know whether Mozilla plans to work with Zonealarm to address this problem or not so I can try to decide what to do.
   I HATE browsing with no firewall, so the follow-up question is whether you are aware of some other firewall (preferably free) that I can ALSO use with my installed ZAPro firewall and incorporate that other firewall to just work with FF18 and allow ZAPro to be my primary firewall for all other protection.
   Any help would be appreciated because I'm thoroughly disgusted with ZA at this point for hanging me (and thousands of other FF users) out to dry with NO protection when browsing.
   Also, by using FF18 by itself with just an AV program (eset NOD32), what security exposure am I incurring by not having any firewall protection in place?

  OK, first of all, update Firefox 19. Then run the Zonealarm updates.

  Please note that the extension of Zonealarm does nothing for the impact on the security of your computer (zonealarm still work without the extension), and stay on an older version of Firefox is a security risk. Thus, for most security, be updated with Firefox and disabling extension of Zonealarm are more secure that obsolete in Firefox and Zonealarm

• The markup extension does not work in the mail. It works fine in the preview.

  iMac, OS X 10.10.5...

  I tried and tried to mark an image in an e-mail message, that I'm composing. I have tried both a new message and a reply. I tried it with PNG, GIF, and PDF image files attached to the message. I found the suggestion of Apple to run "lsregister - kill - seeds" and did, my user account and under sudo. He many .bundle, .appex and a couple of files .opplugin, but none of them was the markup. I made sure the markup has been enabled in system preferences > Extensions.

  The small icon of menu drop-down appears in the corner of an image when I wave the cursor over them, but clicking on "Markup" in the list does not cause nothing to take.

  When I try to call the markup extension, the following text is written in system.log...

  Oh, I found a few clues and worked on my fix.

  Referring to the thread Sharing feature works not well, I used

  sudo ls-leOR "/ Volumes/Macintosh HD/System/Library/Caches".

  "to determine that I had not 'limited' flags troubling my Caches. So I jumped to Linc Davis' 9 and 10 steps (in response to 13:40 February 9, 2016) and

  sudo/usr/libexec/xpchelper - rebuild-cache

  sudo/usr/libexec/AppSandbox/app_sandbox_cache_builder - rebuild-cache

  and now the markup extension works in Mail.

  Thank you riegey for my problem. I have no other toolbar, so I couldn't adopt your way to solve. Nevertheless, I am happy that the problem has disappeared. I wrote to the French TV5 dictionary producer and asked them for a solution. I can't say if it was resolved, have not heard from them yet, but the toolbar works again as before the update of Mozilla. If the problem occurs again in the future, I'll take leave of Mozilla.

  Thank you for reporting the issue. We have already identified this problem and follow-up. While extensions are trying to solve this problem, can you please try following steps and let us know if it helps.

  1. close Animate runs.

  2. go in the following location on Windows: C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC 2015.2\

  3. If it contains two folders of locale:

  for example, en_AU (parameters system locale), en_US (local animation)

  4 copy the folders in the row (if it exists)

  a. copy the contents of en_AU\Configuration\Commands\ to en_US\Configuration\Commands\

  b. copy the contents of the en_AU\Configuration\WindowSWF\ to en_US\Configuration\WindowSWF\

  5. launch Animate and check the extensions.

  Note: In your case, locale system and installed local Animate can be different

• Adobe Acrobat - create PDF Chrome Extension does not work

  The extension was installed when I installed Acrobat Pro XI and worked fine until Chrome has been updated to version 29 or 30. The extension is enabled, the drop down menu works, but it does nothing when you click on the drop down choices.

  It sounds like the PITA kludgiest thank-you, sketchiest - especially since there is no previous examples of success. Adobe should fix this problem. It's as simple as that.

• 3rd themes part, sometimes does not work on Windows 7?

  

  Basically, that's what my theme looks (custom made by someone, credits to them) and it all works now, everytime I try to change it, it gives me the appearance of original windows, something like that in the .gif http://support.kaspersky.com/images/support_new/runbackup_200 (en) start menu but if I use the original themes that say, Windows 7 provides and custom themes I have personally done with orders to customize, then it works.

  Anyone know the possible reasons for this? Normally, this works very well, but as of late I can't change without having to restore the system to a critical update, which was for Windows Outlook 2013 which I highly doubt has nothing to do with the evolution of the themes.

  Please, back up all data before proceeding.

  Launch the Keychain Access application in one of the following ways:

  ☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

  ☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

  ☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

  Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to find an item named 'Safari Extensions list'. If found, delete it. Quit Keychain Access.

  Quit and restart the Safari app.
