What is the complete model number or the product number of your laptop?
Many products are on the label as well as the serial number.
Other than graphics, here are the other drivers you need...
Ethernet: 3rd driver on the list.
1 driver on the list...
This will install HP 3D DriveGuard, which offers protection for internal laptop disk drive if the computer accidentally falls or suddenly hits another object. This package is available on mobile phones supported with supported operating systems.

I have a HP Pavilion DV4-1225dx, I bought at bestbuy and I am running windows 7 64 bit, I was wondering if there was drivers availible for remote control of my laptop, I would prefer not having to install the whole suite of HP, but I'd do it if it means I could make it work I used 64-bit drivers for vista for the rest of the machine and they all worked perfectly, but for remote control Setup crashes my whole upward machine when I try to start it, if anyone has any ideas?
Try this driver.
Hello, I have a Core i5 Pavilion dv4, wich is recently have frozen, and then a BSOD appears with stop 0x000000F4. I checked for software issues, but everything is normal. I ran the memory and the disk self-test with results 03F0 in two tests.
I noticed that when I do the computer work stronger than normal (e.g. a 6 GB on an external disk file copy), or as when installing Adobe Master Collection CS5, the computer freezes at a part of the installation and then the HARD drive is not recognized by the BIOS, so I have to on your computer (then turn on turn off).
After X times to get the same question, I look for the events in the event viewer, I get only an event source 'Disk', with the comment «the driver detected a controller on \Device\Harddisk error...» "blah blah blah... This event is coded: 11.
What could be?
I also have a problem with the WebCam, it is not recognized by the software.
Help! Please...$ $ DJ-JaaM
03F0 is a failure of the bios hard disk test, you may well need to replace.
It may be useful to check the following running. Click on the Start Menu, computer, left click Local disk C once to highlight, right-click Local disk C and select Properties. Click the Tools tab and then click on the button "check the drive for errors. In the next window make sure that both boxes are checked, then click Start. Part of this process will require a reboot to check the disk. After the restart, as Windows checks the HARD disk, keep a watch for the number of defective sectors found.

For a long time, I had a same problem installing drivers. I finally got out it was because I have my program files all together for my E drive (my C drive is a smaller SSD). I made the necessary changes to my system to allow the drivers to be installed on the C drive. After installation I copied the entire tree on my E drive and changed my system to install on E.
Since that every time I try to print I am told that the printer is offline. I can't open the scanner either. Windows find the printer successfully, and I'm able to do things like check my ink level. I can not print correctly on other computers on my network so I know the printer is fine.
The printer in question is a Photosmart HP 6510, computers are all windows 7 and connections are all wireless.
I am sure that the problem is the way I have all my files on my E drive program and not my C drive at 90%. The ideal solution would be for the HP Installer to assume not only that I want things on C, but I don't see that changing at any time soon. Anyone with advice on how it works?
I set up a laboratory and recreated the error code that you receive when you try to change the drive in which the software is installed to. I'm able to successfully download, extract and install the HP software on my E: drive by following the steps below:
1. Please make sure that there is no HP printing software installed on your C: drive, even if it's just the basic print drivers go ahead and remove them.
2. clear your temp folder on the C: drive: click on your Start Menu in the search box type %temp% and delete the files.
3. Please make sure you back up your registry before proceeding to #4.
4. has created a folder on your D: drive and name it 'Test'.
5. click on your Start Menu and search for "regedit", once you are in the follow-up record this way:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > current Version
6. now that you are in the registry, I need you to right click on the following files and select Edit and change your:
ProgramFilesDir to D:\Test
ProgramFilesDir (x 86) to D:Test (x 86)
ProgramFilesPath to Test %
ProgramW6432Dir to D:\Test
7. now, we can go ahead and download the drivers and full software features. Once you have clicked on the download, select Save as using the drop-down arrow and select computer and select your E: drive, click Open, and then save. Once downloaded go ahead and select RUN.
You should now be able to install on your E: drive, as stated previously I managed to clear the error and changing the drive in which the software was the installation by following the directions above.
Please keep me updated and I would like to know if it is a resolution that is successful for you or if you need more help, I'd be happy to help you.
Thank you very much
Hello, I installed windows 7 ultimate 64-bit on my HP Pavilion G6 2005ax after formatting. I downloaded and installed all my drivers from here . But '2011 Ralink 802.11 b/g/n WiFi Adapter "and"Ralink 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN Adapter Driver "doesn't install. There are yellow symbol on "Network controllers" in Device Manager. I could succcessfully install the bluetooth driver but I can't find any device, or it gets discovered. Please help someone. Thank you.
Depending on the hardware ID will keep you (USB\VID_0CF3 & PID_311D & REV_0001), that decodes an Atheros bluetooth radio.
I have formatted the hard drive of my laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-712, downloaded the sound and drivers BT of this amazing site.
But there is still a problem.
In Device Manager, there are yellow signs with the realtek drivers and bt. I don't know what to do?
Please, you can list the steps for a correct installation for these drivers?
BCZ I'm crazy... :(
First question: why you n t use the Toshiba Recovery CD?
This CD contains all the drivers, tools and utilities, and you do not have to install any drivers separately
Secondly: The Toshiba driver page, you should find the installation instructions document
Just follow the order of installation mentioned in the txt file and everything should work!
PS: Don't forget to use the right drivers. I think that the A100-712 is outside the PSAA9E series
I have the Bluetake BT007EX bluetooth usb adapter. Pilots who placed on CD is "Toshiba Blutake Stack. I try to upgrade to a newer version in http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/directlink.php?snr=2 version 4.00.36. After the message "Insert the Bluetooth device and click OK" nothing happenes and I wait 10 minutes...
Device Instance Id VID_0A12 & PID001 and I can not find in the folder with the new drivers inf file containing this Instance ID of device.
Help me please.
Usually, if you have no product problem with Toshiba, you check the support page because they have enough experience with own products. In any case, install the USB first and if you are sure that the device is listed in Device Manager and State indicates that this unit can be used, install the BT stack. My friends has produced similar Belkin and it configured on Satellite M40 on this path.
Have you activated the BT device before installing?
I was helping my sister set up his new printer HP Photosmart 5510e on a laptop that has Windows 7 64 bit. She was not wearing the disc so had to download the drivers from the HP website. Since she has downloaded the drivers, the computer not giving him stop, go to the Task Manager, or do much. I have check that she went to the site of HPs. Has anyone else had problems with their computersw after installing the drivers? I don't know what to do.
Follow the steps below to completely remove the HP software. Let me know if you still have problems with the laptop after uninstalling the software?
1. type % temp % in run
2. look for a folder called 7z? Example: 7zS6D6F, and then open it.
3. open the contents of the file Util
4. open the folder titled CCC
5. If you have an HP computer, run L3uninstall.bat. If your computer is not HP, then run the L4uninstall.bat
6. once the uninstaller cleaning brush is finished, restart the computer.
I lost sound after installing Vista SP1 Ultimate on my HP Pavilion Dv4... everything was fine before. Help, please.
Go to the HP support website and search for Windows Vista drivers for your specific model number. Also look for recent updates, even if your PC comes with Windows Vista preinstalled.
If there are Vista drivers then download to a folder on your hard drive and install all of them, starting with the installation card mother/chipset drivers, then the SATA, LAN, Audio, drivers and other device drivers.

