Patch KB3002286 fails 0x800706BE
Try to install hot KB3002286 of difficulty on a W7 Pro SP1 computer, all updates installed.
Installation initializes, update begins, progress bar goes to 100% in 5 minutes approximately and crashes for hours...
Same result on both machines, several attempts on a single machine.
WU watch update failed with 0x800706BE.
RPC service is running.
Run the update cleanup utility, disabled AV....
No this isn't my personal computer, it's one of my accounts, that I manage like a MS Partner...
It is a forum for specific consumers. (I know not at all home users who would know about this fix, not to mention trying to install it.)
You will find more appropriate support in Win7 IT Pro-specifiques forums or, since you're a MS Partner, partner forums.
Good luck!

Run the system update tool
System resources, such as file of data, even in the data memory and registry data, can develop inconsistencies during the lifecycle of the operating system. These contradictions may be caused by various hardware failures or can be caused by software problems. In some cases, these inconsistencies can affect the Windows Service store, and they can cause software updates not do not work. The system update tool attempts to resolve these inconsistencies.

Hello
It seems that you need to manually restore the "1705401" patch and then install the Patch "20423535'. "
You must install (patch (be sure to download the patch for the version 11.1.1.7.7 and not 11.1.1.7.0) '1705401' on top of the Patch 20423535 (SOA Bundle Patch 11.1.1.7.7).)
The Doc ID 1437223.1 have clear references to install the patch "170541" after you apply the hotfix 20423535.
B2B_DATA_STORAGE table grows. Orphaned records after the dismissal from the post of thread (Doc ID 1437223.1)
It will be useful.

Issue of patching: OPatch failed with the error code 1
I'm trying to patch an AIX server which has 11.1.0 and 11.2.0.3 installed software. He has a 11.2.0.3 current database.
I have the cd to $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch and ran lsinventory opatch command and got the following result:
> lsinventory opatch
OPatch Version: 11.1.0.10.2
YES Version: 11.2.0.3.0
The OPatch version is not applicable to the current version of YES.
Because YES Version begins with 11.2, go to "My oracle Support" and get right O 11.2 patch . *. *. * from the patch 6880880 , version version 11.2.0.0.0 and the appropriate platform.
OPatch failed with the error code 1
I know that it uses incorrect opatch because when I run that opatch, it displays:
/U01/app/Oracle/product/11.1.0/Db_1/opatch
and it should be
/U01/app/Oracle/product/11.2.0.3.0/Db_1/opatch
Could someone guide me through the process of how to solve the problem please? I am new to patching
Solved by the setting $PATH variable

Patch updates fail with the error Code 3
I tried to understand this one for months, but I work in the it Department and we have available creative cloud to our creative team. A particular Mac user, who uses a connection to Active Directory, but is a local administrator on their computers, has had this same problem for months, and I wonder what can be done to address this problem.
Whenever an application is installed, it fails to patch. I get an error Code 3 and an individual application cannot be updated. Error Code 3 seems rare because I have not really seen anyone refer to it anywhere on the web. In any case, I already tried the follow-up:
- Uninstalled/Reinstalled, with or without the cleaning tool
- Change permissions on specific folders, as well as the entire system disk
- A ran repair disk and authorization
- My own creative cloud compiled and installed package
- Created a new CC account for the user in question
.. .the all of these "fixes" nothing helps.
It should also be noted that this particular user has been given first of all a new hard drive with a new installation of Mac OS X Yosemite and now an other machine. The same behavior continues to poison us. This is crazy!
And whenever I try to set up a chat on-line with Adobe support, wait and wait, only to be expelled leaves a session before it had even begun. It's the equivalent of getting hung up on the phone after waiting on hold for an extended period of time. It's horrible. I really need to solve this problem. All the research I did rush to the same steps to try to remedy the situation, but nothing does. Please, please, please give me something I can work with that.
Thank you
Alex S.Hello
That you have made many of the troubleshooting steps, I recommend you to contact customer service

After you rule out corrupted ZIP files, I'm not sure why I can't download newer versions of the Cisco UCS drivers:
ENIC - 2.1.2.62 - esx55 - 2340678.zip
fnic_driver_1.6.0.12_esx55 - 2101964.zip
They are downloaded from the vmware.com website officially also. I already have a previous version of these drivers in the patch list. What is the question?
Most recent running of all (patched to max). vCenter 5.5 U2 with the latest ESXi hosts and Update Manager.
Any advice?
extract the bundle and import the zip file enic - 2.1.2.62 - esx55-offline_bundle - 2340678.zip VUM
same thing for the fnic package

Installation succeeded, but a patch has failed. Error (U44M1P34).
I'm trying to update Photoshop CC but I get this error message. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app, but it still does not work. Any ideas?
Adding to the deepakg1988 station, please try and manually edit the Camera Raw 9.3.1 plugin using the link below.
Camera Raw installation of Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6 program
Let us know if that helps.

Each installation of the PATCH fails after installing Windows updates
Hello
I would like to report a problem, I think it's a bug of Windows introduced by one of the Windows updates (unfortunately I could not know who of them).
Here's the test scenario:
1. install a fresh copy of Windows on a test computer
2. install all the Windows updates available (so the system is up-to-date)
3. create a sample MSI installer that installs only some dummy files (let's say Product Version 1.0.0) and host on a web server4. install the MSI from the online location using a command line like this:
msiexec /i http://server/share/package.msi
5. create a. Patch MSP (e.g. v1.0.1) which only adds a new file to v1.0.0
6 install the patch v1.0.1RESULT: the installation of the patch fails with the following error message: "the file name, directory name or volume label syntax is incorrect."
NOTES:
1. the question has replicated to Windows 7 and 8 machines updated
2. the question is not replicated on a new install of Windows without updates appliedIs anyone aware of what may cause this error? Once again the patch installation fails only on Windows computers with the latest updates installed.
THX,
Daniel
