passing the value of the item to another page

Hello!

I have a few questions while passing the value of the item to another presentation page and page refreshes.

I have a page (page n ° 2) with more areas where users can fill data in some articles (text box, popups,...), then I have a region report report and button to enter a new item. When users, click the button is it redirects to another page (page no. 21), where the user enters the values to other elements (popup, text box,...) then I have 3 buttons on this page ('Cancel', "create one", "create an and create another") and now I don't know how to handle the button ' create a. Action for the button "create one" I want is that when button "create one" is clicked in a table (in my DB) should be inserted some values of page 2 and certain values on page 21, then users should be redirected to page 2, where you can see everything that you see before the user has clicked 'enter a new element button' (so all the values in the elements of the page 2 must be visible) + in this report in the region must be updated (so you can see the inserted elements on page 21)

I hope you understand what I mean and you can help me. And sorry again for my English.

Kind regards
Dragan

You can create a collection and use it in this way:

IF apex_collection.collection_exists ("YOUR_COLLECTION") = TRUE THEN
apex_collection.delete_collection (p_collection_name-online 'YOUR_COLLECTION');
END IF;

apex_collection.create_collection (p_collection_name-online 'YOUR_COLLECTION');

-Value added to the collection
apex_collection.add_member ("p_collection_name-online 'YOUR_COLLECTION', p_c001 => ' value to save");

-get the value of collection
Select C001 in apex_collections where collection_name = "YOUR_COLLECTION";

Go through this link to learn more about the collections http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17556_01/doc/apirefs.40/e15519/apex_collection.htm

OR

as you say if its only id you want to perform, then simply create an item hidden in your page 2 =>: P2_ID_SO, then capture the value in your 2 page deal and use it in page 21.

    Hello

    You are missing the point in the end, it should be & P56_HW. (with the full stop), which is part of the syntax of substitution.

  • Copy the value of the item to another page of the apex in a field

    I have a main table and adds a new button.

    In my master table, there is a client code.

    For the moment, I have to insert the client code in this form.

    How is it possible to copy the customer ID, if I press the new button in the main table, if this customer code (value) will be copied

    Hello

    What version of APEX are you using?

    Solution for this should be simple.

    Just edit the button element. Assign it "Action when the button is clicked" "redirect to the page of this application.

    "Then set: Set on these elements ' with the name of the target element and the 'with these values" with the name of the source element.

    The same works also for reports. But instead of the nom_element, you must add the column name as: #COLUMN_NAME # for 'with these values.

    After showing the steps in the similar thread, I found this thread then re-post here.

    Pass the connection parameter to connected in portal Builder page

    Here are the steps to pass the parameter in a URL to another page:

    OR

    Sign in to your personalized Portal (say MyPortal1)

    http://127.0.0.1:8888 / webcenter/Portal/MyPortal1

    Click the settings (e.g. Pages & portals Actions)-> manage-> all settings

    It will take you to the page view of all of the current portal (i.e. MyPortal1).

    Then click attributes in the left pane, and you can create/edit/delete the custom attributes for the current portal on the right side.

    • Click Add an attribute and specify the following information:

    Attribute name = myvar

    This is the attribute that we will refer to any page using the EL "MyVar".

    Attribute value = #{param.myvarval}

    "Myvarval" is the name of the query parameter (i.e. suffix query param & myvarval = TestSuccess will be passed as part of the URL later)

    • Now, create a new page "TestPage" and add the element of HTML markup on the page using the composer.
    • In the Properties window, change the HTML markup element.

    Replace the existing value

    #{componentExtensionBundle.OUTPUT_TEXT_TEXT}

    with

    #{spaceContext.currentSpace.metadata.customAttributes ['myvar']}

    • Click apply and then click OK to close the pop-up window.
    • Click on save and view Portal

    • CHECK: Replace/change the URL the following OR open in a new tab in the browser

    Http://127.0.0.1:8888 / webcenter, portal, MyPortal1, TestPage ? myvarval = TestSuccess

    and you will see "TestSuccess' message in the"TestPage"rendered using the HTML markup component.

    This confirms passing the parameter to a page URL works as expected.

    Now, to add a link to the "TestPage" passing a parameter in the URL of the page in another page (Home Page say).

    • Now goto homepage, correct it in composer and add the hyperlink element. Click change to set the hyperlink in the Properties window.
    1. Set the title to display (i.e. the value of the title TestPage)
    2. Set the Destination URL by clicking on the search icon and choose "TestPage".

    Destination is defined with values that resembles

    /faces/Oracle/WebCenter/page/scopedMD/sf5926dd1_9e6a_45ab_a99c_d79fabb362c0/Page1.JSPX

    Add a suffix '& myvarval = TestWorks' to him.

    • Click apply & OK.
    • Click on save and view Portal
    • CHECK: Since your home portal or the home page, click on the link "TestPage" which brings you to the TestPage and you will see "TestWorks' message in the"TestPage"rendered using the HTML markup component.

    I hope it helps.

  • Run the report to PL/SQL with the branch to another page

    I have an application which, at various times, I run a PL/SQL procedure to perform an action, and then we must run a report while also navigating away from the current page. The actions are performed on a button click.

