Pavilion 550 153na: R5 330 Max Graphics resolution

What is the max resolutions 60 fps and 30 FPS available of 550 153 graphics edge r5 330?

Is the HDMI 1.4 or 2.0?

In my case, it will be used for video, but no games.

Hi @Malc_Edwd, thanks for the reply.

According to the characteristics of the graphics card, 4096 x 2160 is the maximum display resolution supported when you extend or replicate them to an external monitor or TV.

It does not just playing games.

I stand to be corrected the previous link I sent was for Mobile M330 graphics card, however you can refer to the link below for the graphic specifications R5 330.

Link:http://hp.care/2dmU1RF

Using the link that you may know well can run a game on your PC.

Just mention details such as the type of CPU, memory and the name of the game it will tell you all the details.

Let me know if it helps!

Have a great day!

  • Pavilion 550-153NA: allow me to interact with the mouse and keyboard when Windows 7 starts at startup

    Hello

I am trying to downgrade from Windows 10 in Windows 7. I tried to install Windows 7 but it keeps telling me that "Windows Setup experienced an unexpected error. To install windows, restart the installation. "I rebooted several times, but I still have the error. Then, I tried to install it by starting the drive at startup. All charge very well and the configuration screen appears. But I went to move the mouse, but it should not move. I tried several different mice and keyboards, but there was no hope, both USB 3.0 and 2.0. I did some research and found that you have to enable 'Legacy Support' in the BIOS. I did this, but there was still no movement.

If someone could apply their knowledge via a comment, it would be very appreciated that I constantly tried since end of December 2015!

    Ironbreaker1, welcome to the forum.

I think that almost any video card will work on your computer.  However, there are two main considerations: 1) the amount of energy needed to run the card properly and 2) the length of the card.

You certainly need to move the power supply (PSU).  The specifications of the computer state that the PSU is internal and 180W.  Most newer video cards require at least 400W to work properly.  Normally, I would recommend a block of at least 500W Power SUPPLY; 600W is even better.

Here's a video card that should work, but it requires 400W of power.

I love the Corsair PSU.  They make quality products at a reasonable price.  The PSU is the backbone of the computer, it is not the place to save money.  This is a power supply that should work for you.  It is modular which allows you to use only the cables that are absolutely necessary.  This more than makes up for the air circulation.  You should check the space provided for the power supply to make sure it will fit.  In addition, make sure that the connectors.

  • Pavilion 550-279na: GPU and PSU upgrade for Pavilion 550-279

    Hello

I have a HP Pavilion 550-279na. While it fits most of my needs, I enjoy the occasional game and found that the GPU that is it came with, the Radeon R5 330 does not offer enough "oomph".

    http://support.HP.com/GB-en/document/c04949172

I had a quick glance and think that the Nvidia GTX 750ti would probably answer my needs.

Don't you think that this card would fit in my PC?

Also, I guess 180W POWER supply that it came with is not sufficient to run a faster GPU, you have any recommendations on the size or model that would suit the Pavilion.

My apologies if these are very secular issues, my knowledge of material isn't at the height!

    Thanks for any help.

    Charlie

    Greetings,

Your PC has the correct UEFI BIOS.

The GTX 750Ti requires a minimum 300 Watt power supply.

You must measure the space available along the existing graphics card and compare it to the length of the backup. The 750 is 5.7 inches long. The 750 is a dual slot card. Make sure you have room and you can check out a second plate of Panel rear I/O to install the card.

It must fit unless it's really tight in your chassis with the existing card.

Same problem with the power supply. Verify that you can install a power supply 350 Watt or 400 watts.

I prefer modular Corsair or Seasonic power switching.

Make sure that you disable secure boot and enable the legacy boot in the BIOS.

Also to uninstall all of the AMD graphics drivers and software before you install the card GTX 750.

    See you soon!

  • 550-153no Pavilion: four screens on a HP Pavilion 550-153no

I just bought a HP Pavilion 153no 550, and I want to connect four screens. (Not necessary for the use of heavy graphics, just for business applications).

Can I remove the supplied AMD Radeon R5 330 and install a cheap graphics card which can drive two screens? For example, the edge AMD Radeon R7 will continue to work and be capable of driving two screens, despite the withdrawal of the AMD Radeon R5 330 and her feeling that there is an another graphics card installed?

Or do I have to install a graphics card that can drive four monitors? I think the AMD over-pants W4100. There is need for power is "less than 50 W", like the AMD Radeon R5 330, which should be possible without having to upgrade the power supply?

    Hey there @RenniePet,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, the HP experts and other members of the support staff. I understand that you want to connect 4 screens on your computer and I am happy to help you with this.

Looking desktop HP Pavilion 550 - 153no product specifications, in the section on the integrated graphics card, it says "integrated graphics card does not work if a graphics card is installed.

