  Hello. I have a Dell Latitude E7440. The laptop starts with the office end while its connected to the power adapter. It starts very well in a stack on the desktop and works normally. But the problem occurs when I connect to the AC adapter when the laptop is turned on, it freezes, for example when sound on the desk and I connect to the AC adapter, it freezes and does not respond. When I unplug the AC adapter, it takes over and works normally again. When I connect to the AC adapter again it hangs and when I disconnect, it resumes its normal operation. The third time that I connect to the adapter, it does not freeze. What could be the problem? Any help is appreciated please.

  My laptop (Acer 4736 G) freezes when I connect an external (1 TB consisting mainly in videos) HARD disk after the start. If I connect the external HARD disk before starting the system, it works fine, but when I try to remove the external HARD drive it freezes again. I can't disconnect and I have to force close down. Reboot, I am able to remove the external HARD drive if I don't use it. I used this on other computers external HARD drive and it works fine. CHKDSK #: / r has shown no flaws in there. My OS is Windows 7 (32 bit).

  The problem seems to have been resolved, but I'm not sure it heals. I uninstalled Advanced System Care Ultimate (paid version), as it just expired and ran CCleaner (free version) and my problem just disappeared. I'm not sure if CSA Ultimate has done or has been cured by CCleaner. However, I have yet another problem. I can't remove my Seagate Expansion 1 TB external HARD drive. I get a message that continue to run certain processes. I don't see all the processes running. If I restart my laptop and click the remove without access to the HARD drive, I am able to delete safely, but I would like to know why I can't remove it once it has been used.

  You see yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager? Maybe a driver isn't installed properly in the system freezes.
  In addition, I would try to remove the USB ports in Device Manager. After this restart your laptop and USB ports will be recognized again.

  Have you tried a BIOS update? If this isn't the case, you should do it. Before you begin the update, close all running programs and make sure that you are logged on as administrator.

  Last but not least try to reinstall Windows using the Toshiba recovery disc. It only takes a few minutes and then you have settings to factory again! :)

  I got a G6 Pavilion - 2263ca with Windows 8. When I open an application on the start screen, the laptop freezes and closed. I ran a system recovery and all the system diagnostics, but nothing has changed and I can't find a hardware problem.   Try the following.

  In regards to the manual maintenance on the link below, delete one of your memory modules and then see if the laptop works Ok.  If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location.  If it is still working properly, try the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to run without freezing.

  The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed from Page 55 of your & Maintenance Guide.

• Pavilion 15-p077TX: my HP Pavilion p077TX 15 notebook freezes when moved from its position

  Whenever I move my laptop from its position, it freezes. As I kept my phone on my bed and I pick it up and place it on my lap then it crashes / freezes. So every time I have to remove the battery and put it again whenever this happens. Sometimes twice a day. It gets really frustrating whenever you do something important. So what I can make of this is that whenever I move the laptop to a certain speed, it freezes, it means that something inside it moves from its ideal location (doesn't happen when I move it very slowly).

  Any cause of definte and the solution?

• Computer freezes when I connect the "rocket" sanza

  I recently bought a modernised 8 GB Saza Fuze sellout.woot.com.  When I plug it into my laptop that is running Windows Xp with sp3 the entire computer freezes.  When I unplug the laptop computer UN is "rocket" freezes.  So I tried to change auto to DPW, always the same result.  Then I tried MSC and that no longer works.  I then tried a desktop computer running Windows XP with SP3 and this computer has frozen too with all the settings and unlock when you unplugged.  Then I tried a third computer running windows Vista and the computer did not freeze but the computer does not see the mp3 player.  I tried all automobiles, MTP and MSC, and none of them worked on the vista computer.  During all tests when I plugged the mp3 player he sat there and load. He makes no attempt to connect to computers at all.
