• Another 5-in-1 Media Card Reader Question, ZV6000 series

  I have a Pavillion ZV61000 ()PN494AV) who works fantastic for the last 4 years.  I recently upgraded to 2 1gig RAM and installed a new drive hard and so re-loaded XP Professional from the "recovery" disk supplied with the laptop.

  I was at HP Total Care and updated all the drivers and to update.microsoft.com to update the drivers even more.

  However, the only thing that doesn't seem to work is built in the 5-in-1 card reader.  On the SD (2 giga) SD card, it wants me to format and when I try, he then refuses to format the card and my HP from my DSLR 4Gig SD card, will not show in my computer.   Shows Device Manager everything works fine.

  Today, I went to HP.com and downloaded the driver suggested sp30714.exe ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp30501-31000/sp30714.exe and installed without success.

  I read everywhere on the internet where people are having the same problems with their readers of meda 5-in-1 of a regenerating of the lines of portable Pavilion.

  All I know, for me, the drive worked fine until I reloaded XP and having to assume the driver is bad or out of date.  However, none of those from HP.com or Microsoft seem to work either.  Cards (both the 2and 4 gig) are legible on the laptop USB external drives, so I can assume that this is not a problem recognition SD card, but rather a physical card or software reading number for the built-in player and because the drive worked very well under the original XP installation, I have to assume this is a problem of software between Windows and the drive so a pilot of the question.

  I searched the Forum, and that some problems are similar that they were not my particular model of HP and I don't know if this is a factor in the resolution of the problem.

  Any other suggestions?

  Found this solution and although I do not have these models of laptops, once I downloaded the patch and installed, 4Gig cards were suddenly readable.

  DIFFICULTY for HP 5-in-1 incompatibility.

  I have a problem with my fingerprint reader.
  I just re-formatted my new laptop which is only 4 days old. I have a Qosmio F50 - 10K.

  I uninstalled Trueaccess Manager software several times and installed the latest version of the software from the site of EU from toshiba.

  I also used CCleaner to clean the registry.
  I always get an error indicating the sensor cannot be started.

  Can someone help me please?

  If I remember well with fingerprint sensor small tutorial that will explain exactly how to do this and you can also practice how to remove the finger on the right track to successful fingerprint registration.

  To be honest, I can't imagine that there is something wrong with the software. Do a little test and let someone else to record fingerprints.

  I am the owner of a portable X 500 - 11 d of Qosmio computer and I ran into a few problems these last time:

  1. After installing windows 7, the fingerprint reader has worked flawlessly for about a month, but now the login screen of windows 7 not poster not the option to connect with the fingerprint and when I try to start the utility of fingerprint toshiba it gives an error could not connect to the sensor.

  Well, I m sure this laptop model X 500 - 11 d supports the fingerprint sensor.
  Please set the BIOS to default settings and check if there is a BIOS setting that can enable or disable the fingerprint sensor.

  I had the same problem. In my case, that the room was too dark and the cam didn't work well. I had covered the lens of the webcam and after that I withdrew my finger from the webcam, webcam worked again. Notes; the room was very bright and the probe could catch the environment. I don't know if this could help Mr. maybe, you need to uninstall the webcam software before you try this procedure

  Just ordered a laptop LG CT21N Bluray drive from newegg. Someone already had problems adding this drive or a spare optical drive specifically for this laptop?

  Reader is installed and works perfectly, ripping a bluray movie as I type this. All lined up, just unsnapped the bezel from lenovo off the coast of the old drive and put it on the new drive. stock screw for the rear mounting has also worked. looks totally stock, eject button works perfectly. Total time was less than 10 minutes.

  Hi all

  Already a few weeks or so, my fingerprint reading begins to play up - when I start the laptop, it seems do us somehing to the connection and logon fails permanently - when I try to open a session keyboard always fingerprint reader sends something and can not connect - it just cause connection to fail over and over in a loop.  I can just manage to turn off the laptop by clicking on the button turn off and select the off option.

  I found a reason if I hit F10 to enter the BIOS setup, e and exit, reboot all goes well.  Then I can use the fingerprint reader to log in again. Then a few weeks can go and the same thing!

  What gives?  Someone at - it suggestions? Is this a bug of material or something - it is possible to disable the fingerprint reader so that if in the future he sticks completely upward, I would at least have the ability to disable.

  This morning I look a some photos on my BlackBerry Pearl 8130 (carrier Verizon) and all of a sudden, when trackballing on a thumbnail and trying to open the photo, it just sort of frozen. She would not open the photo.  After a few seconds, the best hypothesis, I would say that 30 or less, it says "Media Card can not be Read. I went to the Options > Media Card and checked all my settings.

  I put the MicroSD card in the card and my laptop and he could read all the files correctly. I put on my C: drive and formatted the card in the phone.   I think you're right. I had two go wrong in mine, unrelated to the BB.

• Update causing Lightroom XMP read questions?

  I am incredibly frustrated at the moment. I searched but I can't find anything. I spent the days all the photos I took for my video of period of treatment. Thousands. And then Lightroom has this annoying problem with sync moving place. It seems if you synchronize more than 4-5 photos at a time (doesn't really work for thousands of images), you're good. • I / CS4 crashes at startup-Suitcase Fusion 3 question?

  On my workstation, after you set up the font book preferences, I have 'disable' the program by making it an archive .zip so that it does not start.

  To respect your .ai preferences, you must go to the real folder in your 'library' and delete the preferences. Illustrator will recreate this file once you launch it again.

  And you can navigate to the plug-ins folder in the illustrator file to remove the plugin Fusion3.

• Acrobat 9 Pro-iPad pdf reader questions

  When I create/modify a PDF in Acrobat 5 and then send it to my iPad, the pdf will be complete and correct.  When I create/modify the same pdf in Acrobat 9 Pro and send it to my iPad pdf will be absent all of the data that I have edited and the other text will be blurred.  This occurs when you use the iBooks and Pdf Reader Pro by iTech development to see the pdf file.  Is this a problem with Acrobat or pdf readers?  What happens differently in Acrobat 9, which could cause these readers have problems?

  Use the press or the print job settings so that all fonts are embedded. I think that the iPad is not recognize some of the fonts and they are not integrated. You can check with ctrl-D (or PDF properties) for the included fonts.
