My current BIOS 8,09 was for a machine of Windows 8; so is the new version 8.13. But I have upgraded to Windows 8.1; so my attention before installing - don't want my PC into a brick.

  • Pavilion 20, b010: can I upgrade cpu on Pavilion 20

Hello, I think to upgrade my processor cpu on my windows 8 Pavilion 20, b010, an all-in-one computer, but I'm not sure because I don't know if my computer can handle it. I am looking to upgrade to a 2.5 GHz-3.7 GHz processor but not sure that my system can handle it, because one I have currently is only 1.48 GHz, so it makes me think that my pc will not be able to handle it because it is so small, and because it is an all-in-one computer , so I don't know if my cpu can even be changed. Can someone please help me with this issue, it would be much appreciated.

  • HP Pavilion dm4-2070us bluetooth compatibility with Samsung M575

Is there a Bluetooth known compatibility issue between the hp Pavilion dm4 2070us and mobile phone Samsung M575?

Cannot find the other during the attempt of a 'add a device '. I already double checked the basics. Phone is fully powered, not asleep, Bluetooth active and visible. Installed and enabled on the laptop Bluetooth drivers

Windows Mobility Center shows no "integrated wireless devices.

I think we beat that poor horse to death. I'll stick with cable for the passage of the things from the phone on the computers of his life.

Another "Star" of this phone, which is more than the function. It also has "GPS".  Except that it takes so long to find that he is useless of functionaly.  Blue teeth it can have are probably fine for a wedge head "talk to yourself.

    I'm on it.

    Hey @rjlx ,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion Notebook dv6-3280 ca and problems with compatibility with Windows 10.

If your computer is experiencing problems find and install updates of the operating system, try to use the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix the problem.

If this is not enough, you need to restore the laptop to a previous version of Windows.

  • HP Pavilion dv6-6119wm HDMI and VGA works do not both together

Good evening, I have a laptop HP Pavilion DV6-6119wm Quadcore with AMD Radeon graphics card, which includes a VGA port and an HDMI cable. Together they are so close that you cannot connect both at the same time, but as I needed this so much, I cut the part on the side of the VGA cable to connect the two: the VGA and HDMI cables. Now they are connected.

The runtime separately, they work very well: HDMI works ranging from office with the laptop screen and VGA works too big office that stretches with the screen of the laptop, but I want to run the extended desktop on the 3 displays: the laptop display, vga and hdmi. I tried to put parameters "- display - screen resolution" on Windows7 and when I try to "Extend the desktop to this display" if she s HDMI If VGA is work or vice versa, I get: "cannot save the display settings.

Is the function of the use of two video cards at the same time is available? So then I m something wrong on the parameters, and if not, I'll have to look for an alternative to the extension of the workstations.

    Thank you.

  • HP Pavilion dv 6736nr HDMI port facility

I have a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC dv6736nr. A task for the HDMI, it came not with the real port. I can install this port?

    Hello

I am not that simple, you need material support, namely the video/graphics card inside. Based on this, he 'NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150 M' and you have to live with it, not HDMI.

    Kind regards.

  • HP Pavilion Elite e9220y: HDMI connection problem

I can't get my computer to connect to my monitor (HP w2338h) in hdmi mode.   The graphics card is the original of the computer (Radeon HD 4350) that I'm looking for upgrade to a Radeon HD 6670, but I had no input (black screen) when I went from cards.  I have given the old card and OSD have the HDMI input, but it will connect only in VGA mode.   My drivers are up to date.  I replaced the HDMI cables and neither one works.  I have reset the monitor to factory settings in the OSD.  I'm stuck with a new video card that I can't use.

I also moved the card wifi to a new expansion slot to make room for the largest video card.  When I handed my old video card, I discovered that I lost my internet connection until I moved the wifi card to its original expansion slot.  It's a whole other issue...

Should I just an old dog that doesn't hunt anymore?  Otherwise the thing is what I need to do business.  For the games... Well well... not so much!

    Thanks in advance.