I would be grateful if you could direct me to the drivers Windows XP for HP Pavilion dv4 - 1228ca.

Please check first that link written by Joshua Wood and concentrate on problems that may appear when you install the sound card in it. I don't know then it's dv5 guide, but a lot of hardware and drivers are the same for both models.

4. find your audio driver Vista on this DVD where you burned C:\Swsetup folder. It can also work under XP.
When you install a sound driver with checking the success is your sound work.
If there is no sound after reboot check this thread. There is information how to fix this problem.

Do a manual installation
Go to Device Manager, right click on the unknown device,
Choose update driver, not to communicate.
Choose the install from a list or a specific location, not search, have-disk,
Navigate to the location of machine.inf.
Do it for the rest of the unknown devices.Message edited by Daniel_Potyrala on 12/09/2009 15:53
I have a HP Pavilion dv4-1120br, I know that this model of HP laptop is old, but I instaled the 64 bit of Windows 10 on my machine and saw that my BIOS is version F.30 and the last of them available on the site of HP F.66 has.
The problem is that this model is not suport for Windows 10 because, as I said, is too old. Can I download and run the update of the BIOS for Windows 7 64-bit available in the Web site, or I need to downgrade my OS to Windows 7, update the BIOS and then pass it back to Windows 10?
Thanks for the help!
Let me welcome you on the HP forums!
Your second proposal is correct - as the updates to the BIOS on the HP site are specific to the OS version and if you try to run one for Win7 in Win10, it will refuse to run.

I currently have problems with my computer's CD drive. He has been unable to read discs of any kind of music, DVDS and software programs for several months now. The main problem seems to be with an inability to properly install the driver for the cd drive.
When running "find and solve the problems" of section "Troubleshooting" in the Control Panel, I get an error message that says that there is a problem with the driver for the cd drive. Whenever I try to install the driver, he is not able to do so and contact the manufacturer of your computer. I also tried to download all the updates and I get essentially the same message.
Also, here's all that I've done so far. I followed all these steps, but the last two listed in the help or support of the site. Here is the link I used:
I couldn't do a restore of the system in step 7, because the last date that I could find to a restore point has been today (or yesterday). In addition, I couldn't do step 8.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
See if ongoing automated microsoft fix tool for you works.
If AutoCorrect does not work, try the manual fix in section "Let Me difficulty it myself, ' on the link below.
Right to the title of this topic is a "click here to view the solution."

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook and problems with installing Windows 8.1. First of all, try to click on the Windows icon, type services in the start search box, and then click or tap on the advice of local Services. Scroll down to the Windows Installer. Startup type must be - automatic and the service status should be - has begun. Restart the computer after this stage and try to reinstall.
Your system came with 64-bit Windows. You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows. Please restart the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed!
If you have an error message could you let me know what it is.
Please let me know how it goes.
