Pavilion dv6t-7000: the black screen at startup error

My computer was slow for a few days now and yesterday it froze completely upward if I pressed the power button until it turned off and I tried to start it again to the top. It did the windows on screen for about 15 seconds then the screen went black and all I had, it was a cursor on a black screen. Fan always on, keypad lights, turntable CD upward. I tried a hard reset with battery, I don't have an external monitor to try, I tried reinstalling the RAM, I tried updating the BIOS, I ran the memory and the hard drive test, and nothing has worked so far. Another thing that you have would be appreciated.

I have a care package which is always good, but I'm in Chile until August. It would still be possible to make a claim and took in charge?

Hello

If the system restore failed, so the last option would be the system recovery. Reinstall the OS (operating system)?

If the system recovery defective then computer must send to the HP service center.

    @MtBaez,

    Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  The only way you can cover or run 3 monitors must have special equipment when dealing with a laptop.  There is nothing that we support, but you can search google on what is needed to do this.  It will also take special software.

  • Pavillion dv6 6b15ed: Driverupdate to fix the black screen at startup windows 10!

    Hello

    Question:

    Is there a new driver is released for my AMD Radeon HD card 6755 2? (double grafics)

    Because the latest driver causes a black screen at startup. Sequence: wenn turn on u see hp and that start-up logo win 10 after that it crashes on a black screen for about 2 minutes, then start 10. (about 2, 5 minutes later)

    I have now installed a windows 8 (issues) driver and windows starts in 6 seconds (with normal hard drive).

    I can't play the games but the bootspeed is good.

    So is there a fix or is there is 1 entry?

    TNX

    While the video card is not supported with the latest drivers.

    You can update as much if you want to, but isn't is not helping.

    Even in charge AMD said that this card is not supported with drivers.

    But today, I tried 1 times more, I used the old driver AMD_Display_13.352.

    With the first reboot, it was still black and some errors of the pilot, but after that the second quick start installation restarts!

    Appearance of the logo Windows 10 only 3 or 4 seconds and start immediately, without black screen and I got sound, video and video tube work as well.

    If other people having the same problem download Drivethelife and download the old pilot 13.352 and see for yourself.

    Make sure u delete all drivers previously installed with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) of guru3d site.

    Almost forgot: I also disabled windowsupdate to prevend install other drivers (new).

    Hello!

    I use the Ralink 802.11 Wireless LAN Adapter version 5.0.5.0 for window8 driver. After that I've updated, wifi bandwidth reduced from 150mbps to 54 Mbps. Why, after the update, the bandwidth decreases? And how can solve this problem?

    Hey NguyenTrungTung,

    I'm sorry that you are having a problem with your speed wireless after the update of the driver. I confirmed that 5.0.5.0 is the latest version. I would say making sure you have the latest version of BIOS as well. If both versions are out of sync, it could cause problems of this kind.

    Version of the BIOS F.24

    You can check your current BIOS version by:

    1. Windows 8 : from the home screen, type "msinfo32". Click msinfo32 in the list of results.

    He tried the last know configs but that did not work. How can I help fix this?

