  You need drivers.

  Go to HP.com and click on the button that says scan now. It will scan your system for software and drivers missing or obsolete.

  Here is a link to the drivers; you will need your product number.

  You can find the number for your product by holding down the FN key and pressing ESC

  I needed to re - install Windows 7 64 bit on a drive of the main partition renovated in my HP Pavilion dv6 notebook wife.

  The model number is dv6-6b58sa

  • as well as others like Documentation HP, HP on screen display etc.

  According to me, were in the provided factory installation.  Can you tell me where I can get all these from?

  I just installed a new version of windows 7 Home premium x 86

  Hello Qanea.

  I looked at the failure code and confirms the results of the test.  The video card (the card integrated Intel HD) is having problems.  It probably needs to be replaced because the question is right after a reinstall of Windows.

  Have you tried running HP Support Assistant to ensure that the laptop is to install all the correct drivers?  Here is a link.

  Could you provide me the product number?  I can use this information to get you details instructions to replace the motherboard, which is the most likely solution to this question.  This document can show you where it is located.

  Using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

  I downloaded all the drivers from the following URL: -.

  3 validity sensor driver (No. SimplePass Identity Protection software has been installed).

  4. quick launch HP software (after extraction, the compatibility error screen, so I click on reinstall with the recommended settings, but no difference).

  Yes you can try to identify the hardware info induvidually and download the drivers from the website of its manufacturer, it may or may not work.

  The best way is to restore the operating system to the factory delivered one, so it shouldn't have any problems with the NB.

  You can order the CD from recovery online or call HP.

  I have already explained how I got 3 USB driver you are interested in.  You can just google the hardware ID if you don't know what the identification code.

  The third part of your question, I need some info on your part...

  Because the model you have is a CTO (set up to order), HP does not list the specifications.

  So I do not know if your computer has been configured with just the graphics card Intel HD or the AMD/Intel switchable.

  Easy to say... Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category graphics cards.

  If there is no graphic driver installed, the device you see here will be labeled a Standard VGA adapter.

  If you have just the Intel graphics card, you will see a listed Standard VGA adapter.

  If you have the switchable graphics, you'll see two adapters VGA Standard listed.

  If you already know what the graphical installation program you have, you can let me know without looking at (unless you want to confirm).

  Once you let me know what that Setup graphic you have, I'll post the link to the correct graphics driver you are needed, there are a few listed and only one will work.

• Pavilion dv6 wireless network card drivers?

  I just finished reinstalling a new windows 7 64 bit on my laptop of uncles engaged. I reinstall the drivers and the only one missing is wireless network card driver. I run the scan on the HP site and it came not with all the drivers for the wireless adapter. It does not show that I have more drivers that need to be installed or updated. But still the wireless adapter does not work. I can't find the driver anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. It is a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop.

  So, after creating my set of rescue disks, I will proceed to repartition/format the hard drive and install 32 bit Win XP Pro (Yes, I know he manages only the 3.2gigs of ram, but I don't like).

  Anyone know where I can find drivers for HP Pavilion DV6-6C05EW (A7Q77EA) for Windows 7 64-bit?

  This model is not listed on any page of HP drivers.

  I looked at the specs of your laptop and you should be able to use all the drivers of this model on the link below.

  But first, you have to go on the AMD website and download and install the AMD chipset driver and restart.

  The first file listed.

  HP does not include the chipset drivers for one of their notebooks to consumers equipped with AMD processors for some reason any.

• Pavilion dv6-7002AX: get the drivers of USB tokens after reloading Windows

  I recently installed a Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB SSD and Win 7 Ultimate (64 bit) on my computer laptop Pavilion dv6-7002AX (* NOTE *-purchased in Australia) and most of the time it went well. The current problem I have is the SM Bus controller and USB controller is listed as a problem in the Device Manager. It seems to be missing the drivers and I got the ID of material below. If you can provide me a download link of this equipment / these drivers, it would be greatly appreciated.
