Password for the remote access connection file
Deal all,I have enough space in my production machine to keep rman backup.so, i thought to install the client software oracle in a client computer and then configure ramn backup location as long as the client computer.
But the problem is that I have not the target database sys user password. So, I thought to recreate the file password of the target WITHOUT STOPPING database down THE TARGET DATABASE.
orapwd file = password = password strength location = entered y = 30
Now, if I execute the above command without closing the database, if it couse no problem...?
Thanks and greetings

After the remote access connection, network printers disconnected
I hope someone can help me here.
In Windows Vista, whenever I would give the remote access connection to my PC at home, my default printer (which was be a shared printer on the network out of my server) will prepare its default value. It was boring but easily fixible.
I've since upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and I'm having a related problem. Now every time I connect remotely to my home PC, my default printer (same network shared printer - HP LJ 4000) disconnects, and it only comes back online after a reboot.
It is a point of pain is huge for me because I usually 20 + / applications windows running at a given time and a restart takes 30 minutes out of my day to get back to where I was.
Any help would be appreciated. Jeff Balcerzak

Why can't I start Remote Access Connection Manager
I am not able to connect to internet using my 3G Broadband. I try to resolve the status of the remote access connection manager to "on the road", but the error message invites up to said "Windows could not start the service on local computer remote access connection manager. Error 1068: the dependency service or group could start. "I find the dependencies are Remote Access Auto Connection Manager, routing and remote access, Sharing (ICS) to connect Internet. I tried to put those 3 to "started", but was able to start also.
HelloYou must make sure that the underside of services are started and restart your computer and check if the problem is resolved. To start the services.1. click on start.
2. type Services.msc in the search box and click on enter.Note: the common addiction for "Remote Access Connection Manager" and 'Remote Access Auto Connection Manager' is 'Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol Service'.Make sure that you check the properties of service no matter what you try to start, then click the dependency tab and make sure that you select the dependency registered under this service services. The dependency of 'Remote access connection manager' services include:a. secure Socket Tunneling Protocol Service
b. phone
c. Plug-and-Play
d. remote Procedure Call (RPC)
e. DCOM Server process Launcher
f. RPC end point mapperMake sure that you try to start the Connection Manager Service dependency services automatic remote access as well.Method 2:I recommend you to update the drivers and see if it makes a difference. You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the assword or provide confirmation.
2. in Device Manager, locate the device, and then double-click the device name.
3. click Driver tab, then click on set to update driver and follow the instructions.Try to follow the link provided to update a hardware driver that is not working properly and check the question below.

I bought myself a new smart phone, the 1st step is to connect to my Wi Fi based computer, I need to enter a password on the phone to connect to my WiFi.
I do not know the password, with a quick search I find instructions how to find the password. (Step 1) click icon Mac HD 2) click on requests
(3) locate and double-click connection Linksys icon I do not have this icon, I searched my applications and you do not have it. So I can't finish the 1st stage
to set up my new smart phone. What should I do? Do I have to download this app?
Not sure what you mean by 'computer based Wi Fi' so what follows cannot help. However, if you have a router Wi - Fi and your Mac is connected then see the following:
Open Keychain Access on Mac (you can find that by using the Spotlight - control space research), click System in the sidebar and then click passwords in the sidebar, double-click the name of the wi - fi router, click on the box in front to show the password, enter login password of your Mac for your username if you are prompted.

don't remember my password for the internet connection
I don't remember my password for the internet connection, I have a wireless router and when I try to connect my iPad 2 to the wi - fi connection it asks a password which I don't remember. is it the same of it discover or to withdraw?
You are the person who initially set the password for your wireless (WPA or WPA2?) or it's a long string of characters (WEP)? --> who is he? WEP, WPA or WPA2?
You need to connect to your wireless router and reset Of course - you will need the router password (no password wireless.)
Or - you can reset the router (according to the owner's manual) and set it up again.
