Pavilion 17-g127ds: upgrade of processor and the graphics card Intel
Hello. I was wondering if I could update the processor and graphics card in the HP Pavilion g127ds 17. It has an Intel Pentium N3700 (1.6 GHz) processor. I really want to know if I could pass this processor to something better. Also, if I can improve the Intel HD Graphics, it would be good as well.
Unfortunately NO, you can not upgarde to better CPU or GPU because N3700 Pentium processor and Intel HD graphics card equipped motherboard. If you want to update, you must purchase a new motherborad which is = to buy the new machine.
I'm watching DVDs on my satellite L30, but also good Windows media player and the application of Toshiba, will not let me.
He said that there is an error between the decoder and the graphics card.
I checked and I'm set for region 2 and windows says I have the right drivers for the dvd and the graphics.
Any help would be appreciated with gratitude
Try it please with the K-lite codec pack. Download and install it. Maybe it helps.
I just got this new computer and try to make it work with the game Elder Scrolls v Skyrim the game starts and runs ok however by default is of poor quality with video intel detected 4600. Don't want to use the video intel when even, so no matter not much. I want to use is the video card from nVidia to 740 m.
I went into the NVIDIA Control Panel and things together global use the nividia card, in program files, I put all the exe files of the game to use the nvidia card. I entered skyrimprefs and sd3ddivice to change sD3DDevice = "Nvidia GeForce GT M 740" when I start the game it resets the video at the bottom and when I look at his still trying to use the card intel. The skyrimprefs file is more written with sD3DDevice = 'Intel (R) graphics HD 4600'.
So the question is how to get the game to work with nVidia card? Or how to disable the card intel?
Went into device manage and disabled the graphics card intel and skyrim can't always find the nVidia card. It uses Microsoft basic pilot to return instead. A difference that I noticed is the base of Microsoft driver it will default the video quality of average quality rather than low quality I get with the 4600 built in processor video card.
I was running enb and needed to use the version of the injector instead of the version of wrapper. the file d3d9.dll in the wrapper version forced things to use the graphics card intel.
I just bought this HP Pavilion 500-282 3/15/15. I would like to upgrade from the intel hd graphics card 4400. Also, I would say to install the I3 I5 4130. How hard would that be? I upgrade the BIOS? The power supply is 300 Watts.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
HERE IS THE SPEC PAGE for this unit. It lists the processors i5 which will work with the motherboard, just scroll down.
The intel hd graphics card 4400 is part of the processor but will be promoted to the Intel HD Graphics 4600 (GT2) with any of the i5 processors listed. If more than one upgrade is necessary, you should know that food can be a problem and the graphical upgrade with Intel onboard graphics is somewhat a problem, too. Be very sure, through research, that works in the motherboard video card to the study. (Pegatron Memphis-S)
I have a Compaq Presario CQ42-203AU with AMD processor and graphics. And what I want to ask is, can I upgrade the processor and graphics of my laptop? If it is possible, what is the maximum and graphic compatible processor for my laptop? I thank very you much for your help in advance.
I understand that you are interested in upgrading the processor and graphics card on your laptop, is that correct? I will try and provide you with information that needed to get there.
The processor can be improved in this particular notebook. If you go to page 91 in the maintenance manual , it will give you a list of processors and it will show you the steps to do it yourself. I don't know what your current status of security with this laptop, but if you are still covered the upgrade of the processor warranty this I just want you to be aware.
Now and then when you're dealing with the graphics card it is soldered to the motherboard if you will not be able to update. If you really want to improve the graphics, as you go through the motherboard. There is a list of those on page 81 in the owner's manual as well.

I have a satellite a60 652.
I want to improve it with new ram and graficcard.
can I use more than 1, 5 GB of ram? later with an update of the bios?
and if I can change the graficcard? If the answer is Yes... What is the best card I can actually use?
or is there a map which is almost a geforce 7600 or 6600 (or ati 9700) I can use?
Thank you for the help
PS excuse my English ;)
> I want to upgrade the ram and the new graphics card
Upgrading RAM is possible but the graphics card is unable to be updated!
If you want to upgrade the memory you could update to 1536 MB max.
The A60 supports 512MB internal memory and it is so that one memory slot where the extra RAM module can be inserted.
These modules are compatible:
PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)
1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-1M1G)
I'm looking to upgrade the graphics card in my HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1287c. I recently installed a Cosair CX600w diet and I'm looking for a list of compatible video cards, I can update. My first interest is to do video editing, so I need memory and graphics power. I'm looking to spend around $100-200 dollars.
Install the updates to the BIOS listed under Windows 8 , one at a time from the lowest verision. However, before that, install the latest diagnoses that are displayed on the same page and run a full game.
Thanks for posting on the forum.
I'm a newbie on this forum, but let's get to the point. I have Toshiba Satellite PSP10E (PIV 2.8HT 800 Mhz, 1 GB of system memory bus speed and UNFORTUNATELY a GF 5600go...).
My (not only) problem is that Toshiba use engineering video BIOS version and it does not have the latest drivers for the geforce series. The most up-to-date driver that really works is the last of the series 5xxx... so you can see that none of the newer games can be run with a performance on this map... because older drivers don't use really not (available at directx9.0) 2.0 pixel shader. It would not be a problem if Toshiba would give an update not only BIOS system, but also the bios video (new system BIOS contains the same old video bios.
I really had to settle for playing games that are 2 years old? First of all pay a lot of money for a witch of the computer has enough power to run some new but don't care support Toshiba for this...
I was the proud owner of a Toshiba laptop, but I'm not! If I had to choose again, I decide to buy computer Toshiba...
My Question: is that Toshiba will do something with this problem? Someone knows how to help? Thanks for any help (I have not found such a problem in this forum, sorry if it has been the front sign) and sorry for my English (hope that's understandable)
My video Bios is: v184.108.40.206.A6

