The printer is connected via a usb cable?  If so, how long is?

Have you tried a different usb cable?

Please help - I've tried everything I can thing including the abolition of the printer, restart your computer, plug in the printer and windows reinstalled automatically.

Hey @Patbrew, welcome to the Forums of HP! I'd love to help you with the paper size of your client

Please follow the following steps and let me know the results of your efforts.

Step 1: Create the new custom paper size

To set the new custom paper size, create the new size of the printer software.

    1. Go to the control panel and open devices and printers, printers or printers and faxes.

    2. Click on your printer icon, and then click Properties in the print server.

Figure: Location of the print server properties

      NOTE:

If the properties of the print server does not appear, right click on an empty area in the Printers window, select run as administrator from the menu drop-down, then selectServer properties.

    3. If the user account control window opens, click on continue.

    4. On the Forms tab, select Create a new form check box, and then type a name for the new format of paper in the name of the form.

Figure: Forms tab in the properties of the print server

      1. Create a new form

      2. Name of the form

    5. Select metric or English, and then type the dimensions for your custom paper in the width and height text boxes.

Figure: Forms tab in the properties of the print server

      1. Metric or English

      2. Width and height

      NOTE:

Let the printer area margins set at 0.00.

    6. Click on save the form, and then click OK or close.

    NOTE:

Supported paper sizes vary depending on the printer. If you enter the dimensions custom that your printer does not support, the new custom paper size does not appear when you try to print. Check the specifications of the printer for your printer for more information on supported paper sizes.

Step 2: Select the new format of custom in the printer software paper

To begin to print on custom paper size, select the new size of the printer software.

    1. In the printers and devices window that you opened in the previous step, right-click on your printer icon, then selectPrinting preferences.

    2. On the paper/quality tab, click Advanced.

    3. In paper size, select the name of the new custom paper size.

Figure: Paper size with the new selected custom paper size

    4. Click OK.

The custom paper size is now default paper for all printing on your computer. You can change the default paper size back to the printing options and selecting the desired size.

  • K550 printer: not only partially printed paper

I had this printer at home for 3-4 years. Now, every leaf, regardless of the type of paper, print partially and stops in the printer. The power and seeing resumes flashing. After 30 seconds, the paper is eliminated, and only 10% of the leaves are printed.

The printer utility window shows "printer busy." To stop the printer market and try again with the same results.

Here's what I've done several times and nothing has solved the problem...

1 reset the printer. Unplug and plug back in. Power cord is plugged directly into the wall.

    2. the self-test. Several times. 20 to 30 pages are pushed through.

    3. fitting of paper in the tray.

    4. clean the rollers and rollers selector paper with water and alcohol with Publix.

    5. properties of the printer checked - size, type, source. Everything is good.

6 reset sysem printing according to the Apple support.

    7. check the gas station. Clean all items. No pieces of paper anywhere.

8 reinstall the print heads. Two alignment pages printed. Seems good. Magenta color's ridged.

    Is this related?

    Why spend these pages?

I followed all of the suggestions you provided. None of this has worked.

    BUT...

    "What are the ink levels?

  • Office Jet Pro 8600: Partial printing

When you print a photo about a third of the picture is printed paper is ejected and then the rest of the image is printed on the next piece of paper.

I use advanced photo paper HP mode landscape with dpi maximum or output of high quality. Curiously, I don't seem to have the same problem with plain paper. Anyone got tips?

Thank you. My suggestion is to make a copy of the photo using only the printer. You can place a photo on the scanner and press copy on the printer, but it's normal, I see the issue now. It seems that this may be a hardware problem and have nothing to do with software or print settings. Looks like the printer has difficulty feeding paper properly, or paper photo itself could be sticking causing 2 sheets to feed through both.

You may be new photo paper you can try, paper fresh out of the package?

Now that I understand the question, I suggest you use the following document to solve the problem: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printers (N911) - more than one Page at a time feeds through the printer.

Thank you for your patience and perseverance. Talk to you soon.

  • Partial printing only problem!

I'm having a problem of "pulling hair" to the subject of my HP Officejet Pro 8000 because when I go to print a story of several page of interest on the Internet, first page doesn't print at all except for a few lines without consequence and there even if all I want to print appears on the screen when I use the print preview.  My system uses Windows 7-64 bit with IE9.  This problem is more stressful for me, because so far I have not found a likely answer for her nor anyone else having experienced exactly the same thing.  Any help would be most appreciated.

