I lost audio beats when I put a new hard drive where I can get it?

Click on the link below. Enter your number of product as that indicated on the Service tag on the bottom of the laptop (can be under the battery). You can also get the product number by pressing Fn + ESC key. After you enter the PN, click Next, then choose the software & Drivers. On the next page use the menu drop down to select your (probably Windows 7 64-bit) operating system. A list will fill with the drivers. Download & install the last Audio driver.

  • DV7-4177nr: HP laptop dv7-4177nr Caps Lock flashing solid button wireless

This HP laptop was not start correctly. After some research, I came up on top of the problem LED blink/beep codes and was hoping to use this page.

The problem is, on my laptop, the Verr Maj light constantly blinks and doesn't stop, unlike on the problem page code where it says he should stop to give me an idea of what the problem is.

In addition, the LED light on the wireless key is a solid red color. After several attempts, I can't find anything about a flashing infinite caps lock and a solid red light.

I tried the hard reset, when I remove the battery and the AC adapter and press and hold the power button for a long period of time. I have also reinstalled the RAM sticks. I even took the CMOS battery and replaced.

If possible, would be just a system board/motheboard failure? I heard that if I take on the RAM and try to turn on/off the unit, the unit should beep at me because it does not recognize the RAM, but in my case, it is not a sound signal.

    Any other ideas?

    Hello @ToeKnee616,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that your HP Pavilion dv7-4177nr is not start properly and you have tried various troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

Looks like you follow the proper document to solve the problems. Based on the consistent blinking, it is most likely a single wink indicating the failure of the CPU.

  • Pavilion dv7-4177nr: dv7-4177nr right usb ports not working not

So I recently bought a used dv7-4177nr, got home, and since it has been used, naturally the first thing I do is restore the system to factory conditions. I don't check the ports for a feature beforehand. Run all Windows updates, get rid of the bloatware and realized, "it would be easier with my mouse wireless." Go to plug in, and the ports on the right do not recognize. No sound of "you hooked something up" or looking for drivers or anything like that. Those on the left are working fine. Windows detects that there is no ports.

    I tried the things:

    Update the BIOS

chipset drivers of the series AMD 8 (not completely sure that those who have the right ones, but nothing else has blown up or whatever it is)

Remove the USB drivers from Device Manager and let Windows RE-add-the

Pavilian dv7-6c95dx windows 7 64-bit (out of warranty).  Computer turns on normally and asks user password.  Attempts to enter the CORRECT password (I forgot it) for user access results in the following message: "user profile service service has no logon.  User profile cannot be loaded. "Then, I offer only an OK button.  Clicking OK only results in the whole of the procedure of starting all over again.  I get a "wrong password" notification when I fast type in a wrong password.  Of course, I'm using my other computer for this application for assistance.  steveamos

    Hello

    You can try the following.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select Safe mode and press ENTER.  If windows will load in this mode, on the Start Menu, click principally made programs, click Accessories, click System Tools and run the system restore.  Choose a restore point at least 24 hours prior to the issue of logon and then proceed to the restoration.  When you are finished, Windows will restart as normal in order to check if you can now connect correctly.

Another option if the above does not help is as follows.

Shut down the laptop.  Tap away at f8 that you start the laptop to enter the Windows Recovery Console.  Use the arrow keys to select "Start using last good known Configuration" and press ENTER.

    read the tutorial below

When you log on a Windows Vista-based or a Windows 7 computer by using a temporary profile, you receive the following error message:

The user profile Service has not logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

If you tried to log on to Windows and received an error message telling you that your user profile is damaged, you can try to fix it. You will need to create a new profile and then copy the files from the existing to the new profile. You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to perform these operations, including the new account that you created.

Hello - try a hard reset - first

Remove the battery, AC adapter connector and then hold down the Power button for 30 seconds.

then reconnect all - see if it boots.

If this does not work - try to hit F8 after you power, you may need to type the key or press the ESC key for a menu.

then try to start in safe mode.

from there, you can try to do a "restore" - restore type in the search box and run the MS system restore - choose a date before your problem.

  • low volume on HP Pavilion dv7-4177nr

I suddenly lost almost all usable volume on my internal speakers for portable computers.

I tried to do a right-click on the icon "speaker" and setting the properties of a tick in the volume, but the volume is still too low to use with Skype.

I checked my audio driver and it is IDT high definition audio codec 6.10.6292.0 22/07/2010

The driver is installed in C:\windows\system32\drivers\stwrt64.sys

Is there anything else I should try?

    Hello

It can be interesting to try a new installation of another driver IDT, then try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp49001-49500/sp49432.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click set default - it may also be useful to check the box for "Loudness equalization" once again.

    Hello:

It is probably a software problem.

You should be able to change your location on the MSN home page by entering your zip code.

I am usually able to change mine by entering the postal code under the weather information and default setting.
