  First this... avoid this tech Rogers like the plague. He has no idea what he's talking about. All what he told you is simply not possible. Once MEP unlocked, a BB device can blocked at the factory. Nothing of what you have done or the facilities of any OS can relock a BB.

  I'd rather a complete security on the Device Wipe:

  Otherwise, a ResetToFactory WIPE:

  After each one, put it in the SIM card and switch on the device, and then make sure that the voice is through Rogers. Only then start to worry about getting all the data to work (if you subscribe BIS, in other words).

  BBs are very secure - only the password created by the user can unlock the BB. There is no password 'master' or 'ignore' to do so... only the password created by the user can do.

  How to save all contacts? I have contact 1100 on my device. Which is 900 save via yahoo 200 contact or save through gmail. I looked on my yahoo contact only 300 contact was sync with my yahoo mail. I have try the backup via Desktop Manager, but only 200 contact that sync with my gmail had arrived at my computer and has no contact to yahoo. What should I do?

  For backup of your contacts from your Yahoo account, you will need to disable wireless synchronization.

  Thanks for the tips.  I disabled the password to my phone and now I can use the software.  That won't be a problem, turn it off for my synch.  I'm thinking of getting a new phone and wanted to back up my data before buying.   If you talk about the device password then simply change SIM card will not disable the device password a user defined here device. But if we enter too bad password (default is 10) then our device will begin a wipe removing all user data of this unit and must start all over again.

  But if it's BlackBerry ID password, then it will be different! If we go in too bad password for our BlackBerry ID then it locks us, first for 15 minutes and so on.   Hello. Is there a way around this headache? I forgot my BBID IDs I needed to purchase an app. As indicated, I opened a session on the Web site on my PC and reset my login and my password. Online, I can sign with no problem however my laptop seems to expect the old username and passoword so I keep getting locked. The only option seems to be a security wipe. Is there really no other way to change data BBID on my mobile? I'm not willing to risk a wipe of security that the phone is still usable.   If reset you, which means it's now a new BBID then, Yes, you will have to do a security wipe to use the new BBID. It will eventually catch up to you and you will need to perform the wipe.  BBID is used to BlackBerry Protect, BBWorld, BBM and more. If you never remove the sim card and use another sim card, you will also need. There may be more that too I don't think off the coast of the hand.
