Password, property

Is there a way to get the password for 'managed' TestStand?

Password, property

Syntax

User. Password

Data type

String

Goal

Specifies the password for the user.

Remarks

When you set this property, TestStand scrambles the password before storing it in their own country. When you get this property, TestStand returns the password encrypted for you, to prevent users to programmatically access passwords without authorization.

Thank you

Brian

I see the Enigma.  They are not willing to allow the currently logged in windows user to connect to TS? You may just have TS connect automatically to Windows user.

Another option is that if you work in an environment where they have badges and then you can analyze their badge number.  It's a little safer.

The last option and that you'll probably have to implement, is to create your own dialog box in LabVIEW or another language.  Then in this language, check the resistance of the password.  Then, once they get finally a 'good' password then you go ahead and set in TestStand.  You would create your own system of user right management dialogue here.  There is an example of deleting to create here: \Examples\CreateDeleteUsers\CreateDeleteUsers.seq

It might be useful to start.

In any case, hope this helps,

  • Last game of password on the Web Console

    We migrate to ARS 7 and do not want more to deploy the MMC on user/operators. They must use the web console.

    I have a request of operators: they want the equivalent of the "Additional account information" tab to the web console.

    I customize the form of user properties by adding a new entry different on this subject Advanced account info tab.

    Now I'm stuck on how to add the last set password property. Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

    PS: I found an old post about it on the forum, but the link provided on the resolution is no longer available.

    Concerning

    Active calculates the field 'Password last Set' based on the PWDLastSet attribute.

    This value is stored to the whole time format, also known as "LDAP/FILETIME.

    For example, 131167085140000000 is at the present time from Friday, August 26, 2016 18:08:34 GMT

    For this display in a user-friendly format, you would have a solution to script and store the result in a virtual attribute as a string. This virtual attribute would then be displayed.

    The script itself should be simple enough (unless you want to enter in the zone of fantasy and conversions to DST - which can be quite annoying), and you can have triggered it by a workflow so that updates to the PWDLastSet automatically trigger the script, which in turn will update your virtual attribute. You may also need to run a script to fill existing users with a value for the new attribute. PowerShell has several solid time conversion methods and would be a good choice for this application.

  • Password textfield return do not text

    I have a defined textfield:

    TextField {
      id: passwordField
       text: password
       hintText: qsTr("Password") + Retranslate.onLanguageChanged
       inputMode: TextFieldInputMode.Password
    }

    password is a defined above, property to access the text from the outside:

    property string password

    I want to save the password on click of a button and check empty values:

    if ("" != passwordField.text) {
      //call save in c++
      saveToast.show()
    } else {
      console.log("passwordField.text" + passwordField.text)
    }

    The field displays the correct value, a number of ' *' equal to the password set, but the record still does not go to check and on the console, the result is empty:

    Debug: passwordField.text

    I can enter any text I want in the field, the text attribute seems to be always empty.

    Well, given the conditional, you are only running when it's empty, so don't expect to see anything other than 'passwordField.text' in the console.

    Why it's empty, it is quite another question... You seem to have forced the text always correspond to the value of the property 'password '. I think that what you really wanted is to set this property as "password property alias: passwordField.text. At this point, I expect things would work.

  • BPM 11 g: call a secure web service

    Hi all

    I need to invoke a web service secured a BPM process. I do the following

    1. to add a reference, I added the customer strategy security "oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy' using option set up political WS on the reference. I also added oracle/log_policy to see SOAP requests being generated.

    2. I added the below properties in the composite.xml slot of the reference binding.ws

    < name = "oracle.webservices.auth.username property" type = "xs: String" "

    much = 'false' override = "may" > SomeUserName < / property >

    < name = "oracle.webservices.auth.password property" type = "xs: String" "

    Override = 'may' many 'false' = > SomePassword < / property >

    But I get an exception during the invocation

    MustUnderstand headers: [{http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wss-wssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd} Security] are not included

    Also the SOAP request sent to the service of reference I think newspapers don't have the password or a usernametoken anywhere. What else must be configured or set to invoke the secure web service.

