  What follows is HPENVY4500 all_in_one printer, scanner, copier and fax. Professor, thank you very much for your help. However, I managed to fix my situation with the changes as follows:

  1. in the hp/scan utility on the computer. I clicked on the Scan of the computer and then the change analysis tasks...

  2. This was brought up in a popup window. I then put 'photo jpeg' highlight and click on modify.

  3. This brought another window. This is the important part. I've changed the menu presets "Photos, graphics, etc." and then that immediately under this Type 'exit' I've changed to read JPEG.

  4. everything that sounds very complex and I know I got lucky to fall on this procedure, because I'm good technically not for sure!

  However, the procedure above fixed my problem and my scans to and from the computer using Direct and wireless network were quite normal and very good. The scans are clear and bright and crisp colors. I am now very happy.

  As for the solution "self-cultivation", I'll certainly store that is far away and use it if you need. Although it was not necessary for my problem now, it's a very important protocol worth remembering.

  The application from HP for your printer is not compatible with El Capitan, so the output files incorrectly recorded.

  In the Hewlett-Packard folder move HP Scan to the trash and empty it.

  Please specify the exect option that you use to scan from the control panel of the device.

  What exect icon are you clicking after selecting the scam?

  If it is computer, try to update the latest version of the driver and check if the Scan shortcuts Manager do not appear:

  I have a file Illustrator CS6 (64-bit version 16.0.3) I placed in InDesign CS6 (version 8.0.2) and exported in PDF format. The PDF file appears in Acrobat X Pro (version 10.1.13).   in case someone else stumbles across this thread, it turns out that it was due to the use of live paint. Once I got it worked (mostly).

• How can I run without losing a part of the image?

  I used a scanner to scan in a bunch old photos flat.  The photos are not perfectly straight - I thought I could turn and recrop using LR.

  Here's the problem: I have a bunch of crooked pictures on a white background.  If I try to rotate the photo, it will eventually crop part of the photo.  (Does make sense - you've all seen that when you tried to rotate a photo).

  But I need to find a way to tell LR to add in extra white background as needed instead of cutting into my actual photo.

  I can do this in PS by creating a great white background, turning the original photo and then to cropping.  It's annoying when you have 100 + images.  But is there a way to do that in LR?

  On the Correction of the lens, manual tab of the panel is a slider on the scale.  Set it to a value less than 100.

• HP envy 4500: upper part scanning but the lower part of the older scan

  I need an explanation of what could of happened to cause this problem.

  I've scanned 4 cheques, but only the upper part of the cheques would be real, the lower part was released as a previous check scanned.

  So basically all 4 cheques are the same except for the date and sequence number which was the upper part.

  That's happened? I'm so confused.
