  It is probably a trivial question, but I'm new to TestStand. All I'm doing is updated to a variable in Labview and then pass this value in a local variable Teststand. A simple test that VI is attached. I get no error and it seems correct, but when I followed the variable via TS watch display is not updated. Also I am not able to read the variable outside TS. It is probably a trivial thing, I'm doing wrong, but I'm stuck.

• Table does not work correctly between LabView and TestStand

  I'm doing a TestStand program that reads data from a LabView VI.

  If I run the VI in LabView, it works perfectly well and generates a table with 18 points in length, the first 3 are numbers between 0 and 10 and the rest being-1 as I intended. Re-run the VI causes the re - initialize correctly and I get a new table that also meets my specifications.

  When I run the VI of TestStand, it works fine once, producing a table with 18 points, the first 3 are numbers between 0 and 10, and the rest is-1.

  If I run the VI in TestStand once again it increases the length of array in 18 each time. In so doing, it fails to write the new 3 numbers and just add - 1 in table 18 times. If I restart TestStand will work fine once more, he repeats the error if I re - run the VI. I don't understand why this is happening.

  I have re-product the error in a separate VI and the order, and I have attached an example in this post. The VI contains all the necessary information (if not, please say so and I will correct it), and TestStand sequence is configured to put all results, I would find useful in the report (as additional results).

  Your problem is your VI.   Specifically the comment nodes.  They initialize on the first call.  TestStand retains the VI in memory.  So when the VI is called again, the comments always nodes have their last value.  You will get the same results if you have VI your ArrayBuild.vi twice appealed.

  The way you use the feedback nodes, they really replace with Shift Registers.  I like your comment nodes, but since you pass the value of the node in the loop, the SHIFT registers are much more appropriate.  Just make sure you initialize your Shift Registers.

  The example below is a very rough diagram of what I am triying to do but is there a way to do it with cfajaxproxy or something? Can we post or a link to an example please?

  The easiest way is to use tags around your script tags cfoutput.  It will work for simple variables.  For tables, queries, etc., toScript() or cfwddx would be useful.  As far as I know, they do the same thing.

  I'm moving one popup to the other variables. It works fien if I spend bvariable of main application as soon as I'm moving from variable popup to popup window it does not work here is what I am trying ro:

  I have faced this kind of problem and solved using 'Public static var '.

  Just, you declare a public static variable in your class Popup. Then you can directly set the value to this variable as,

  ClassName.StaticVariableName = value;

  In your case,.

  say PopUp2.mxml or PopUp2.as

  For Global Variables just assign a value to that, and it's initialization. Or you can use

  DEFAULT_VALUE(NULL, 'GLOBAL.');
  

  Make sure that you assign the appropriate value to the global variable before opening the new form.

  And for the parameter, try.

  Hi, I am currently working on a rock, paper, scissors project in my class oracle. I was wondering if an oracle form to pass variables between them. I created a login form, and I would once a user logs on to change his user name to one opponent text fields username in the form of game. Is it possible and in this case you may be able to show me an example of passing variables between Forms? Thank you

  You can use the Globals for this purpose. I mean in your login form when your will enter its correct information then and it press OK to the newspaper by so you can for example store their username in the GLOBAL variable

  This global variable, you can access a form any of the current session.

  IAM trying to send data to Labview via ithernet in a product that already have in c# .net. This means that data send LabVIEW must be posted in c#. Thus the Labview will act as the server and the product in c# will be serving the customer. I have serached in the forums to make the connection between Labview and c#. I saw a tutorial to make dlls in labview, in what they explained to hold tools > Build Application or shared Library.But I can't find in my tools although I version2009 of professional development.

  Can someone give me some instructions to send Labview data and display it in c#. IAM attaching the VI Server I made. The client in c# is a great product that has already done by others in c#. I have very less experience of programming in c#. Can someone give me some instructions or attach a few tutorials to make the connection between Labview and c#.

  You can work around this limitation by putting your orders and clusters indicators. Then set the cluster to be required or recommended to indicate whether contained controls are entered or parameters, just normal.

  so I thought to transmit the selected user code c# UserInterface test form to master Test.seq.

• Queues of LabVIEW and TestStand

  Hello

  I have a VI that uses several loops/queues to acquire data from a data logger and write the data to a csv file.

  What I want to do is start this TestStand VI and run data acquisition/writing until certain conditions require the data logger to be returned to power.

  Is it possible to pass a reference to the queue of the VI running somehow to TestStand and update the queue of TestStand to stop/start datalogging necessary?

  Maybe there's a better way to do it?

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  TestStand access not directly a queue in LabVIEW.  TestStand and LabVIEW do not share an instance of the application.

  I Assume you called the QMH asynchonously so that the Launcher ends while the QMH continues to run

  Pass the reference queue to TestStand (U32) and call a specific "Enqueue for MySpecific Queue.vi" LabVIEW Module with the appropriate ref and data.  All this presupposes the QMH remains in memory.

  This example gets to be excessively complex, so I tend to use the Action with TestStand engines.  Loading and unloading options need attention though as long as the shift register (and, therefore, private data) leave no memory until you want to close the three-year

But I could not find a way to set some global variables between screen-change (push and pop/back).   Hello! I'm new to flash actionscript and I make a small game right now. I thought to create separate movieclips for each level of play and their assigned separate classes is cleaner and easier to code.

  For the purposes of making a game, I would separate levels of executives.

  variables will carry an image to the image.

  Use gotoAndStop (frame_label) to switch between levels

  * Make sure you use stop(); on the first image to prevent bike between the frames.

  * You can make the frames between each level that has the code "gotoAndStop(previous level)" to prevent people to hit 'play' on the swf file and the cycling through your levels.

  You can also search for SharedObjects as a method of storage of variables even after that the swf file is closed.