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
  • HP Pavilion dv6t-7000: Please HELP! Fetching drivers after the Windows Setup
    Hello
    I think I messed my laptop pretty badly. I have improved my Win 7 Home Premium x 64 to win 10 by using Windows Update, but I have stumbled on the question of the "black screen" and could not solve the problem, so what I did was reinstall my windows using a Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 configuration, which was a huge mistake.
    It seems I've lost not many things after installing, but I want to fix right now is internet connection and USB connection. Currently, the only way is to Exchange data with my laptop via a CD. It seems that my laptop cannot recognize a cable ethernet as a removable storage device, and I guess that's because I'm missing a bunch of pilots:
    The 'Ethernet controller' used to be among the "other devices" with an exclamation point, but I just installed the Realtek PCIe (SP63213) thing and it appeared under 'network adapters '. I guess it has something to do with the issue of cable internet, but did not check whether it has been fixed or not. [Edit: it has indeed fixed the issue of the internet.] At least now I have internet connection]
    As you can see, there's quite a few other drivers missing as listed in the section other devices. I tried the update driver option, but could not do everywhere. If I choose "Browse my computer for driver software", then "Let Me pick from a list of device...", then "select type your device... "I'll get to a long list of many things (screenshot below) and I have no idea where I should go from here.
    I tried to select some items, but still got the error "the device could not be started."
    So, my questions are: how to get all these missing drivers? How can I make my phone able to recognize again the USB? Can I really fix these just by choosing the correct point in the list above (which means that I will not need internet connection)? Or I have to download the correct stuff on the internet?
    My laptop is a HP dv6t-7000 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC. Now, my OS is Win 7 Ultimate x 64. It would be of any help, the hardware for the controller (USB) ID are:
    PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1E31 & CC_0C0330
    PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_1E31 & CC_0C03
    We can always hope
    Hello:
    Here are the links for most of the drivers you need except the network (wireless card) controller.  I need to have the hardware for this ID, because there may be more than one model wireless network card installed.
    Game chips and graphics...
    First install the Intel chipset driver and restart (smbus controller).
    This package contains the driver and Intel Chipset Installation Utility for the notebook models and operating systems. This utility allows the operating system to show the correct name for the Intel hardware that is installed in the Microsoft Windows Device Manager.
    File name: sp56156.exe
    Then, install the Intel HD graphics driver and restart.
    This package provides the driver that allows graphics Intel high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.
    File name: sp56808.exe
    Then install the HD graphics nVidia Driver and reboot.
    This package provides the driver that allows the graphics from NVIDIA high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.
    File name: sp59787.exe
    Audio: Installation and reboot.
    This package contains the driver that allows Audio IDT high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
    File name: sp57966.exe
    PCI device:
    This package contains the driver that allows the Realtek card reader in laptop models running a supported operating system. The card reader allows users to read or write to removable storage cards supported, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players and cell phones.
    File name: sp56166.exe
    Simple controller PCI of Comms:
    This package provides the driver Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) for the notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface allows communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.
    File name: sp56158.exe
    USB3 controller:
    This package provides the driver for the Intel USB 3.0 controller host for the notebook models and operating systems. The driver allows USB 3.0 devices.
    File name: sp56164.exe
    One of the unknown devices probably has this driver...
    This package provides the HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection software (HP 3D Driveguard) for the laptop models running a supported operating system. HP (HP 3D Driveguard) ProtectSmart hard drive Protection software protects the hard drive of "parking the heads ' if the laptop fell accidentally, or is suddenly hit by another object.
    File name: sp61037.exe
    The other unknown is probably this driver...
    This package contains the driver that allows the validity fingerprint sensor in the notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The fingerprint sensor analyzes fingerprints for use with biometric security applications.
    File name: sp56403.exe
    You can find all drivers and most of the software you need for your model on the link below.
    I can tell you how to make bootable disks, but you already have a disk.
    He has changed since good means of XP repair install from disk by booting from it.
    I would add that info to disk Bootable repair, just in case your DVD is a factory of one computer.
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-Vista.html
    It's Vista only repair installation option these days.
    It must be switched on!
    Not much use, is it!
    Good luck with it.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  • ACPI.sys corrupted at startup disk on the black screen windows

    When I start my computer normally all I get is a black screen with my cursor on it before I reach the log on screen (but after normal of the windows startup process).  I tried Ctrl alt del and nothing happens, there is no beep or anything along those lines is.  I tried safe mode, but exactly the same thing happens, I get a black screen with white inscription around the edges, telling me that I'm in safe mode and my slider is still there and moves, but other then that is all black screen.  Ctrl alt delete doesn't work or any other key press on that I skipped.  I put in my windows XP CD and he would try to repair or reinstall the operating system but when I boot on the CD, it starts to load normally and then stops and gives me the error message "the acpi.sys file is corrupted.  Press a key to continue' when I press any button it goes upwards and brings back me to the black screen with the cursor.  I tried to go into the BIOS and turn off acpi but the loading and the startup disk produce the exact same results any bios settings I try.  Any help would be appreciated, either for obtaining windows at startup after the black screen without the startup disk or get me to the point where I can still use the CD (which I should mention that I have used before and it worked well, is the one responsible for my windows XP in the first place and who is clean and scratch free).  Thank you for any help or advice.  Oh, and I must add that I have installed any new software or whatever it is like in the last month or two, so I don't think it is something like that.
