Pavilion dv2500 loading problems.

I have a HP Pavilion dv2500 Notebook PC and I just bought a new battery about two weeks ago. My laptop is less than two years and it took me about six months to get a new battery for my laptop. In this period, I use my laptop on my power adapter only with no problem. Now that I have a new battery, I noticed that my laptop has problems of load. It will charge the battery but only if the ca is in a certain position and nothing 'bumps' in there. Six months ago, I took my laptop to my college to check the life expectancy of the AC and my college said it was perfectly fine. I did yet another health check, but I wonder what could cause this problem. The battery again, and this problem just started after I started using a battery on my laptop. I think that my AC is about a year, too.

If I take the battery and the only laptop running on the AC, it won't work unless there again, it is in a certain position. And again, this battery is brand new and before she would charge perfectly fine. My power adapter could be dying or will I have another hardware problem? Because it's the only problem I've had.

If you have not tried with a different AC adapter, I'll try to see if I could borrow one and try that first.  If it still does the same thing, then I would say it is the seizure of power on the Board of Directors.  I don't know your whole model number but the link is for the service and maintenance manual for a 2500.  It will show the procedure to disassemble and fixing it.  Being to shake autour decision-making, I would say that it's a bad shot.  The link I posted in the previous post is for the usb card.  I just showed you that if you can see how the decision-making was there.  It just buy the plug with cable, and not to the usb Board.

  • HELP ASAP! problems with hp pavilion dv2500 display driver

Product: HP Pavilion dv2500 Entertainment Notebook PC

OS: Windows Vista editions Home Premium

    Hello

I had several cases where the computer seems 'lag '.

then, after a few flickers on my screen, Windows would give the error:

"Display driver stopped responding and has recovered.

There are still effects after this message.

When dragging windows, scrolling top-down graphics etc. continue to Flash.

Initially, this happened when I opened multimedia programs such as youtube but is more consistent. I'm afraid of losing all the information and do not want to get a new computer. I got this hp for nearly four years. Is that what I can do to solve this problem. Help, please!

    Hello

First, Download the following driver for Nvidia MCP67M (Please confirm if this is correct) listed for Vista from here:

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp37501-38000/sp37860.exe

To check that the video card is on your system, go Start type of search to tab dxdiag and press on Enter. A window will appear. Confirm with YES if any message and click on the display tab located at the top left near tab System . You should see the name of your video card and the manufacturer.

Second, go to Panel > programs and features and see in the list if the Nvidia driver is listed. Uninstall the Nvidia driver and restart the PC. If not, then go to Panel > system > Device Manager (left toward the top corner) > double click on adapters.

You should see the video card. Click with the right click on the Nvidia video card and select Uninstall. Click OK to uninstall.

If a message appears and asks if you want to remove the driver files, Select the check box , and then click OK. Restart the computer.

Third, run the driver downloaded earlier and follow the instructions. Is required to restart the system if the installation program does not work.

    Please post the results.

    Best regards

I already perform some troubleshooting method.

    the first thing I did.

is that I perform a RESET of my modem.

because I think that the IP of my laptop has been block by my modem.

If, after that, it's the same. It can not detect our wifi.

    second is.

    I reformat WINDOWS Vista x 64.

    but it's the same thing.

It can only detect our neighbors wifi. but our is not.

    Hi @BooJimBoo,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems, with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the HP laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your Hp Pavilion dv2500 Notebook and problems with the wireless connection. Try to reset the router. Wait 30 seconds before plugging and unplugging the router to make sure, it resets completely. Here is a link for troubleshooting wireless connection, if you need. Section I fell better help is the key to security is changed 3. To establish a new connection to the wireless network, return to the network sharing Center window, select set up a connection to a network.

If the problem persists, I would change the channel on the router. Routers are able to communicate to your laptop on several different channels. You can contact your Internet provider.

Some say that this download will help fix this Microsoft Fix it.

Here is a linkto help as well.

Please let me know how it goes.

  • Satellite L300 - boring loading problems

    Hello world.

I've got my Satellite L300 nice for about 23 months now, and I absolutely love it.
There is just one problem: my PC is not loading properly. There are always about a 1/50
lucky, I have to play with the inputs and output for all 5-10 minutes each
I plug it in time. I had this problem before (about two months ago) where I sent it
Back to the store and they fixed. I was able to pick up there is still almost a month
    and everything worked properly again.

It's really, really frustrating and I hope there is a solution simple sorta.
Anyone who is familiar with this problem and to know what exactly is the problem?

