  Hey guys. I have a laptop HP Pavilion dv6-2155dx with a Intel Centrino Wireless - N 1000 wifi card. The card was to die for a long time now and about to go off completely.   The maintenance manual does not list a Centrino Wireless - N 1000 card. You must not only the correct chip, but he must have a part number of HP.   Your graphics card is part of the motherboard (motherboard) for your model, you will have to remove the card from the system, and even if you did, I doubt you'd get the resolution you want. Your model is not a portable game and for a higher resolution, I suggest that you look at a portable game or a desktop PC.

  It seems that the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 320GB hard drive you can use a 500 GB hard drive but not a hard drive of 250 GB. The main problem you will have to avoid is that latest hdds Advanced Format (AF) will cause major problems and probably a return for Vista recovery disks.

  There should be no problem with the warranty as long as you don't break something trying to install the HARD drive.

  HP will not support the SSD however and your recovery disks don't work because the new drive must be the same size the 500 GB HARD drive you removed.

  Hello I'm always hawing trouble when reinstalling windows on my dv6-2131el with the search for all drivers.

  Now, I have installed nearly all the drivers almost all of hp.com cos I don't need them all the fingerprints of exp. unlock I didn't need cos I don't haw as hardver instaled on my machine and why is it there yet for me to download when my machine does not have a nwm tho.

  I used the DVD I reinstal windows using system recovery, but after I put in the DVD 5 and pressed "continue" to restart the system, I just get (after the first screen where by pressing ESC, you go to the Start Menu) wrote a black screen with "No boot device - insert boot disk and press any key".
  Any suggestions on how I can complete the installation of windows?
