Partial view of the own website with Firefox, but ok with I.E.
Hello
I have a site that has always displayed well in Firefox and IE.
I have recently on the internet at home, but find that in Firefox, my site only shows four of the navigation buttons (there are twelve or more). The site loads perfectly on another pc... What is missing on my Firefox please?
Clean up the code in the left frame and get rid of the excessive number of tags strong . Then see how it is.

I downloaded LR6 to a new computer HP Pavilion. 10 windows and when I try to change in developing all that I get is a blue screen. Photos are .dng but when I click on the before / after button, I get a partial view of the picture and the part is still the blue light in the rear section. When in the module library, photography is able to be seen, but as soon as I click on the development, I see a flash of the photo and then the screen is all blue where I would like to see the photo. I opened both the old and the new computer and against each element and they are identical with the exception of the blue screen. I wonder if it has something to do with the magnifying glass?
Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance and uncheck CPU graph use.

I have the latest version of firefox to date (15/10/2014 v32) and I still get messages while on various sites Internet (Youtube, Google, Gmail), telling me that your Firefox is out of date and may contain a security risk.
I have not even this message on the support pages of mozilla.org?
I tried the subject: config reset the useragent (s) fix, but it does not work.
I tried browsing in safe mode and still get the error.Why this false/positive happening?
Thank you
Hello your useragent (information, the browser sends to websites to identify its version) - apparently by mistake - shows this:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20140923 Firefox/4.0.0; xs-A30GTmfXR3o;CkHZPf;
probably some kind of unwanted software has crashed it. Please refer to this article in order to reset the user agent settings in firefox:

I am running Ubuntu 14.04 64 bit with Firefox version 38 for Ubuntu
It is complected, and I tried to explain everything clearly.Today, I noticed a strange behavior.
I have several URL saved as .desktop files.I use webupd8.org as example.
The code for the exec in the desktop file is:
Code:Exec=xdg-open http://www.webupd8.org/
Today, I noticed that if I try to go to webupd8.org, or most of the other sites, by launching the .desktop file for this site, or by typing the url
Code:in the dashboard Firefox opens to a completely different site. The site that opens is a site that I set up for my children's grandparents to watch videos and see photos of the children. This Web site opens each time. I'm not be directed to a site at random each time. This is the case when I try to visit the webupd8.org OR one of several websites using .desktop file or enter the url you want in the dashboard. Whenever I went to my own domain.
It happens that I have also several sites registered in a reminder in the Firefox icon in the Launcher sidebar thing in Ubuntu.
In the case of the beast, the exec code is slightly different and it still responds as it should. In this case, I have:
Code:Exec = firefox-new-tab http://www.webupd8.org/
Also, if I change my default in opera browser, for example as .desktop files and entering the url directly in the dashboard work as it should.
To recap:
When Firefox is the default browser, enter a url in the dashboard or use a to surf to a desired site .desktop file causes my be redirected to my own domain name (which is hosted remotely and not on this computer).
If, however, I change the Exec command in the .desktop file
Code:Exec=xdg-open <url>
TO
Code:Exec = firefox-new-tab < url >
the .desktop file will open Firefox and go to the desired site.
If I change the browser by default Firefox to another browser, everything works as it should and has always so far. That is, with the Opera for example, both
Code:Exec=xdg-open <url>
and
Code:Exec = firefox-new-tab < url >
result in the browser by opening and going on the planned site. Typed a url in the dashboard is not a problem if the default browser is not Firefox.
Anyone seen this before? If so, how to solve it?
Thank you very much for your answers!
I checked the url of the home page in Firefox and it has been set at startpage.com, but then when I looked at the default programs in Ubuntu, I noticed that the default program for the web had been unintentionally configured to use a .desktop file that leads to t he admin for my Web site login page.I changed this back to Firefox and the problem was solved.

(Newish laptop so I'm not really familiar with operating systems (Win 8.1 I think) and more) Initially, my BBC homepage opened OK in Firefox, but after a period, he began to view a text version. This can be temporarily cured by restoring the default Firefox (Firefox / help / troubleshooting information / restore Firefox) but as soon as I click a link on the page of the BBC, it is up to the display of the text. Is there a way I can solve this problem. Other sites seem to be working properly.
It's a problem of missing style sheet. If you have modules like Adblock Plus installed, first of all, try to start Firefox with the disabled modules and check if the problem persists.
Otherwise,.
- Hold down the ALT key and press V to open the view menu. Open the submenu Style Page and make sure that "Basic Page Style" is selected.
- Clear the cache.
- Remove the cookies from the site in question.
- If the problem persists, see

