paved touch multitouch
I recently bought a hp g62 laptop 361tx, in the manual, he said that the touchpad supports multitouch. but I can't use multitouch pinch and zoom options and scrolling with two fingers. I went on the touchpad device settings, here I've seen options like pinch and zoom are enabled, but options are gray in color and I'm not able to make changes to by clicking my mouse on these options has no effect on them. Please tell me how to enable multi touch options. I'm still not able to use the online support and the hp chat system, ' coz for some reason, the site continues to say that the support page for my laptop does not exist whenever I get my product code or number.
Help, please! 1

I have a problem with my new laptop HP - 15-ay062nl, running Windows 10 Version 1511.
The left touchpad button has a strange reaction to pressure, which leads to hard daily use.
When you press on normally (I mean: like any other button of touchpad, including the right of the laptop even button) it does not work, it works when a small extra-pression is given. The right button works normally instead.
I'm afraid of damaging by pressing too hard several times under normal usage conditions.
I think it's a hardware problem (maybe a Touch/cover mounting problem), as I tried to invert function buttons setting without change on its pressure sensitivity. I have not found a way of setting sensitivity of the button.
Did anyone experience the same problem?
@Roberto8, thanks for the reply.
As you mentioned that you updated all the drivers and the problem persists.
It is good to know that you have sent the laptop at home.
I'll watch for your reply.
Nice day! See you soon!
Hi everyone, new user touchpad/webOS here.
My new 32 GB touchpad seems to have a flaw. The glass screen is separate from the rest of the body. I phoned the free Butler service and spoke to a representative on Wednesday afternoon, who advised me to send pictures to show the problem and was told that I would hear within 24 hours of their receipt of my e-mail.
I received a reply this morning (Thursday) saying they received my email and will now work on my case, and I will be contacted when they have an update.
I waited patiently all day for an update with no luck. That's maybe ten hours later, more or less? Now maybe I don't understand the process, but surely it is a manufacturing defect and should be a simple matter of performance for a repair? I'm not quite sure of what is considering the delay I got only two days and the screen has begun to lift on the bottom of the touch pad near the Center Home button.
Please could someone advise me on the turnaround times for this kind of questions? My main concern at the moment, it is that even if I only got 2 days, my touchpad is sitting in the store that I bought since Saturday (they were trying to get a new one, one was commissioned as a replacement without a bit of luck). My 14 days money back guarantee window is short, especially with the end of next week.
If this stretches and I pass in front of the window of 14 days, would still be eligible for a refund on a defective touchpad, IE not only wear?
Also, should I send my return the whole box? That is to say... the brown box of white touchpad including all accessories in box up inside the outer box for a repair? I will answer all the accessories again when they send the a refurbished?
Apologies for dumb questions (maybe). I have virtually no experience with getting the items returned or replaced, so this is all new to me.
Thanks in advance for any advice people can give.
OK, finally I have the success I think!
After a discussion very unsuccessful online earlier this afternoon, I was reading how some people had gotten their touchpads, replaced by advanced unit warranty replacement service. I thought... what the heck... I'll try another web cat to see if the little guaranteed touchpad which includes or not.
Unfortunately, I told myself that no, this is not included in the warranty... Perhaps those of US in the United Kingdom do not understand that? Or maybe the firesale touchpads are not included... I'm not sure on this one. However, I have my history Patricia to relay and explain that I'm quite angry to says that I have to wait until 'during the next week', before I heard if I can send my touchpad in repair.
Long story short... after a long hours Webchat that lasted almost 40 minutes longer that they are supposed to be open (web chat closed at 17:30 in the United Kingdom according to the Palm support page), I now have my created Service repair order and a UPS box is sent to me with a prepaid label. Unfortunately, it will take 7-10 days, but at least they now send me a box to return in.
Score... I think so? Fingers crossed that all is well now, I have created real service order. I think I need a lie down!
You just bought Compaq CQ60.
When the pounter of the mouse is positioned on tabs etc., sometimes it will act as if I double-clicked with my touch pad and go to another page / file etc...
Worked a treat - thanks for your help!
Hello! So I recently bought a laptop and spectrum X 360 as soon as I turn it on the screen begins to blink. I tried to look at how to solve this problem, but nothing useful has come. I took matters into my own hands, and I shut down the computer, then he started upward. When I got to the top, the screen was completely black, the screen flickered always and the trackpad might work, but the left click does not work on what it is. Please help me! Thank you!

I disabled the touchpad Synapics in the settings, but it is not permanent and must be repeated after you log in again
Try the following.
Hold down the Windows key and press R
In the run box, type regedit and press enter
In the registry editor, navigate to the following
Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade
If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit
Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.
Close the registry editor.
Make the Synaptics setting changes you need in the usual way and save them, and then check if they are now kept after a reboot.

