  Thank you for your comments. My roommate eventually find me a partial solution. We uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled an iTunes earlier. He thinks that my computer isn't compatible with the latest version of iTunes. So I have the version iTunes 12.1.1 for Windows (64-bit for older video cards), rather than the 12.1.2. We are still not certain why my computer did not have the latest version (it's probably just old) but I can find my iPhone on iTunes now so I'll just ti let to the old version.

  I have a brand new HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook PC, Intel (r) Core i7-2630QM CPU, 8 GB, Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, Service Pack 1 64-bit. Beats audio, Radeon graphics card

  It does not play Netflix streaming - the screen is dark, even though the video seems to play, and there is no sound.

  It does not play videos YouTube - video playback but the sound is off. It goes the same for Megavideo and other streaming services.

• HP Pavilion dv7: RealTek Cardreader does not work after upgrade to Windows 10 10

  After the upgrade to Windows 10 64-bit of Windows 7 64-bit, the Realtek PCIE card reader does not work.  Device Manager showed initially a card reader driver error, but after the reboot, I can not find an error or the device itself.

  If you cancel the driver for graphics card AMD to the previous version, the HDMI output works again. That's what I discovered when I couldn't access my Epson projector. There must be a glitch in the new driver that was released by AMD in March 2016.

  Ive just bought a 2nd pavilion laptop in hand I can't reformat. My problem is the arrow keys of the keyboard, to the top to the bottom and right don't work only the arrow to the left. Someone else changed the boot order so I can't return it back to boot from the cd rom without arrows. As I am here in Australia I don't have access to the new keyboards.   I recently got a HP Pavillion Entertainment, model number dv7 - 3188cl, for me to use for a class at the school by my uncle. Before the recovery, everything worked perfectly well. My uncle asked me to reset the computer, so we used the recovery disks that wiped the hard drive successfully but then refuses to reinstall the operating system. Instead of getting another set of recovery disks that I've used a Windows 7 install disc to reinstall the OS and he did so successfully with one flaw, the laptop does not connect to the internet.

  I tried to connect via ethernet and it does not find my WiFi network. I suspect his lack a driver and checked for drivers on the HP site but he said that there is none. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, and if there is no driver for this I would be grateful if you could tell me where to download from.

• HP Pavilion dv6t-7000: Ralink RT5390R wireless adapter does not connect to 802.11n network

  I have a HP Pavilion dv6t-7000, equipped with the Ralink RT5390R wireless adapter.  For the life of me, I can't get it to connect to my home network when implemented as 802.11n.  They connect other devices. If I change my router 802.11 g, but no other change, doe HP connect. But if I return the router to 802.11n, HP sees the network, and it correctly identifies as a 802.11n network, but does not connect.

  The router is a D - Link DIR-615 (N300 2.4 ghz)

  Found a solution.  Both HP and windows said I had the most current drivers, but this HP forum had a link to a newer driver.  Installed and it worked.
