Hello:

There is no graphics "card" in your notebook that can be removed and replaced, as they can in many Office PC.

The graphics card in your laptop is part of the motherboard, and to improve the graphics, the entire motherboard must be replaced by another which is listed in the service manual for your laptop that can have better graphics.

  • Can I change the graphics card on HP Pavilion dv7-6c05ev?

    Hi I have a

    HP Pavilion dv7-6c05ev

my laptop is in excellent condition

    Windows 7 64 x

everything about this laprop is great, except the graphics card (radeon 7690 m) there is no real drivers for it.

I was wondering if I can improve my ATI with an NVIDIA graphics card, so I can get good drivers!

    what I can?

    Hello

Basically, you can, with a cost, and I think that this cost can be more expensive than buying a new computer because you have to take into account:

    1. New price of the card, and WHERE you can buy it because the laptop cards are not the same office maps. You can't buy any normal store,
    2. Need new card system (can be),
    3. Need new system of cooling because in general more powerful card pumps out more heat (you want more powerful card don't you?).
    4. May need new power supply because your current diet is not suitbale for the card. (I ordered a machine with the Nvidia card and I need to order a 90W charger at the same time, not the normal charger 65W. They rejected just my order.)
    5. Cost of the work.
    6. Packages a lot, a lot of aspirin.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello:

Graphics cards cannot be updated simply.

You will need to replace the motherboard with another which would have better graphics (if available for your model).

This would cost as much buying a new laptop, so it is probably not a good idea to undertake such a venture.

  • Can I upgrade the graphics card on the HP Pavilion 1b50us g6?

If it is possible to update the graphics card, which would be recommended to upgrade, I spend most of my time on this laptop computer game and it is a bit slow, I already updated the RAM 8 GB. If it is not possible to update the graphics card, which computer would be recommended for games?

    Hello:

I don't know much about laptops of games. I just use to read email and surf the web.

Yours came with a dedicated video card so it was the best you could do at the time.

You'll definitely want to buy another laptop with separate video and system not shared video memory (UMA).

I think that there is a way to transfer your own settings from one PC to another, but I've never done that before, so unfortunately, I can't help you there either.

Probably we will not be able to update of video cards up to 99% of laptops. There are a few things that make this work very hard or unprofitable:

Need new motherboard, new cooling system and a few other things. Short answer: sell your current computer and buy a new game machine.

    Kind regards.

  • "Change the graphics card" spam message when you are connected to the AC adapter / CC

Normally, I run my laptop computer Alienware 17 dedicated graphics processor NVIDIA with integrated graphics off. However, I've recently been submerged do with the following message will be displayed that plugged my AC adapter: "switch of graphics card. "For the life of optimal dough, press Fn + F5 to switch to the integrated graphics card (a system Reboot is required).

I noticed this a couple of days, because as soon as I plug my adapter by practicing a game (for example, the Lord of the Rings Online) my fps drops dramatically. I realized that if I tap ctrl + alt + delete as the above message keeps popping up. If I close the message in a new guard burst until I have unplug the power adapter.

To my knowledge, it is normal that the message appears when the plug/unplug the power adapter for the first time, but I can't understand why it is me spamming with this message even after I close it at the start. I tried to update my NVIDIA graphics card, have changed again my computer of the discrete graphics integrated graphics and back to the integrated graphics card, have made sure that NVIDIA is selected as my discrete graphics and have updated my BIOS. None of them help.

If anyone knows what's going on or if there is a way to disable this notification, I would really appreciate it!

PS My power adapter works fine (it is not loose or damaged) and I ran diagnosis at startup which showed all systems running 100%.

After much further research, I was able to find a way to disable the notification.

Windows + R, type msconfig, then click on the Startup tab to open the Task Manager and disable the display on-screen Alienware. Restart the computer, and the popup no longer appears.

  • Can I upgrade the graphics of my HP Pavilion dv4-2045dx?

Operating system: Windows 7 32 bit

The product name and number of HP Pavilion dv2-2045dx

First of all, a note on my computer: I recentley reformatted it.

    My problem:

My laptop Pavilion dv4 2045dx cannot play Diablo 3. I've waited nine years for this game to come out. Buying a new computer to play D3 is not economically feasible.

So my question is, should I upgrade graphics card in my computer? If so, can I buy the graphics card and pay a professional to install it? I never tried to upgrade a laptop before.

    Here are some notes more:

    DIABLO 3 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800 GT or ATI Radeon™ X 1950 Pro or better

    Intel® Pentium D 2.8 GHz or AMD Athlon™ 64 X 2 4400 +

    SPECIFICATIONS OF MY LAPTOP

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200 Series

AMD Turion II dual-core Mobile M500 2.2 GHz

All the advice, guys? I would gladly get a high-end Radeon card if recommend you any to me or something.

    You are the very welcome.

Sorry I couldn't bring you good news.

  • HP pavilion e073ed 17: you can replace the graphics card for hp pavilion 17e073ed

I have a HP pavilion 17e073 ed and I want to replace with a better graphics card. The problem is that I can't find anywhere if I can replace the graphics card. I want to replace it for the best benefits of games. I already bought an SSD and some more RAM.

    Hello:

There is no graphics removable, replaceable and upgradable 'cards' in your laptop.

The graphics quite part of the motherboard, and to improve the graphics, you would have to see if there is a motherboard listed in the guide service and maintenance for your laptop that has better graphics.

Replace the motherboard would be a labor intensive and expensive project.
