  My girl accidentally installed an administrative password on his cell phone. I fix computers so when she brought to me by saying she had a password problem, I assumed it was a windows password and told him that I could take care of it without problem.   You can remove the need for a password as follows.

  Shut down the laptop.  Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to access the start menu, then select f10 to open the Bios menu.  Use the arrows to select the Security tab and press ENTER.  Use the arrow keys again to select the password option and press ENTER.  Enter the current password and then the new password, simply leave this blank and press on enter - do the same for the confirmation field.  Press f10, select this option to save the new settings and press to enter.

  Hello

  Can someone please help me to reset my BIOS admin password.  I know it's stupid, but when I got my laptop 5 years ago for some silly reason, I thought it was a good idea to set an admin password.   5 years later, I need to change my setting of virtualization in the BIOS and surprise!  I'm stuck with absolutely no idea what password I used.

  The "System off" code I get is: 67600648.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  My eternal thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to read my post and use a part of his personal time to help me solve my problem.  I am really grateful for that.