There is something you can try.  Rather than delete the printer, that works fine everywhere else, you can set up another driver to use with IE9 just.  The way it works is that you point the printer on a generic printer driver that, hopefully, will not come into conflict with IE9.  You can find the instructions in this link below.  The linked document will say to use another driver, but if you have, I suggest using the Deskjet 990c printer driver.  This driver has the best chance of working.  Let me now what is happening.

  • Print partial printing Photoshop elements 12

Yesterday, after I changed 2 ink cartridges on my printer, I tried to print a picture of my documents using Photoshop elements 12. Just the day before I did this and everything was fine. ASOF yesterday, whenever I try to print from Photoshop, all I get is the central part of the image, losing another page of the book. I have lived about 20 now. It is a problem of Photoshop is not a printer problem. When I print e-mail, or with other software other than Photoshop, the image is printed. I have erased the memory of the PC, cleared out of the Organizer. I restarted the computer. I even did a system restore. Nothing helps. (Yes, I looked at the settings when the printer displays high there is no problem either.) Does anyone else have this problem

  • Why is-printing on my XP PC freezing

I have a strange problem with printing on my XP Pro PC over the last 2 weeks.
First of all, some of the details.

    I can't dualboot XP Pro SP3 or Win7 Pro 64-bit.
I have NO problem printing in Win7.

    It's a Dell all-in-one 948.

Printing will start and then stop half way through. I is not serious what I print or when I print since--either an application or a printer Test Page. Sometimes he'll get to 10% and sometimes, it will get to 60% and then stop printing. If I unplug the printer from the PC by pulling the USB cable, the printer ejects the partially printed page.
Occasionally (5% of the time) to complete the printer Test page. Otherwise, it gets stuck in the queue and I have to stop the print spooler to remove.
I tried different USB cables and different USB ports. My USB2 and USB3 ports use different firmware circuits on the motherboard.
I have restored my original XP CD spoolsv program.
I scanned my PC using 4 different anti-malware / anti-virus, programs and found no malware or viruses.
I tried a restore of the system 2 weeks ago and it has not solved the problem.
I swapped the position of the 2 modules memory on my motherboard.
I deleted the printer, rebooted and reinstalled the printer using the latest drivers.

I think I tried everything without success.

    Does anyone have and suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Excellent work.

Thank you very much for the comments.

  • OfficeJet Pro 862: Officejet Pro 8625 not print wireless

Printer worked and printed wireless for a few months and then all of a sudden it stopped being able to print wireless.

Everything seems correct, wireless connection, print test paper, etc.

But when I print a word file of MS office since T430 victory 8.1 portable, the printing pool show status 'Impression' and then disappeared. In the Officejet 8625 Panel, there is a "Print report" message flashed in very shot time. Then nothing happans.

I tried to reinstall the printer, use the HP printer help and HP print and Scan doctor, even check the status of the printer in Web Serive printer, everything looks Ok. In the embedded Web server, tools-> Magagement job-> Job Monitor, the stutas of work says 'done '.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Hey @ziyoo,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I would like to help you to solve the problem that you are experiencing when you try to print from your computer Windows 8.1 wireless to your HP Officejet Pro 8625 e-all-in-one printer today. Thank you for all the troubleshooting steps you tried before reaching out for support. Right now, I don't think the wireless printing problem that you are experiencing is caused by your printer or your network connection. On the contrary, I believe that the wireless printing problem is caused by your operating system.

Recently, Microsoft has released a hotfix to correct network printing issues in their Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 operating systems. These wireless printing problems consist of 'partial printing' and questions 'offline '. The questions seem to affect several brands and models of wireless printers. Can I have it please click here to download the fix. Once the site opens, please click on the available hotfix downloadbutton. Please follow the prompts on the screen to install the hotfix. Once the hotfix has been installed please try again to print.  If printing still does not work you need to restart your computer to allow the Hot Fix to take affect. Once your computer turns please try again to print.

Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. Good luck!

  • OfficeJet pro 8500 a: error Surface pro 3 when printing on HP printers

I bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 to replace my laptop. I loved except that I can't have the network printer as my old laptop. Because I'm stuck using your printer app, it has been a disaster. I get the error messages. The application can not find my documents, and then I get the error messages. Documents are partially printed, or I get a message that the printer is offline. Y at - it a patch or fix for this problem?

    Hello @manon1,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you are experiencing problems printing from your Surface Pro 3.

    I would like to help.

What I learned from the series Surface Pro, is that they are running a full version of the windows operating system.

This means that unlike the RT versions, you can install the software.

You should be able to install the same software that you can install on a laptop or desktop computer.

This would make it so that you don't need to use the application.

    HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-All-in-One Printer - A910a - software & drivers

If I chose the wrong model of 8500 a (there is at least 3) Please try the HP printer install wizard for Windows