I've had trouble with my touchpad... it does not at times... How can this be corrected...
Thank you for information about your HP ENVY Notebook dv6t-7300. Here is a link to troubleshoot the Touchpad. If you go to the section on the score setting TouchPad and ClickPad sensitivities should help solve the problem.
Please let me know.
I charge my new touchpad on an HP docking station. However, I would like to be able to copy music from my PC to the toudhpad. However, supposedly in a touchpad manual, it was stated the touchpad should not be connected to a PC USB. So, what's the microphone/USB cable for?
Ideas, suggestions, references?
Oh, good grief, please accept my apologies for wasting all the time with this message! After reading another message with links to the answers, I know that I should have thought before posting.
I appreciate the useful messages.
I want the button and custom cut Tablet if I go into the Device Manager I have to stop here.
Found answer on WebOS forum - a good forum. - http://forums.hpwebos.com/t5/HP-TouchPad-Software-Hardware/bd-p/touchpad
Press and hold the top button. Holding down, press and hold the front button. Do not let go, it takes 15 seconds, your device turns off. Let him, stopping and restarting - an another 15-25seconds.
Worked for me.
I recently installed Windows 7 on my Inspiron 15 7000-7559. I managed to find most of the drivers and get the working material.
However for the Touchpad, I can't find driver or software for it. Windows 7 uses only the default drivers mouse Compatible PS/2. When in the Dell drivers site, there no drivers for input devices.
It works very much like a regular touchpad, but it doesn't have the additional function, as two fingers scrolling etc.
It's always very good to me until I realized that my Palm will accidentally hit the touchpad when typing. Looking at my old dell laptops, I saw that there is a feature of rejection of palm for the Dell touchpad.
Windows detects this trackpad as Atmel Maxtouch.
Can someone please advise me were to find a compatible driver for this problem?
Help and support is greatly appreciated.
I run the laptop Dell Inspiron 7559 i7. I had the same problem but I found the drivers who have worked for me.
Here is a link that uses drivers that I could get my gestures downloads.dell.com/.../7559_Input_Driver_GJ4DY_WN32_184.108.40.206_A00.EXE back
I wonder how to handle gesture events, such as sliding your finger or the pinch gesture. Everyone already knows that?
I tried but I could not find this information.
This is possible and supported by air. You will find all the documentation you need on the livedocs:
For now, you can't simulate a gesture on a Playbook Simulator, but if you have an android device (or a mac of a paved touch multitouch), you can try on it with the same code
on my touch pad there are lines at the rt far as you slide your finger up a down they move the screen. is there a Wo sensitivity for this?
TouchPad settings found in the control panel - mouse - there may be several tabs that paved touch

Also check the Notification area near the clock, bottom right, as many system will be a TouchPad
The utility available here.
Check with the manufacturer of their books online and their forums system's support (as appropriate).
I hope this helps.
Rob Brown - MS MVP - Windows Desktop Experience: Bike - Mark Twain said it right.
I had a satellite A660 a few months now and recently, some tactile buttons have stopped working, including utilities eco shortcut programmable, wireless, play/pause, lighting and paved touch power button.
Which makes it very difficult to use the laptop that I can use is no longer the touch pad, as he will start. I can only use the laptop when I have a mouse connected.
How can I reallocate these buttons to their roles?
Thanks in advance.
PS. I tried to install the value-added package with no result.
You should try to reinstall Toshiba Value added Package, and Flash Cards Support utility. These tools are necessary for the illuminated buttons and keys FN. Cool it down, that you can download on the official website of Toshiba:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers
Install VAP in a first time, and then restart your computer and then install the Flash Cards Support utility. Reboot once more and everything should work again :)
I spent from Vista to XP. All works not well I read on this forum on the wire of Vetko, that members "pinteno" has managed to update its BIOS for XP.
Please inform what files it uses and how it update its BIOS. I have the BIOS to version 1.40 on my machine. When I try to update with the utility setup.exe (BIOS version 1.6), it goes all the way to new BIOS, then the machine is blocked with a blue screen. I have to remove the battery to turn off the power of the machine to restart.
Can anyone help please? I installed all the drivers for XP, but the machine is not allowed. Not good, paved touch both although wrong keys Fn...
Usually, there are different Satellite A200 series.
Please do not forget that you have chosen the right BIOS for the series on the right!
By the way; the incorrect BIOS or an incorrect BIOS procedure may damage the ROM module and the motherboard.
The BSOD is unusual during the update of the BIOS and I hope you didn t damage the laptop.

I have a problem that developed when using my Xbox 360 as an Extender in Media Center. This question has barely begun. Everything has been fine for at least 2 months, and besides updates of usual windows, no major changes to the system took place.
