Pavilion dv7-6c75eo: 10 start Windows (black screen for about 1 min.)

Windows 7 (System. org) was running fast and good.

Updated to 10 and after a few reboots, it has been installed and working.

whenever I start cold blue windows logo appears and the device goes into screen black.

It remains so for at least 1 minute and then the login screen appears. All the drivers are updated day/install.

I tried to do a clean 10 x 64 Windows and installed well installation and rebooted.

This time it was much faster (a few seconds) and I went into the Device Manager.

I could see that Windows installed the drivers for various devices like the unknown devices disappeared one by one.

Some time after (with 1 remaining peripheral unknown not related to the problem) it restarts.

Now I'm on the black screen again whenever I restart.

I hope that the description of this issue is understandable

I've updated the hard drive on a disk of 120 GB and second disk SSD Intel with a disk of 1000 GB new

    Hello

    Please download CCleaner here and when it is installed, open it, appointment on the 'clean' tab, leave all the boxes even and click run while cleaning.

    When you have done this, go to the 'Tools' tab, select uninstall and bottom right, select Save to text file, select a file name for it, and then open the saved document. Send the contents of it in your next reply.

    It is possible that it is caused by corrupted files. You can try to run the System File Check to check (and challenge!) corrupted files.

  • HP Pavilion dv7 will not start Windows 7

    I need assistance or advice from those who have more experience or a more extensive knowledge in this area. I'm working on an HP Pavilion dv7 Notebook pc. Product # is LW181UA #ABA. It has a CPU of 2 gig Hz Intel i7, 8 GB of memory (2 4 gig mem modules), a Hitachi 750 gigbyte HD. He ran and passed the tests of memory, burn in tests, tests of hard drive and startup tests that are run by pressing F2 during power on. When you arrive at the start of the operating system screen. It has Windows 7 64-bit version of the operating system. Then he begins to show the bar graph to slip at the bottom of the screen shows the percent of loading hangs and emits a constant beeeping. If I try to go for repair options or selections of recovery, it does the same thing. For me, I don't see how I can have a hardware problem because it seems to pass memory, disk and start diagnosis? The only thing the owner said to me was that they had spilled a glass of water or soda on the laptop. I expected the pc must be dead or have a power supply problem but not the case. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated because I don't know where to go from here. Also, I use an external keyboard.

    Hello

    There are two options available.

    1. you can order a set of replacement recovery disks using the link below - it will reinstall the operating system, all the drivers, and almost all of the original software (the exception being often tests of MS Office).  They will also recreate all of the original scores, including the recovery Partition.

    Order HP recovery disks.

    2 another option, if you came to laptop with Windows 7, you might consider is to create your own installation disc.

    Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

    An example of a COA label can be seen here.

    You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the good Disk Image ( must be the same version - i.e. Home Premium.) Professional etc. - initially supplied with your laptop ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write an ISO on a disc is here.  The source of the Image is Digital River.

    Windows 7 sp1-iso-official-32-bit-and-64-bit

    Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

  • Pavilion DV7: How to make windows 10 talk to external monitor?

    I changed my Pavilion DV7 (product # ww185av) from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

    Since then, the laptop appears on my external monitor (HP x 2511).

    The screen remains black.

    Laptop computer connection and monitor worked very well just before the switch.

    If I P-window and choose "duplicate", the laptop tells me that I don't have the optimal resolution and it changes the screen resolution of mobile, but the external monitor stays black.  Somehow, I found once a "detection" option to get another monitor, but windows cannot find a second monitor. I tried to re-allocation of places the connection htmi several times.

    I suspect the video driver, because my laptop wonder is no longer on whether I want to change GPU when I plug/unplug power supply.  I suspect that it is running low power GPU, and he never liked talking to the screen when executing that GPU.  But I have not found a panel that allows me to spend.   My video drivers are updated according to windows and hp advisor software.  Some HP site says that HP does not support windows on machines more than 10 2 years, one of which is mine.

    Any thoughts on how to get the laptop to talk to the screen?  Should I just go back to Windows 7?

    The expert event is over, no one offers a 'plan B', and my Windows 10 grace period is exhausted.

    I came back to Windows 7 and my monitor works fine again.

  • Vista will not start! Black screen, no mouse, no cursor pointer. Startup Repair cannot repair. Details say 'wrong pass '. What is the correct syntax for pkgmgr to uninstall?

    Vista will not start!  Black screen, no mouse, no cursor pointer.  Startup Repair cannot repair.  Details say 'wrong pass '.  It looks like all the files are well intact on the disk.

    What is the correct for pkgmgr syntax when you try to uninstall an update by using a command prompt when starting Vista OS disk?  I entered the following in the "x:\Sources >" prompt:

    start /w pkgmgr/o: "C:\; /Up:Package_1_for_KB2840149~31bf3856ad364e35~x86~~6.0.1.0 C:\Windows.