View of the Virtual Machine with the host name of the filtering
Hello
I'm trying to get a specific view of the Virtual Machine from a hypervisor.
Basically, I tried to reuse an idea found on the script of cdromdisconnect.pl, an address in http://communities.VMware.com/message/1192878#1192878
The code would be
My $host_view = Vim::find_entity_view)
view_type = > 'HostSystem. "
filter = > {'name' = > $vm_hypervisor_name},
);My $host_moref = $host_view-> {mo_ref} {value};
$vm_view = Vim::find_entity_views)
view_type = > 'VirtualMachine.
filter = > {}
'runtime.host' = > $host_moref,'name' = > $vm_name,
},
);But the API said that "filtering is only supported for the Simple Type"
So I'm just the host_view and then call the property "-> virtual machine" to recover all the vm of the host, and then I loop inside the table to retrieve the name and the virtual machine, I am looking
But, is there not a smoother way to directly get the view of the entity of VM to a specific host?
Thank you
Give a try:
$host_view = Vim::find_entity_view (view_type-online "HostSystem", filter-online {'name'-online $host_name}) | Die "could not get $host_name!"
$vm_view = Vim::find_entity_views)
view_type-online 'VirtualMachine.
filter-online {'name'-online $vm_name},begin_entity => $host_view.
},

I am running Internet Explorer 8 and Firefox 3.6.6 and reflected on the following website www.finningley.org and on the home page, there is a picture of a plane that appears in the right place on Internet Explorer but it is on the text in Firefox. I tried to change the resolution, but Firefox still has the incorrect air while I E is very good. What can be done to fix this?
The overlap is caused by the fixed height of the container DIV:
<div style="border-style: inset; width:645px; height:127px">
If you leave the height, then it looks a lot better.
<div style="border-style: inset; width:645px;">
I don't know if you can make this gallery works properly with the scroll buttons.

I'm trying to uninstall Firefox 20 and get the latest version which I think is version 21? He won't let me unistall it when I go to menu start and hit on uninstall a program and choose Firefox. It shows 'Please wait while firefox is unistalling', but it never uninstall. The bar moves ever green. I tried to uninstall manually and then install firefox 21 but then firefox 20 returned to the top (after I installed the new version) with all my saved data. It seemed that he did until I uninstalled manually, or thought I did.
I don't want any of my data. Just a sweet page!I don't want just the homepage firefox, no google, yahoo, etc... I can't understand this. Apparently, I'm technically challenged thought!
If anyone can help, please let me now. I run Windows 7 pavilion laptop.
Personal data are stored in the profile, not in the program directory. If you uninstall, you can remove all the data with an extra parameter.

Can I synchronize the information to this firefox but didn't save anything on the hard drive?
Hiya,
I have a laptop at home that I have used for years. Of course, I've saved loads and loads of the saved passwords. I installed Firefox sync here.
On my computer at work, I've just matched the sync with my account. Its downloaded all of my info with success and I placed a master password on all my saved password just in case.My question is if, for increased security, it is a way in which every time I open Firefox, sync will access my information but then, immediately after the closure of Firefox it deletes just all my data on the hard drive of the PC?
That is, is there a way to not save any info on is the hard drive of the PC but access my details of the model home?Thank you
WilliamNo, Firefox Sync does not work in this way. Everything that you synchronize your work yo will stay there unless you delete the daily data.
IMO, a better solution would be to use Portable Firefox on a USB for your work PC. No data will be loaded on your work PC. everything will be on the USB key instead. When you eject the USB stick your Firefox data will be in your possession, nothing remains on the PC where it has been used.
http://PortableApps.com/apps/Internet/firefox_portable
Firefox Sync works between your PC and the 'portable' installed USB version.

OK, when I take a closer look, it seems that your useragent is replaced by some kind of adware or toolbar. Please refer to this article in order to reset the user agent of firefox settings, then it should work: sites say that Firefox is obsolete or incompatible, even if it's the latest version

I have windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I have Firefox 12.0 installed and have re-installed twice in the last week. I always get the prompt to upgrade, even here on the Mozilla site. I don't know what else to do?
Hello butch864, it seems that something is leading your user agent (the bit that identifies the browser and its version) and makes it appear as if you are still using firefox 3.0.11. Please try to reset all parameters of useragent as described here and see if this helps: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-firefox-outdated-or-incompatible#w_other-causes

Hello, I downloaded the latest version of firefox and then discovered that my system does not support. I'm on macOS10.4.11 and I would like to revert to the version that was working this morning. I realize that I win the asshole of the day, but can you help me? Thanks Garoline.
- Versions of Firefox 4 and later do not run a Mac PowerPC.
- Firefox 4 and later requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
- http://www.Mozilla.com/Firefox/5.0/system-requirements/
For a non-official Firefox 4 compatible version (TenFourFox) which works on Mac PowerPC with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8, you can consult:
Firefox 3.6.x (Mac OS X 10.4 and later versions) can be found here:
