  I wonder if you can help me please?

  I have problems with my satellite internet access on my laptop wireless.  He beautifully connects to the router and the signal is excellent. However, I'm unable to connect to the internet.  I can use the laptop first thing in the morning because it connects right away, but I would say that 95% of the day I can't use it at all.  Sometimes it will work later in the evening.  I learned this could be due to the intensity of the signal and that some suppliers to fall during the day.  My desk top connects perfectly (if the weather permits it) but is not on the wireless network.  I had no problem with my laptop when I used my previous service provider.  It becomes more frustrating that the inability to use the internet visited my lap top unnecessary.  I can't use it on my neighbors wireless network no problem at all but they we internet different provider.  Can you please help because I don't know why it works first thing in the morning and sometimes late at night, but not during the day?  No matter where the lap top is the first thing in the morning, it will work even if it is forty feet away.  I can sit during the day with my phone right by my router and it still not connect to internet even though the router signal strength is excellent and desktop is on the internet.  Any help would be great, because it leads me into the wall!  I am using WIndows 7 on my lap top from acer.

  I would like to thank everyone for their help with my question.  I can tell you now that I have it solved and I'm pretty embarrassed to say the least.  Following a change of internet service provider, I put a cable into the wrong port on the router... silly me!  It works perfectly now. Thank you once again.

  Hello, I'm selling an old HP desktop that I hang out on Amazon.

  But in order for me to post on Amazon, I need to create a new list, since nobody else is for sale. To create a new list, I need a product code unique for the desktop computer. I'm looking for the Universal Product Code (UPC). A UPC code is the bar code that would be tested at the point of sale when someone buys something.

  I have a few other computers, I'm trying to sell, and on the site Web of Toshiba, the first manual I opened a laptop shows me the UPC. HP manuals don't.

  I tried to call customer service. And both times I'm hung up or disconnected. It's very frustrating because I have a very basic question, and does not have I gotten a response yet.

  If someone can find the UPC for HP Pavilion a6230n and tell me how to get the Cup for HP products in the future, I would be very happy. Thank you!

  There is no graphics removable, replaceable and upgradable 'cards' in your laptop.

  The graphics quite part of the motherboard, and to improve the graphics, you would have to see if there is a motherboard listed in the guide service and maintenance for your laptop that has better graphics.

  Replace the motherboard would be a labor intensive and expensive project.

  The motherboard of your PC has PCI slots. This means that you will need a PCI video card and not the generation of current PCI Express x 16 video cards.

  This webage Newegg shows the type of card you need. I recommend that you do not have a card with more than 512 MB RAM video.

• I can't get my PNY NVIDIA GT 520 to install in my Pavilion a6123w. I set the BIOS to PCIe

  I can't get the new video card GT 520 to stay in the Device Manager list.  I upgraded to a Psalm of 650 watts I set the BIOS to PCIe and also tried PCI.  I have disabled and also tried to uninstall the integrated video graphics card GeForce 6150 nForce 430.  The GT 520 worked twice after I leave the PC closed for several hours unplugged and then boot with the monitor connected to the GT 520 VGA connection.  Both times she came back to the integrated graphics card, which has no red color.  I have the latest driver for the installed GT 520 and he demonstrated to be driven to the integrated graphics card.  When the GT520 was working he executed perfectly and I used it for several hours each time.  The first time it worked until I close the PC (Pavilion Office a6123w) down to try to get the DVI on the GT 520 connection.  The next day, I left the PC for a few minutes after using it for about 2 hours.  When I got home, I had no signal on the screen.  I went from the connection to the integrated VGA and was back in the video.  It's the second GT 520 I tried, the first was returned to Fry, because the customer (?) support PNY suggested it might be a bad card and that I should up grade of PS.  I hope someone knows the specific steps to take to make the stay of GT520 as the main graphic.  I saw a suggestion on a site that said there may be a jumper or a way to disable the video edge physically.

  Oldwrench, welcome to the forum.

  I would uninstall all (driver, video card) that you have done and start over again.  I suggest to use Revo Uninstaller to remove the driver. I always use the advanced option. This will remove all files from the registry and hard drive.  Then, restart the system.  This should put you back where you started.

  When you install the discrete video card, integrated graphics subsystem should be automatically disabled.  Makes no changes in the BIOS.  This could be the cause of some problems.  Once this is done, you can install the latest video driver from nVidia.  Restart the system and see what happens.

  If your problem is solved, please click "accept as a Solution.

  I think I need to replace the CPU on my laptop, but not sure it's possible with this model, can anyone help please?

  The problem started when my mouse and keyboard stoped the week last in response. (The mouse pad would wake up sleep but nothing else). I was able to use a USB keyboard, so I uninstalled an update for the graphics card - as it was the last thing that done - in the hope that could solve the problem. There can be no.

  Then I went for a week and my laptop started back but this time no response on the USB port no keyboard or the other, then a BSOD that has begun to restart the laptop before I could write down the question. Now, the fan runs at life and without wire turns orange and the caps lock flashes but there is no display - on the laptop or an external monitor - I think it is just the unique expandable flash rather than a sequence that brings me to the question of the CPU.   Certainly, you can remove the hard drive and save the data with a usb adapter to SATA. The problem you are having is more like on the motherboard that the processor. CPU failures are relatively rare, but the motherboard failures are very common, unfortunately.

  And you have the E2 AMD processor that is soldered to the motherboard, anyway so replacement of the processor will necessarily involve the replacement of the motherboard.

  I can see the image now - for your Synaptics version, you must turn off the option "PalmCheck-reinforced.

  You can normally do this left click the entry, and then click the gear wheel to open the setting options - don't forget to save the setting change.

  The battery is sometimes so dead that the only way to run Notepad is to remove the battery and run from the power of a/c only.