    When I run this command it ends quickly and when I run 'echo %errorlevel%' I get '5', which seems to mean 'access denied'.  How am I supposed to have access to remove the patch?  Am I missing something?  Perhaps a switch in the syntax to access?  Help, please.  Thank you.

    I tried both options that you recommended.  As initially stated, no boot option would produce something other than the black screen.  I tried to boot from a drive and restoring the system running, but she didn't, and when I tried to do it again the recovery console could not find restore points. ?.

    An update, the computer is now fixed.  Oddly enough, I ran recovery of starting a drive at least 8 times and each time I checked the details and he said: he ran chkdsk without error and return to the same cause "a patch is preventing windows to start.  I even ran chkdsk c: /f from a prompt command from the recovery disk and it found no errors.  That's when I posted the question above after trying to remove the patch in the manner described above.  After some time and frustration, I decided to run chkdsk /r c:.  It took awhile, but it found 1 bad sector, moved the data, the bad sector tag and finished.  Once I restarted from that, everything came and went very well.

    So, the original question remains, what was missing in the command to run pkgmgr/high: successfully.  And the new question exists as to why start Recovery claims run chkdsk if it does not, or he turns the version/f not the version/r the same as I did manually?  It would be good to know for the future.  Thank you!

  • Start the computer to the top, but before the office back I get a black screen for 5 to 15 minutes long.

    Basically what the title says, "computer starts up, but before the office is up I get a black screen for 5-15 minutes long."

    I don't know the problem, looking it up and this is an annoying problem.

    Hi InterestedLearner,

    -Have you done recent changes made to your computer before this problem occurred?

    Updated the graphics driver and check if it helps fix the problem.

    Visit the manufacturer's Web site to do the same.

    Take a look at these items as well for more information on updating a driver:
  • Qosmio F50-125 starts with black screen after a BIOS update

    Hello

    After instalation if new bios (v 2.0), computer sometimes starts with black screen.
    Even the first page that show press F2 to enter the bios is not displayed.

    You have someone older version of bios?
    So, I might try if it's the fault of it.

    Hello

    I think that the old BIOS will not help you because the laptop would have known that you try to update the BIOS to the older version, and it would break to the top of the procedure.
    In addition, the older BIOS is not available on the European driver Toshiba page.
    I think just only a Toshiba ASP had an older version of BIOS.

    Anyway, you said that sometimes happens.
    This means that this issue doesn't still persist
    Hmm. in this case, I recommend the default BIOS settings and update the driver display.

    Check it out!

  • Crash stuck to repair or start windows normally screen.

    system was crushed, put off during a windows update. never had a problem before. Stuck repair (recommended or start windows normally screen.) How can I fix it?

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
  • Black screen appears 2-3 min long on Satellite L850-F313
    I have problem with my laptop Satellite L850-F313, when I start my laptop computer, a black screen comes after Windows Welcome I see a black screen for 2 or 3 minutes until the desktop is displayed.
    I thought that the black screen comes from Microsoft issue but when I contacted them they told me that I have to check with Toshiba because this problem can be solved by Toshiba.
    Could you please help me?
    Could connect you an external monitor to the laptop and you could check if something would be seen on the external monitor?
    You said that after short time (2 / 3 minutes) the office would appear... Well, for me, it means that the system needs time to complete the start-up procedure.
    Without doubt, the question relates only to some of the problems of the system and so I might recommend to a Toshiba recovery procedure and to check the laptop functionality using the recovered expenses system.
    I don't know what windows system was preinstalled on this laptop, but usually you can use the recovery media created clean in order to start the recovery process, or you can use the recovery of HARD drive... process details should be described in the laptop user manual.
    Original title: help - csvhost.exe and problems to start
    My sons laptop has problems - try to turn on and it would maintain a black screen for a few seconds and then turned off and turn and repeat until I've done a hard stop.  I am able to navigate to the top after repeated attempts.  I could take a quick and complete hard drive test and it passed... Finally, I restored to factory and spent the last 8 hours going through the update process.  It works fine and restart without problems until recently - I followed the instructions to reboot to perform an update, but he had served in the "shutting down" mode for almost an hour I did a firm hard down.  It took a few attempts so he could begin after that, and when I did I had a message on the svchost.exe and thought that might have something to with him... found a site that has a download that is supposed to fix errors and am curious if that is recommended or whether there is another solution or possible make my misfortunes.  The site is: http://www.exe-error-advisor.com/svchost-exe.  I don't know what's happening - the computer works very well when it turns - to be fair, I did also made an update of "HP Total Care Advisor" who has nothing and after I rebooted I could not make it work... "HP Advisor has stopped working"
    As often occurs when the wrong VGA driver is installed.  This occurs when the view Agent is installed on the desktop, and then the VMware Tools is updated after the fact.  The result is the driver included with the Agent to view VGA is replaced with the VGA driver in VMware Tools.  You can see some advantages to the relocation of the Agent of the view, or update the VMware Tools and then install the Agent from the view.
