  With regard to the Intel chipset error message I can suggest only install this manual dirver via Device Manager. I had the same problem and if I could install the chipset driver.

  AFAIK the F10-136 is a European model and so you can download all drivers here:

  If you use Windows XP, you can find the installation instructions document. Use this list as a recommended driver installation order.
  Usually the drivers must be installed first, and then Tools. You should start with the chipset drivers.

  HI - just finished a clean install of Windows 7 this afternoon (update of XP). Equipped with a system of homebuild: Mobo Gigabyte GA-8PENXP, 2 GB RAM, Core2Duo 6600, 8800 GTS from Nvidia Graphics. Install has strictly no errors or hiccups. Problem is that I can not install anything. Tried to download an install AVG and Avast Antivirus, two installation programs failed. the iTunes Installer has simply nothing. However, I managed to install Office XP Pro and Stanza eBook reader. Disabled UAC - no difference. Ideas appreciated. It's driving me crazy

  tried everything literally was goggling days thought it was a corrupted registry / then maybe some antivirus programs finally found this forum

  It is feasible/possible to install it even on 8 to win, and where/how I get/download S/W update?

  Or have HP and Microsoft abandoned in favor of this "old" All in One and Win 8 compatibility?

  (Interesting apparent testament about the push towards the front of the technology so as to "force" the purchase of replacement of older, but functional, neat products!)

  I lost connectivity for printing service about a week ago. Maybe it's me trying to add an older HP Cad printer plotter to my selection of printers.  So, based on the recommendations of HP:

  1. I uninstalled all drivers of HP and my pc software (all-in-one)

  • Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the printer software.

  • If you are using a USB connection. Unplug the printer USB cable.

  • Clean boot the computer. How to perform a boot in Windows.

  • Disable all Antivirus programs. Disable Antivirus software.

  • Disable all firewall programs. The WF of end-to-end.

  • Create a new user account. Management of user accounts and connections (Windows 10).

  • Connect to the new user account.

  • Reinstall using full feature software and drivers. (Wait for the software to tell you to plug in the USB printer cable).

• 7300 series all-in-one software does not load in windows 8.1

  I have a 7310xi all in one. I recently installed a new desktop running windows 8.1. the connection is wireless. I can get the printer to print properly but cannot load the software. I need the software to be able to scan etc. I downloaded several times, uninstalled and reinstalled and still get the same result (I purge the temp file after each attempt). Everything goes very well with the download until the actual installation screen comes up. Once I hit the installation I get the message "the system cannot find the file specified." I tried hanging the printer with a USB port and still get the same results. I tried using the Dominican Republic printing HP, the installation wizard and continue to get the same thing. If I could determine precisely what file is not found maybe I could find it. I made sure all updates are running on the computer and tried something that sounded even close, I can fing on HP website. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  Sorry for the delay. You'll need get corrupted files fixed before you can install because they are the source of installation problems. To do this, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer (IE. HP, Dell) to get help with the files.

  I just upgraded my PC HP Pavilion Media Center of Windows XP Media Center for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

  Update went well, but now I can not install the specific software for my printer HP C7280 all in one.

  Printer is on my home network, printer and PC are on the cable network and the PC sees the printer and can print to the printer.

  However I can't get the software to install on the PC from HP!

  Have tried in many ways, direct downloaded software, used HPPIW, also HP print and Scan doctor.

  I turned off the antivirus and firewall, then ran the uninstall04.bat file

  Then edited msconfig so I could start with a clean boot. Do you have a reboot

  So I ran the installer as admin and everything went through, with a few minor hicups, but he set himself in the end.

  This problem would not have occurred if I had installed the printer directly after the installation and update of Windows 7.

  I installed Mcaffee directly after Windows 7, but must have installed the HP software before McAffee.

  HP Officejet 6500 Wireless all-in-One Printer - E709n  OEM of Windows 7, 64-bit

  Printer/HP Desktop worked well together for a few years.  Also have an E710n-z on the same wireless network.  Apparently, an update to Microsoft Word corrupted E709n default printer driver. Word always breaks down and is irreparable. "Devices and Printers" will not be open.

  Cannot uninstall the printer software with HP or Windows uninstall programs. Nothing happens. Raccoon tried HP 14. Tried the four levels. They all spend 50 to 80% uninstall before freezing. Impossible to reinstall either.  I'm currently a partial uninstall.  Have tried on several occasions various uninstall options two weeks now.

  I hate to say this, but you may need to reimage your computer to get everything back working as it should. I think that the corruption that caused Word, could affect areas more that just the printer drivers. Make sure to save all your data and perform a reinstallation is complete, or do a factory reimage. If you need instructions to make a reimage your computer, please provide me with the exact number of product. I'm sorry, but looks like it may be the only option.

  I just replaced my Photosmart C5280 All-in-one with an fancy 4500 all-in-one printer/scanner. To my horror the 4500 want does not scan to Searchable PDF Format. (I find this very dissapointing and think it should be clearly advertised on the box.)

  My Photosmart C5280 OCR software must always be installed on my computer (Windows 8) and there are OCR software on the market. But is it possible (installation, download, purchase, etc.) to get the 'Searchable PDF' option available to the envy of 4500 software of scans? I want to prevent additional steps for each document that I will be scanning.
