  My laptop was purchased in 2007 and ran from Windows Vista. Vista was so bad in 2013 at the beginning, I installed Windows 8 (at the cheap price).  I do not regret the change, but it left me with one problem...

  During the upgrade of the W8 display driver has been changed to the display driver Microsoft Basic. It has distorted the image on the screen.  It reduces an image North/South (so a perfect on-screen circle resembles an ellipse). A picture of a car seems extremely strange. I tried to download the latest driver on the HP site, but it will not let me install - error message says it is only for Vista, and the installation is complete. The HP Web site confirms that there is no suitable driver for installation of Windows 8 on my laptop.

  Is there no workaround solution for this please. Grateful for any advice.

  There is that one way, I don't know to get the graphics to work directly with the W8 (and W7 too).

  Download and run this driver. You can get an error not supported operating system or something like.

  Conclusion of any windows error.

  Now, go into the Device Manager. Click to expand the section graphics cards. Click on the graphics card of Microsoft Basic. Click the Driver tab click on Update driver.

  Select the browse my computer for Driver Software method, navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the above driver.

  This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp42635.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

  After you restart, you should have the correct nVidia graphics display card installed.

  According to the specifications of your system, you have the Gigabit Intel 82566DC-2 network connection.

  OK, this is my last chance. If this does not work, I don't know what to tell you...

  I took the driver file and extract the files in a compressed folder, I named the network drivers. I downloaded on my space Skydrive Ms.

  Download the file, Unzip it and make sure that you take note where you saved to. It should record in your downloads folder in Windows 7.

  Now, click your network adapter in Device Manager, click on update driver driver. Select the browse my computer for the software option. Navigate to the folder that you have unpacked with network drivers and see if it loads the drivers then. If not, I give up.

  Whenever I search for it, all other sites brings me to page official hp, with drivers for windows 8/8.1 and ubuntu is available.

  All drivers above installed well and I think they work perfectly. IntelRapidST-sp56163, but this program does not start automatically. I have to run it manually each time you start.

  You should be able to use all the W8.1 drivers and software (except the BIOS and firmware files) of the 14 t-ab000.

  For graphics, use the latest Intel driver listed and graphics drivers from nvidia.

  When I use the vSphere client to display and manipulate in my XP virtual machine, the video goes crazy. This just started happening, I used XP virtual machines successfully for months. Here is a picture of the problem. It begins as a color of pixelation on any open window, then it spreads to the entire screen. VMtools are installed.

  

  I thought about it. I had the incorrectly installed vmtools. I had VMware-tools-windows - 9.10.0 - 2476743 installed. I installed VMware-tools-windows - 9.4.10 - 2068191 instead, and I've not had the problem.

  I was looking for a video driver for Windows 7 with no luck.  The I need for the computer is a Dell Dimension 4600 with integrated video.  When I tried the Dell Web site, they show only a driver for XP, because I'm assuming that it was the only BONE the 4600 can run without its standard equipment.  The RAM has been improved to 1.75 GB, so 7 will run on it without any problem, but the only screen resolution that works is 640 x 480.  I tried to go into the advanced settings, the list of all the screen modes, but when I select a higher resolution, reduce it, maximize, and close buttons go black and parts of the screen are becoming blurred.  I tried two different monitors, so I'm sure I just need a driver.  I can't find one that fits.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!!!

  Call Dell and ask if the driver you need exist. If they tell you

I downloaded the correct driver from the related city, it was for windows 8, I installed it and it gives the display a more sharp than before installation, but it was not as cool and sharp as it was in Windows 8 pre-installed. The text and any other presentation does not look much sharper and stronger as it should. so waiting for a new version of the display driver Windows Pro 8.1. Please answer and mention it in a link as soon as it is available for download.
