• Paste the html container at the precise place?

  I have an HTML container that I repeat with slightly different content at the bottom of the page.

  Hi people, this is not strictly a question about Dreamweaver, but as I had the chance to find great help here in the past, I hope someone can take pity on me and share some knowledge about HTML.

  My client wants me to send an email campaign that looks like this: http://qtnz.co.nz/ct-intro-letter that I would normally a MS Word mail merge, but it uses a Mac, then it will not be translated. That of why I need to use a CRM or similar to create an account with his e-mail address.

  So far, I tried Zoho, VTiger, and Mail Chimp and pasted the code from the page of DW (as link) in the setting of the HTML Source in the relevant application. It looks perfect on the preview, but when I send e-mail, none of the styles or images are included.

  VTiger has a function to insert a background image, but it is set to repeat x and y which completely destroyed my layout and it does not accept the background-repeat: no-repeat; instruction.

  All three aid offices is located in zones where it is still the weekend so I can not get the support of their directly.

  I have such limited knowledge of HTML codes, but maybe there's something obvious in my code that someone here can recognize and guide me on?

  If not, anyone know of a forum where I can get advice on HTML and paste it into the e-mail program?

  Just an update in case anyone is interested. I solved this problem by creating a model in Mailrox and then exporting to Campaign Monitor, then tweak a few settings in HTML to get the background image and custom recipient field.

  There were many export and re-import, but finally it seems to work.

We receive a complaint from students, when they copy and paste the contents of the PDF document, the 'F' word is not copied in some reports. What could be the reason?   Yes, you can add the style setting in the element. There are many free resources for the solution with style like stackoverflow etc.

• CTRL + S changes HTML content

  When I press ctrl + s (or navigate to the menu item to 'save'), the browser saves the page to a file. This is the expected behavior, and I love it! However, it seems to change the HTML content.

  For example:

  If I save a page that contains the links like this:

  < a href = "google.com" > < /a > Google

  They turn out like this:

  "< a href ="google.com"> < /a > Google.

  Do not see the difference? The quotes to change of single-phase double. Although often it is not serious, I'm performing a regex search on the file and I downloaded it so I wouldn't have to go search for it on the server each time. It would be nice if there was an option to create an exact copy of the page.

  Is it available? Or could it be created?

  If you use the "Web Page, complete" Firefox needs to change the source because that link to files saved locally must be corrected and therefore Firefox links formats.
  If you use "Web Page, HTML only" while Firefox does not need to do.

  Scenario: I have a file HTML bundled with my cod file, and when the browser field is called, that the HTML content must be displayed in the field of the browser instead of seek it from the internet.

  Thanks for all the suggestions, guys...  They really helped me sort this one out... Just to sum everything up, there are 3 ways to make the HTML content in the browser field.

  1. Using the "cod://ProjectName/FileName.html" as the url for establishing the HttpConnection where the name of the file is placed in my project .cod file.
  2. Provide the HTML in a string, convert it to a ByteArrayOutputStream, encode it with the Base64OutputStream and challenges in the form of url for the opening of HttpConnection.
  3. Simulate an implementation of the HttpConnection and use it instead of the original HttpConnection. (However, this only works for static HTML content, it is to say no links or references should be included in this happy)

  All of these solutions have worked with JDE 4.0.0 and I used the BrowserContentManagerDemo and the BrowserFieldSampleApplication (packed in the JDE) as reference implementations.

  I hope this helps everyone who crosses with the same requirement...

  Does anyone know how to do this now?  I used to be able to highlight the address bar, then select 'cut' in the Edit button and then 'paste' a link in an email.  Now, with my new computer, the editing commands are gray.

  1. what web browser do you use?

  2 is the issue limited to a particular Web site?

  3 did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  To work around the problem, you can right-click on the address bar and of the copy and then the same way with the right button and Paste the link in an email.

  I scratched the name of the product, the product url, product img src, on a csv file that I saved then in a microsoft excel file, and then IMPORTED IN DREAMWEAVER.

  But instead of display the img src HTML it displays as raw html text.

  Because it has more than 200 lines, it would be a lot of your time to go to the file Insert HTML and copy and paste the html code in the cell.

  As I do with many other sites so that it is not very effective at all.

• Sometimes web error message from the client / popup that lies behind the HTML view

  At times the web client error / popup hiding behind making the full background grey out and highlighting HTML display the HTML view. At this stage the actions behind the HTML code / above the screen HTML is not clickable, which forces the user to refresh the entire page (in case of a popup). Please find attached the screenshots. I tried to find if it is a known problem, but found no references linked to this document from VMware. Can someone please tell me, if there is no work around for this problem.

  Details of the environment:

  • Browser: Google Chrome (latest version)
  • OS: Windows 2007 and 2 k 8

  Steps to reproduce:

  • Open an extension point that contains the HTML content.
  • Leave it for awhile until the point the web client session, timeout occurs (or) to disable the WebClient service / vcenter server service (Note: this one is not always reproducible.)
  • Try to perform some action less content, it will display the html error message / see the popup behind the html code.

  Hi, I am using the HTML content but a problem.

  I am creating interactive content where you can fill in some fields (exercises), I hava a javascript file where to check your answers and whether exercise is good or bad. The problem is when you tap the fied to fill. I had a div with a width of 500px avoid the content to scroll, but his does not work. When you touch it, you can scroll horizontal and vertical.

  Can someone helo me with this problem. Is there a way to correct the content in the InDesign container. PS. I tried the scale to fit.

  IIRC, you need make the largest SWF, together, it's wmode to transparent, and the content below negative margin ghetto it upward in the swf file.