So no, the integrated graphics card will not work with another installed graphics card. So if you try to use four screens, you will need to put in a graphics card that provides for this. The jury has only available following expansion slots:

    A PCI Express x 16 (Gen 3.0)

  • HP Pavilion 550-055na: Win 7 drivers for HP Pavilion 055na-550

    Hello

I recently bought a new HP Pavilion 550-055na here in the United Kingdom and am not too keen on the 8.1 of Windows on the machine.

I want to put Windows 7 (64 bit) on it to ensure the stability of my Pro Tools and video editing - and the use of gneral familiar. However, the page drivers is a little confused and I don't know what applies exactly to my machine.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-550-000-desktop-PC-series/7779690/model/...

In the link, I have updated the page to display the Windows 7 software. However, I am sure that some of these download options do not apply to me. For example, my machine has a "nVidia Ge Force 750"graphics card and this is not listed as a download option. It seems only options for:

nVidia Graphics Driver add-on for GT730 2 GB

nVidia Graphics Driver add-on for GT730 4 GB

    Graphics nVidia Unified Driver module

In addition to the options for the graphic card drivers, some of the other options are confused and I don't know what I should install. Either way, my network controller and sound card appear to be Realtek.

Can someone please tell me which factors listed, I should download before I have to enter the installation of the OS? Or, if it is easier, which of those I shouldn't use. Are there any that I didn't need for example? I'm guessing that some may not apply to me and than some.

Any help to this would be greatly appreciated as I lost a PC a few weeks and he had to get into service again.

    Sincere greetings

    DJ

Thanks for the reply Geekster old. Very much appreciated.

I would like to run a few things from you, if this is correct.

My specific graphics card is not listed in the available driver downloads. Does this mean that I have this source of nVidia and 'no' Internet HP site?  You must use the unified driver.

In addition, according to specifications, my network card must be a Realtek RTL8151GH-CG, but it is not listed either. Should I just go with the Realtek NETWORK card driver available for this? It's all a bit confusing.  Yes, you must use the driver for the CARD.  I agree to be confusing.  Just know that you actually cannot make a mistake because if this isn't the right driver, it will not install.

The driver listed in the downloads of driver chipset seems to be a generic "Intel" as opposed to a particular version (i.e. H87). I guess I'll take the Intel, the one with the other intel downloads in this section? Also should I it storage AMD Raid driver if I have an Intel Chipset?  Yes, install the Intel Chipset driver.  Do not install the drivers AMD or software.  HP uses different motherboards in the same model, that is why it becomes a bit confused.  Yet once, if you try to install an incorrect driver it will not install.

Sorry to ask pretty much, but I don't want to install things I'm not supposed to. I hate this technical part of computing. I use better programs than to find these things.  Believe me, you're not alone when it comes of the presentation of the pilots of no.  This is probably the area of most confusion.  I even sometimes have problems.

All wouold much appreciated precision. Thank you very much.  You are welcome.

  • Pavilion 550-110: help adding Blu - Ray desktop player

I would like to replace the existing DVD drive (tray ultra slim SuperMulti DVD burner) on a Pavilion 550-110 desktop PC with a Blu - ray player.

The existing unit is mounted vertically in the case. I replaced the DVD drive with a Blu - ray on a HP PC 500-281 player, where it has been mounted horizontally.

If this same blu - ray player could be reused on the new 550-110?

If this isn't the case, please suggest a particular (or brand) type of Blu - ray player-player. I used to look first on Amazon.com for this type of product.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

So, I download software Cyberlink Power2Go:

    No reason?

Is there any burning software can be installed in my pc?

    Hello:

I'm surprised that the software did not work.

    See if this version works...

This package provides CyberLink Power2Go in the supported models running a supported operating system. CyberLink Power2Go is a burning software that allows users to burn data, music or video disks. It offers support for CD, DVD, HD DVD and Blu - ray discs and includes features for disk copy.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp75001-75500/sp75302.exe

If that doesn't work either, I like this free software... I install the version without open candy.

    https://www.CDBurnerXP.se/en/download

The specifications of product software for your model, indicates that it does not come with any software CD/DVD burning.

  • Pavilion 550-122nd: install an ssd in Pavilion 550-122nd

I am installing an ssd in my computer (Pavilion 550-122nd).

The chassis of the computer is not as I used to know, where you could fix with the screws on the side (HD) material.

The hard drive in the 550-12 Pavilion is set on the bottom of the hard drive.

The 2.5 "to 3.5" support for the ssd in the computer doesn't have the screw holes on the bottom of the support.

Are special types of media for this? Or, how to install an ssd in the 550-122nd Pavilion?

    Thank you.

    Meribel

Personally, I wouldn't worry on the screws.

With a hard drive, these are important because they stop the car while it is in use.  But in an SSD, you have no moving parts, so there is no reason to immobilize.

I have a tower PC running on an SSD and which is simply placed on top of a tray of disk - and works very well for months!

    Good luck