We know that you can not install the drivers downloaded from the download page of GF because of the restriction of material. It's not only the Toshiba models, but also on other producers of portable and if you visit the download page of graphics cards, it is always recommended to download drivers designed by the manufacturers of portable.
I think that nobody can explain why it's because I'm sure you know the reason. The performance of the graphics card will always be a topic of discussion and you will always want to have maximum performance for games with laptop, although performance may not be the same as on the desktop where you have the possibility to change the graphics card and install the latest drivers.
Because of this, I think that it is really unnecessary to some turbulence here. Believe me, you can buy what you want, but after two or three years you will be always satisfied with something.
In any case, good luck and enjoy life!
presenly using the family of chipsets intel 945 graphics. window 7ultimate 32 bit.how can I replace this graphics card? and who is the best comitable with my notebook graphics card.
There is no graphics "card" in your notebook that can be removed and replaced, as they can in many Office PC.
The graphics card in your laptop is part of the motherboard, and to improve the graphics, the entire motherboard must be replaced by another which is listed in the service manual for your laptop that can have better graphics.
PC questions message says: problem with SMA-Display adapt ATI Rodeon graphics cards.
Click fix, it can not download the probable cause of the fix is pc is not connected to the internet, but I am.
How can I fix this I don't know what to download
Thank you for your inquiry.
I understand that you receive a message saying: "there was a problem with the AMD-Display Adapter-ATI Radeon Graphics Cards. When you click on repair that you get a message that you are not connected to the Internet, but you are.
I'd be happy to look for updates, but would need you know your exact model of the G Series notebook. How can I find my model number or product number?
You could try the HP Support Assistant to help acquire the right drivers running. You could also test the graphic cards by running a hardware test on them. HP Notebook PC - hardware failures (Windows 7, Vista) screening. You will find the option for video under components.
Please send the results of the troubleshooting.

I have a problem with my Precision M4400 and Nvidia Quadro 770 M. After I installed Windows 7 64 bit, I have problems with the graphics card. I get a blue screen or graphic errors. I tried several versions of the driver. In the Nvidia forum had this problem even more. Here, they told me that only a BIOS update for the graphics card to solve the problem. Update the BIOS, but I should refer by DELL. So my question is this problem with Dell is also known, and there is already an update of the BIOS to the Quadro 770 M?
I have the solution by chance. I was looking for the latest drivers GeForce for Windows 7 x 64 and I read the accompanying note: http://fr.download.nvidia.com/Windows/337.88/337.88-win8-win7-notebook-release-notes.pdf
On page 17, you can read the following note to fix: "[GeForce FX 770 M] [portable]: blocking of the blue screen occurs after Windows starts."
Of course, GeForce FX 770 M does not exist (and never was), and it should be Quadro FX 770 M. I can bet that nVidia has corrected this famous BSOD problem in the wrong driver because always there is nothing about any "Quadro FX 770 M - fix" in the note accompanying the latest Quadro (340.52) driver.
You try the GeForce driver above, but to install it, you may need to download an INF file modified with the addition of the ID of Quadro FX 770 M (= "NVIDIA_DEV.065C ="NVIDIA Quadro FX 770 M"). Try without the first modified INF file because the Quadro FX 770 M is listed as a compatible chip in the version of the driver GeForce 337.88 note...
I'll try that, even though I am completely sastified with the latest driver for Quadro (feasible) (285.62) without disable Powermizer. I did not try the latest Quadro drivers again (to be honest).
Late me know please.
I have recently become interested in being a pc player, but my computer is just not powerful to play games. Written IM see if someone could tell me if a Dell 17R-N7010, receive a graphics card and put upgraded ram and if so if you could tell me what it is and where to buy.
RAM can be upgraded to max 8G (2 X 4).
Video chip cannot be upgraded.
Can I add a graphics card? If Yes, which?
@DavidMW You are welcome.
Please do not hessitate to ask questions. This is the reason why I'm here.
Most of the games are today video very intensive. This is why your computer begins to lag when the game gets busy. A video card would be a good thing, but will be much easier to install more memory. This is the memory that is recommended by Crucial memory. The max memory is 4 GB, however. You would be better served if you decide to upgrade the memory to buy 2 x 2 GB memory new and remove the old. Another way to increase performance of the system is to add an SSD. Take a look at the recommended by Crucial SSD. They make great products for OEM computers. My HP laptop game boots Omen is less than 7 seconds and increases the speed of loading games with the 256 GB SSD.
I have to be honest with you. The Slimline models simply are not meant for the game; even

ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600SE with up to 128 MB of RAM or the ATI MOBILITY RADEON X 700 with up to 256 MB of RAM
but it says in the specification:

AFAIK the m70-147 was delivered with a 80 GB HARD drive.
This HARD drive has the rotation of serial ATA interface and 5400 RPM of the training.
I put t know if is it possible to use the 7200 due to heat production.
The HARD disk with a 7200 RPM produce more heat as a 5400 RPM HARD drive.
In this case, it is possible to s that you have an overheating problem.
