Pavilion a6200n: how to close Internet Explorer to complete installation of Adobe Flash Player update
I was installing an update to Adobe Flash Player and got a notice to close Internet Explorer to perform the update. Try as I might, I guess I couldn't close IE because the correct view comes back. I even changed my IE to Google Chrome, thinking that would surely close IE, but I just kept the advice. I would be grateful someone tell me how to close IE.
Yes. I have apopogize for not specifying the tab 'Prodesses '. This is where you select Internet Explorer by clicking on it then choocing "End task" in the lower right corner.

Anyone know how to change the password for the installation of Adobe Flash Player?
Anyone know how to change the password for the installation of Adobe Flash Player? I have tried everything that I usually use and nothing works. My Adobe ID password works perfectly. I can't complete the installation without this, and it doesn't have a 'forgotten password' button to change it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
There is no password required for the installation of Flash Player, at least not on the side of the things Adobe. It's probably the security of your computer, forcing you to you connect allowing the installation to occur. Only you would know what would be the connection for this information.

I uninstalled Adobe Flash Player and reinstalled and still receive the message. Any suggestions?
In the forum of Support Adobe their Chris Campbell has announced that they are aware of the problem and are working on it. As an interim solution, he suggests to change the automatic update to "notify me" when updates are available. Go to the control panel. Right-click on the Flash drive. Click Open. Click the Advanced tab. Select the second option "notify me". I made this change in a few hours and so far no errors arise. Since they are working on it, I guess that they will release an update to fix the update service!

How to close Internet Explorer and other programs running on Windows
Thing is: ANY program that uses the Flash can NOT be open while you install Flash Player. It's like trying to change your oil while driving on the highway.
Worst case:
Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking on the following links by right-clicking and selecting "save target as."
Flash Player ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player plug-in (all other browsers)
Save them - DO NOT run them.
Restart and before opening anything at all, run the install (s).

My office hangs after that I have close internet explorer 9
* Original title: Office Windows 7 freeze - ARGH!
My desktop freezes once I closed IE9. The taskbar works, but the icons on the desktop and right click... nothing. I read discussions on the different sites to see if there's DIY solutions that could solve this problem. I scanned with SuperSpyware, MalwareBytes, Windows Defender and Kapersky... come clean. I checked the printer drivers... seems to be out of wack, so I reinstalled only. Read somewhere that Flash is in conflict with IE9, so I reinstalled only. I rebooted in safe mode... scanned and cleaned... nothing.
I made a copy of my task under process Manager window (see below), I have 2 lines of IE... this cause a desktop would freeze problem?

How to put internet explorer in my desktop?
Have a ultrabook with windows newHP brand 8 - have the icon of internet explore on my desk and then want to be able to open multiple windows. How to put internet explorer in my desktop?
On the forum, there is a similar question, but it is said to go into the menu start and then open all programs (where is it?) and then right on internet explore and then move the slider to send to (where is it?) and create a shortcut on the desktop (don't know how)
Any help much appreciated
There are several ways, but it's easier:
Open the charm to search for and type Internet Explorer. Now, right click on the result and choose "PIN to the taskbar" in the app bar that will appear at the bottom of the screen.
