  Another and easier and safer way to achieve this is:

  Click on start Orb (previously called Start button) > Control Panel. Select the user accounts and family safety > user accounts > manage another account.

  Click on create a new account. Type a name for the account, and then select the type of account as an administrator.

  Please do not place a password for this new account as the person you are donating to will need to know the password for this account in case you set a password.

  Click on start Orb / start button and now click on the > button the arrow next to the option key stop. Select Log off.

  Now on the home screen, log in using the account newly created. It will take 5-10 minutes to prepare the user account - what is expected.

  Now, once logged into the newly created account, click on start Orb (previously called Start button) > Control Panel. Select the user accounts and family safety > user accounts > manage another account.

  Select your old user account. Select the option 'delete account '. You will be asked if you want to keep files or non - select the button 'delete files '. Click on the "delete account" button to confirm the operation.

  Now, all your personal data recorded in that the old account has disappeared. However, it can still be recovered by data recovery software.

  I do not understand why you have problems with re-setup because it has nothing to do with your original administrator password. Your copy of Windows came pre-installed on your PC or did you buy a boxed copy and install it yourself?