    Thank you in advance.

This kind of technical problems, there is no simple solution.
If you have a serious issue with load problem, it is probably related to electronic power supply and it must be checked by authorized personnel only.

Tell me but honestly: what can you fix these problems?

  • Satellite L30-10 x loading problems

I have my laptop at the moment load problems and I don't know what part of the computer is the problem.
I have the cable but it only works when the portable operating system on a certain position then so I try to move it, it stops charging...

My cable is not in perfect condition, so that's what I think it is but I can't and won't replace the erroneous part...

Only other things I can think of are the port where you plug the charger or the battery

If the cable is damaged, you must stop using it and replace it as soon as possible. It could and cause damage to the laptop or home computer.

  • Pavilion DV2500: my HP pavilion DV2500 laptop won't turn on but displays an indication that his load

Hi, please I really need help on my laptop. I try to turn on but the switch does not work, but it shows only the only blue light which indicates that its charge every time that I plug. I really don't know what could be wrong, but its really sad because I have a lot of important things on this PC, I need an immediate answer on what it takes to this topic please

You mean you can get a new motherboard? Yes, but all motherboards AMD for this series have problems. They are not news so all of them were made at the same time and are subject to the same problems. It is now quite obsolete. A new motherboard will cost perhaps $135. There are services on the internet that will repair the motherboard for as little as $50 if you can remove it and ship just the motherboard. You could get another year or so out of it, if you do this. Personally, I would say computers laptops have come a long way since 2009 when your was carried out and for about $500, you can get good news. I can't really predict exactly what laptop model will suffer no problems on the road. In General, if you want more reliability then think on one of the business models, but you look at closer to $1,000 for one of those.

    Post back with more questions.

  • Pavilion: continuous, starting problem

Hi I bought a computer hp pavilion laptop less than last year, Windows 8. It worked perfectly until 5 days ago. I put it the morning of Friday, March 20. It came as usual with the home screen. However I couldn't cursor th on the documents folder to allow j to reach in my computer (I intended to connect to a Wi - Fi signal). When I couldn't for get the machine that never leave like that before, I decided to drop-down menus.

I restarted and eventually the screen saying "Windows gets loan do not turn off your computer. It happened like that ALL day. That evening, I pressed the power button and it came out. When I powered up, he stood under the same thing. Let him Friday evening to Sunday evening and he always looked and has remained the same. Today is Wednesday, and there has been no change. I took out the battery today, twice and it powered on and it still showed the loading screen saying Windows is preparing. Please, please help!

    @Cheen7 ,

Hello again.  Well at this point you have nothing to lose.

First ring diagnostics from the BIOS for your system.  If it comes with hard disk problems, then replace the hard drive.

If this isn't the case, perform a full recovery of the system and this will load everything back to the original configuration.

Laptops HP - diagnostic system (F2)

    PC HP hardware diagnostics

So, as I said, run diagnostics and if they go up all clear then do the system recovery.

Performing a recovery of HP (Windows 8) system

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

  • G7-2269wm Pavilion: update BIOS problems

I have a HP Pavilion G7, which recently had a bad encounter with a 'spill '.  Not at all turns.  I replaced the card mother and keyboard.  Now it turns on, but it does not boot to Windows.  Looking in the BIOS, I realized the version is very old and it lacks certain robot like legacy and UEFI boot of choice.  I am looking for a way to Flash the BIOS with a current version, but so far have not found a solution that would work in my case.  Is it possible to make a bootable media with the BIOS version I want to use and Flash the BIOS on the HP Pavilion?  I would appreciate any advice you can give.

Other things to note.  I remove the hard drive and disc control execution on him and he has no problem.  When I boot from a disc to install Windows on the HP with the original drive installed, I can access the drive through command prompt and see that the installation of Windows is intact.  The hard disk is configured for the GPT, and as the BIOS limited startup options, I came to the conclusion that the BIOS needs to be flashed.  Thanks for your time.

If the drive with another installation of Windows allowed me to launch the BIOS install package and Flash the BIOS with the latest version.  After it finished, I reinstalled the original hard disk and the computer loads Windows now on the original hard drive.  I thank very you much for your suggestions TheOldMan.

