Pavilion dv6 - 7043cl: Reinstall Intel WiDi, HP compatible version on 64 bit Win 7 Pavilion DV6

On my Pavilion dv6 - 7043cl, with Windows 7 (64-bit), I had been using the Intel WiDi successfully to the screen of my computer on my 50 LG Smart 3D TV, except for the display of 3D images processed in the correct 3D TV fit-a proven program (Stereoscopic Player).   To try to resolve the problem of 3D, I've updated the Intel's WiDi with the latest version on the Intel site, only to discover that I had missed a message indicating that another version of HP OEM of WiDi has been set up by HP for the maverick graphic processor on my dv6, requiring the HP software update.  Thus, subsequent attempts to use the WiDi Intel--update failed;  computer to TV connection has been detected, but on the TV screen, rather than get a duplicate of my computer screen, I got a box in the lower right corner, saying something like "Miracast connection".  After the disappearance of this box, nothing on the TV and the message on the computer returns to "disconnected".

I tried to restart - tried again, same result.  Through HP Support Assistant, drilling up to my description of the computer and looking at the updated list.  Under something like "Displays and Multimedia. I found the HP Intel WiDi update and tried to apply it.  Unfortunately, the result was a message that I had already "installed a newer version" (apparently the update I had applied since the Intel web site).  As a result, I thought that I had to reinstall the Intel WiDi basis from a registered source file and update the list update HP rather than use the one on the Intel Web Site.

So I uninstalled the Intel WiDi of the "programs and features" in the Panel.  Now I can not find a setup file for the base WiDi that works with my computer!   Question: How do you recommend I have restore the HP Intel WiDi for Windows 7 (64 bit) version?

Hello:

I found the Intel Wireless Display software under the section multimedia driver on your laptop support and driver page.

Of course, I would have thought that he would have been entered in the section of the wireless driver...

This package contains the Intel Wireless Display software for the laptop models running a supported operating system. Intel Wireless display software allows users to view information and video on a remote monitor or a TV equipped with a device that supports the technology Intel Wireless display (WiDi). This software runs only on systems that meet the eligibility criteria specified by Intel.

File name: sp63552.exe

Moral of the story... You can expect the unexpected.

  • Intel WiDi question with my Satellite L750

    Hello

I bought the new WiFi module on ebay and Intel 7260 supports wifi 867Mbps (in theory) speed and Bluetooth 4.0.

WiFi works perfectly but the problem is Bluetooth device is not listed in Device Manager, I tried to install the driver, but there is no change...

Then I tell myself, actually, "I don't need Bluetooth, I need WiDi"!

True, it's that Windows7 is unable to see PGI (Intel HD Graphics 3000 @ i3-2330). I tried to install WiDi software then installation is not started and said 'your graphics driver and your device are not compatible. Yes, because I have nVidia gt520 and pressed 'nVidia Optimus' can I get the latest version of the nvidia driver, but there is no change.

I need my own Cpu IGP to install WiDi software,.

My phone Galaxy S3 connects and reflects its screen very quickly and is a stable connection, so the TV works fine. The TV is the current model of Samsung UA60H7000AW.

I understand that the issue could be the graphics drivers, I updated the Intel HD Graphics 4000 drivers but that did nothing.

  • Intel WiDi

I need to install Intel WiDi to connect new tomy smart TV, I have a

HP ENVY notebook - 15 t-k200 CTO (ENERGY STAR) computer and when I try to run the WiDi software, I get the message that I need to install one of the following wireless adapters:

    • Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160
    • Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
    • Intel® Dual Band Wireless-N 7260
    • Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265
    • Intel® Dual Band Wireless-N-7265

Any of these are compatible with my laptop? Who would you recommend?

    Hello:

Since HP seems to have removed from the whitelist of the BIOS, you should be able to install one of these to your laptop wireless cards.

The problem is that if you disassemble the notebook, you will void the warranty, because according to the maintenance manual, go to the wireless card is a procedure to be done by an authorized service center.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-envy-15-K200-notebook-PC-series/7527530/model/7757377/manuals

So, if you are real and is not afraid to take virtually the laptop everything goes to the wireless card and don't care about the risk of voiding the warranty...

It is also hoped that your model has two antenna cables connected to the wireless card.  The manual shows two, but some people have reported only a single lead in some models with some wireless cards.

If you don't have, or are planning to get a router AC wireless, I'd go for the cards N dual band wireless 7260 or 7265.

The 7265 is more recent than the 7260.

I just went in the same situation with my laptop HP 350 G1 business. WIDI works very well when you install a compatible wireless card.

If your model includes switchable graphics, which can be a show-stopper.

You can see what I had to do on the link below... Mine has just integrated graphics card Intel HD 4400 and it was very easy access to the wireless card.

I m not very well, but I think that Intel WiDi version which is part of the TV does not support the Miracast. The TV is in 2012 and the Miracast was announced in 2013

To my knowledge the Intel new Wireless Display v3.5 support Miracast.