    Thank you

    Hi all

    I got it working to create a new key - basic.credentials - in oracle.wsm.security map the credentials of the domain. You can check this link for the steps.

  • Call WebService Imaging of BPEL is a failure

    Hello

    My Env is the last 11g 11.1.1.8.

    I'm calling the Services Web Imaging (http://Host/imagerie/ws/ApplicationService? wsdl) deployed on another Weblogic of Bpel server. When I tried to call this web service with credentials of security he could not because of the issue of access.

    I tried to call the following steps Imaging web service.

    1. Additional Oracle/wss_http_token_client_policy for the Imaging Web service reference.
    2. Add these properties in Composite for the reference as a link below.

    Hello

    I don't think that it is a failure because of the issue of access, I think that it is a failure because one of the parties is NOT configured to use WS - AT (WS-Atomic Transactions)...

    MustUnderstand headers: [{http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/10/wscoor} CoordinationContext] are not included

    Why did you add it?

    Type = "xs: String" much = "false" > MEDIA

  • How to authenticate using the credential key external services?

    Hello

    I developed a bpel webservice that uses external Web services that is protected by user name and password.

    So in my composite.xml, I put the 2 lines within the reference tag to this service.

    < name = "oracle.webservices.auth.username property" many = "false" type = "xs: String" > ssa.gen < / property > "

    < name = "oracle.webservices.auth.password property" many = "false" type = "xs: String" > * < / property > "

    But as password continues to change, I need some other way to authenticate this webservice without giving the password.

    We use csf - key here? as below:

    < property name = "csf - key" type = "xs: String" much = "false" > ssa.gen < / property >

    How to register a new name of user and password for this key? I need the proper code syntax to be all in composite.xml and also how to map a user to a key?

    Kindly help.

    You can configure the keys to the csf as follows.

    Console EM-> select the SOA domain (under the WebLogic domain name), click right-> select Security-> credentials.

    Create map-> name: oracle.wsm.security (if it does already exist).

    Select the map-> create a key.

    Specify the key name that you want to use (for example, "usernamekey" for example), choose the Type of password and enter the password and save.

    Now you can use this key in the key property of csf for the obligatory corresponding reference in composite.xml - usernamekey.

  • How to use the Credential object?

    I had an obligation to create a password confirmation form in vCO. I detailed what I came here:

    http://www.jonathanmedd.NET/2015/01/presenting-a-password-confirmation-form-in-VCO-VRO.html

    It has been suggested in the comments that:

    "A better solution would be to use an entry of type 'credential' (which includes natively password confirmation checking)."

    Although the credential object solves the problem of the confirmation of the password very well, she introduced a new show that I fight to manipulate its contents when you work in the workflow using as input.

    I tried to use the credentials object once before, but he had problems with the password property. Once the workflow, the password property is not currently available. The API Explorer for the password property indicates "[obsolete] passwords are not available in the script". For example, I want to use the credentials with the "Execution of the Guest program" workflow, I need to provide a username (String) and the password (SecureString), but just picking on the properties username and password of the credentials object does not. I can confirm in the workflow using the method checkPassword that the password matches a known value. However, when you try to use the password property and assign a different workflow requiring password authentication always fails.

    Does anyone have examples of use of the object of identification information on the work plan with the password in the workflow in script tasks or other work streams?

    Thank you :-)

    I didn't know that this was the case.

    It was definitely a fix to avoid someone making a server.getCredential () in a workflow to steal user passwords.

    If the credential object can only serve to set methods taking as parameter.

  • ATG AutoLogin feature

    Hi all

    I finished with the autoLogin for profile feature we have in our repository,

    My Question is, if a profile checks in the autoLogin feature, means that he agrees to autoLogged in the future.

    But in the next time, when it comes, here, that verifies that this particular profile has put oneself for autoLogin... ??

    I mean, I would like to know the level of components that makes this review. ?

    Please keep your thoughts!