  • Pavilion DV9008NR BIOS problem 8 32-bit Windows

    I have a mobile Pavilion DV9008NR older:

    RAM - 2 GB RAM

    CPU - Athlon Turion 64 x 2 TL-50 1.6 GHz

    Motherboard - Quanta 30B 9

    Chipset - NVIDIA GeForce 6150

Southbridge - NVIDIA NForce 410/430 MCP

    BIOS HP F.43 22/03/2010

-GPU of NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 (UMA) (MS Bsic Disply C52 A.2 adapter graphics card

This has been previously loaded with WinXP SP3 with nLite slipstreamed 1.42 to load SATA drivers.  He was previously the BIOS flashed to F.43 (latest version).

He was 'clean' updated with Windows 8 Pro Upgrade after passing all the tests.

After reboot, I got the standard HP/Phoenix BIOS screen with the usual guests for BIOS Setup and boot order.

Every time after that, the guests disappeared and Win8 charge * fast * as usual.

Feature to win 8 seems to be in good condition, and necessary Ricoh 5-in-1 and drivers NVIDIA coprocesser loading without difficulty.

I went back to my old image of WinXP and loaded several times BIOS normally with and invites you.

After reloading Win8, back to problems of any invites after the first reboot.

Try or during the BIOS support is * not * enter you the BIOS or boot order Setup.

It seems that somewhere Win8 is "anticipate" normal "flow" of the BIOS.

I understand that Win8 has a feature to take control to prevent the takeover of boot sector malware.

Is this what is happening?  (Which becomes a real problem with and may be necessary).

Is this a bug in the BIOS, or

    Is there something else.

    Thank you ~.

Just talked to the MS Support for something different and wondered about it.

Obviously, on some machines, this is * normal * and is the result of the function "Secure Boot.

The answer is... you need to use the 'restart' instead of 'Shut Down' to prepare the system to give the menu .

  • HP Pavilion dv6837el monitor problem

    Hi all...

I have a HP Pavilion dv6837el with nvidia geforce m8400gs, and since yesterday, I have some problems of monitor.

When I start the laptop I see not the views of the bios loading, the monitor starts to run when windows is in place, too, the resolution does not work, is no more mine default option resolution, so I can see a huge black stripe to the right if I set 1024 x 860 and I see all the office if I try to lift it up.

In addition, there is a strip from the top of the screen that recurs in the toolbar of windows launch.

I tried to reinstall the nvidia driver, but nothing has changed.

That is right.  Share of repair/replacement of the motherboard, there is no solution.

There are a few without cool do it yourself videos from YouTube to try to repair the GPU problem.

If you are not experienced with completely disassemble a laptop, which is not easy, so I do not recommend.

  • Image of v38.0.1 of Firefox with google (and, probably, other websites...) of loading problems

My partner comes this brought to my attention since this is his preferred method of Googling...

If we seek to use the google image tab, some images don't load and we do not see the usual 'view' image / visit the site when clicked on said image...

He noticed a few days ago, and it works very well with google chrome or explore internet (shrug).

Hmm. WamJam seems to have been the source of the problem. My partner said it was necessary to play a flash game yesterday and I found it suspicious. Of course, this has been the case. Googling that it resulted in several malicious software results...

So removed, tripple cleaned, crushed, then 3 decades of cleaning later, it works again.

Thanks for the help and your patience at all.

  • message returns server timed out: own yellow page loading problem happens

as above, am not able to access the search engine, unless I use an old, comes with expired if I try to access it via an email that this time also out.seems have a problem with the security - baffled

You can access a single search engine but not another? Is one that you can access a regular site as https://www.google.com/ or https://www.yahoo.com/ or is this something custom that may have been installed by an add-on?

    Which security errors receive you:

    • The secure connection failed
    • This connection is Untrusted

If you get a load of the partial page with orange "!" triangle in the address bar, remember that you have to make exceptions of security for the site?

  • disable hardware acceleration set my image loading problem. is there another way to get around this?

    System details:
    OS: Windows 8.1 Professional (64-bit)
Graphics card: PNY NVidia GT 610 (2 GB)
    RAM: 5 GB
    Firefox version: 36.0 (32-bit)

Since yesterday, when the images would load on Web sites, some of them would be entirely black, or black for the most part, with only a piece of the images loaded, only to fully charge a few minutes later.

Disabling hardware acceleration has solved this problem, but reduces the overall performance of firefox. Is there another way to work around this problem, not to mention that disabling hardware acceleration?

Note: The only 2 things I have tried have been reset firefox and a new installation of firefox. I don't want to lose my data of the addon and the custom settings of firefox, because it takes too much time for me to put them back where they are now.

I'm also pretty computer savvy, if you can get quite technical with me. If I don't understand something, I ask.