    I tried several methods, but for the life of me cannot get the system to do the two things (ie. run the report and the direction to another page). I tried to put in page 0 (to be executed after the treatment on the click of a button) a branch with a request line to print the report, followed by a branch to the other page (also to run after the treatment on the button click) - and only the branch page 0 runs in fact. Also tried a branch to the other page only, with the print in the request parameter request - but only runs the report, do not create a branch to the other page.

    I also tried to put the call to run the report in the PL/SQL code, using utl_http.start_request (url), but that came with a "Bad Request" error. Also tried to use the owa_util.redirect_url call, but also no chance.

    I'm pulling my hair out at this time, especially because I am under pressure to get the system in very short time.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    You can run queries report of their URL (f? p = & APP_ID.: 0: & SESSION.: PRINT_REPORT =)

    So one approach would be to
    The button click, call a JS function which

  • 1 use the Ondemand/recall process in order to perform the processing workflow (file selection box)
  • 2 open the report in a popup (from your IR page)
  • 3 redirect leaves the IR page to another page?
    ------
    Another approach:
  • 1. IR report submits the page
  • 2. in the PLSQL block, you do the treatment
  • 3. the branch redirects to a URL that would point to the report URL.
    OR
  • 3. do you have a JS onload which runs only when demand is demand for BUTTON and opens a page that points to the report.
    ------

    Still another way is to use htp.p in PLSQL block which made the treatment of workflow
    So your code PLSQL

    BEGIN
      --Do the workflow processing here
      --End workflow processing
      htp.p('');
    END;

  • An undeclared as global element value can be used in another page?

    4.2.1

    Hello

    If I have an P1_Select element that is a selection list. When the user selects a value, it runs a classic report in the same page that has a hyperlink to another page. When the user clicks on the hyperlink, it opens a new page that has a report and will use the value of P1_Select.

    My question is can I just use this value as a variable binding to Page 2? Or should I pass this value to an item hidden in two page when you set the link on the column of the report?

    The element P1_SELECT maintains state on several pages?

    Thank you
    Ryan

    When you set an item session state value and move to other pages, you can use this value.

  • Passing a value of item to another page via the button set to redirect to the page

    Hello

    I'm new to APEX and I develop an application to manage Oracle database user accounts.  I have a (8) page that has text elements for the user name and the database name.  I have a submit button (this works very well) who deliver... the ALTER USER statement to reset his password and unlock the account.  I have another button that if:

    1. get the value of username - P8_USERNAME
    2. assign to an element of application - FIND_USER_IN_DB
    3. redirect the page application - page 11

    The issue is that FIND_USER_IN_DB does not get filled and page 11 which is a simple report with the following query:

    SELECT *.

    OF valid_db

    WHERE username =: FIND_USER_IN_DB;

    How to achieve this?

    Thanks for your help.

    Steve

    A page redirect is actually nothing more than the rendering of an anchor tag or call apex.navigation.redirect. The link provided by these is generated when the page is rendered. Thus, when the page is rendered (in charge) and P8_USERNAME session state is NULL, then the link will be an empty value. There is nothing sad about the fact that when you change the value of the element on a page that session state will not change automatically and it's just about understanding session state.

    Let's say that you will present the session before the redirection if status point. Would it change anything? N ° the link, as I pointed out, has already been made, and no substitution of session state not be made on a redirect.

    You'd better be off by submitting the page via the button instead of a redirect. This will set the session state of your object to the desired value. You can then use a branch to redirect to the correct page setting the value of an element whose state of session of P8_USERNAME. You can even choose to use a process or a calculation to set the value of the application instead of by a link element, so that you can keep the application not manipulable by the user element.

  • Set the value to the field on another Page

    Hello

    I'm still a little new to this, through forums, that I managed to learn a lot of things. But I met another difficulty. I have

    I created a form in LiveCycle with two pages. On page 1, the fees are calculated by multiplying Field1 * Field2 and by adding the value of another. I managed to accomplish this with the following code:

    This.rawValue = Field3.rawValue + (Field1.rawValue * Field2.rawValue)

    As I said, that seems to work.

    To Page 2, I have a drop down list with five options. In the object > value tab I checked specify point values but has not changed a thing. If the value of the option range from 1 to 5.

    When option 5 is selected I want to set a value for a field that is Page 1. I tried with the following script:

    If (this.rawValue = 5) {}

    Page1.positionedSubform.field3.rawValue = 149;

    } else {}

    Page1.positionedSubform. Field3.rawValue = 0;

    }

    I'm now writer at all, but it seems to work somehow. Not that I want to :-).

    When I saw the PDF that it auto sets the value of Field3 and the drop to 149 field.

    I want to first Field3 on page 1 to 0 by default (entered in the object > field value tab 3) and set it to 149 if you have selected the option with the value of 5 in the drop down list on page 2.

    Any ideas?

    (Sorry for the bad explanation, don't know how to explain it better is if)

    Hello

    Did you use the calculate event in the drop-down list? If so, move the script to the output of the dropdown event.

    Published by: user5381160 on August 12, 2010 20:01

    You should also consider dragging operation executeWithParams on your workflow and of wiring to occur before your page instead of in the definition on the page itself - so it is more clear what is happening and is the approach recommended for 11 g applications. When drag-and you - drop operation, you can use the dialog box bind the parameter to your page flow - scope variable by providing the good EL there.

    There is no expression Groovy in the model layer to access the workflow variable scope page (which is in the controller layer) because this would violate the separation of concerns inherent in an MVC application.