    Kind regards

    Sandeep-

    Hi Sandeep

    Profile autologin property is used to identify users back to your site, who are already registered. If securityStatus can be used in the case where a user attempts to access a page that is quite restrictive to check the type of audit, the user has already crossed and based on that you want to allow the user access to this page restricted or not. I hope that you would have gone through with explanation autologin and securityStatus respectively to

    Oracle, ATG trade Web - authentication

    The following example shows how to configure a servlet authentication and authenticator:

    AuthenticationServlet.properties:

    $class=atg.servlet.pipeline.BasicAuthenticationPipelineServlet realm=Dynamo6.0 authenticator=Authenticator nextServlet=SomeHandler

    Authenticator.properties:

    $class=atg.servlet.pipeline.BasicAuthenticator passwords=\         admin=jjxr2,\         hank=angry

    In this example, the authentication servlet sends a request to SomeHandler If the request is authenticated by a name and password is located in the passwords property of the authenticator. The realm property specifies what Kingdom must be displayed to the user in the window asking you name and password.

  • Error returned on the creation of jpa entities

    Hello

    I use jdeveloper 11.1.1.7 and I work with a simple test of a line in a table.  I created the Jpa entities as described on

    Oracle JDeveloper 11 g Release 2 tutorials - creating a JPA Application and

    Component EJB 3.0 exposed as a service Web using Oracle JDeveloper: create a simple component EJB, he exposed as a Web service...

    which deals with creating a real line of the table.

    I run and I get a huge list of methods that are impaired and an error.  It does not load the data, which is excellent, but I can't use it in production with all the errors produced!

    It's pretty bad, considering most of the code was generated using the wizards...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for the reply.  I also understand that if you put the weblogic.jar in the classpath of the project it works!

  • How to get properties

    file application. Properties contains the following information:
    -application.properties-
    jdbc.driverClass = oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver
    jdbc.jdbcUrl=jdbc\:oracle\:thin\:@localhost\:1521\:orcl
    JDBC.user = username
    JDBC. Password =...

    However, I have a file hibernate.cfg.xml, which has
    < property name = "connection.url" >
    JDBC:Oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:ORCL
    < / property >
    < name "connection.username property" = > user name < / property >
    < name = "connection.password property" >... < / property >

    How to get together to hibernate.cfg.xml and application.properties database login information?

    Thank you.

    1.), you should really ask your questions of spring in a spring forum
    2.) property files on the classpath for environment variables is not a good idea, because you have to redeploy the application to change those.
    (3.) If you want to deploy on some tomcat for example of container and configure a data source (as suggested) and let your applications use the connection through the configured jndi resource settings then point your hibernate. cfg.XML to the jndi by using the property resource

  • Cannot process the SOAP element wsse header: child 'Security' with ' mustUnder

    Hello everyone.

    Have created project in Jdeveloper. In this one, I have an external reference for Siebel Service.
    Composite, for the service of external reference (Siebel) I added a security that is strategy * "oracle_wss_username_token_client_policy."
    [Right click on SiebelService-> configure WS Policy-> Security tab, I selected above political]

    So other than that I added the property for the policy
    _ _
    < name = "oracle.webservices.auth.username property" type = "xs: String" "
    much = 'false' override = "may" > SADMIN < / property >
    < name = "oracle.webservices.auth.password property" type = "xs: String" "
    much = 'false' override = "may" > SADMIN < / property >
    _ _
    But his return following error,
    Cannot process the SOAP element wsse header: child 'Security' with 'mustUnderstand = "1" ' (SBL-EAI-08000)

    It really pushed me in development.
    I really need help. Help me on this issue.

    Thanks in advance,
    Magali

    Cannot process the SOAP element wsse header: child 'Security' with 'mustUnderstand = "1" ' (SBL-EAI-08000)

    The problem is next to Siebel. He is not able to understand the security mechanism used on the side of the SOA. There are two options-

    1 use the custom policy and affirmation to the side SOA (please refer to metalink - 1419373.1 note)
    2. write your own custom message handler class and use it next to Siebel to negotiate the safety deficiency

    Kind regards
    Anuj
