Pavilion dv7 - battery ' Plugged in and not charging '-0%
My Pavilion dv7 laptop battery is dead. I plugged and should load, as it normally would. This time it will all charge. It says "Plugged in and not charging. The battery life is currently 0%, and if I unplug the laptop turns off immediately.
I don't think you understood WHAT I was asking...
However, the problem corrected itself. There was a software update, which I needed to have access to the internet. When the computer has been closed by ME instead of death, it updated itself.

HP Pavilion DV7-2015tx adapter beep and not charging.
I desperately need help. I have a pavilion laptop Dv7-2015tx computer and my adapter is beeping and refusing to load. My battery recently failed, and so I can't turn on my laptop. I tried a hard reset, I tried to leave it unplugged for an hour and even shaking autour as suggested by some people on some forums as a solution. The light on the adapter is not on, and this problem has happened 2 times before, both times, the adapter has continued to work after about an hour to be disconnected. This time he didn't. I contacted HP telephone support, but they said that I was going to post a MASSIVE $33 phone support because it was out of warranty. I can't find an answer on this forum and want to be able to find a solution without having to buy another card. Before this problem, my laptop was turned off for a day and a night while being plugged. I desperately need help, please answer from HP.
I'm certainly not under warranty, but I have a solution anyway. I called HP customer care again and this time I was told that it is a good, hard to solve the problem. The only solution is a new adapter, but I found a new on for under $ $20 on eBay still we made a simple diagnosis, for example, by ensuring that it was still beeps when it is plugged into the wall but not the laptop, and the fire was still out. I'm still bummed that I have to wait for delivery, but my laptop needs to go in a factory repair for a noisy fan problem, and also a radiator problem that caused my laptop to get up to 70 degrees, so it's a good time to wait.

Original title: why does my battery not charge? It keeps on saying plugged in but not charging
He has not yet changed.
Hello

Was there any change in software/hardware performed on the computer before the show?
I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.
Method 1:
a. turn off the laptop completely.
b. remove the battery from the bottom.
c. leave the battery of the laptop for 5-10 minutes.
d. plug the adapter into the laptop (still remove the battery).
e. turn on the system and let it fully boot in Windows.
f. once it arrives on the desktop to launch all startup items. In other words, do not interrupt the boot process until everything is prepared.
g so go ahead and shut down the computer normally (using the START > turn off computer method).
h. once the system is turned off, plug the battery back in and turn on the computer.

Method 2: Uninstall the device battery from the Device Manager
a. click Start , and then start the Device Manager type in the search box and press ENTER.
(b) this will open the Device Manager.
c. under the battery option, right-click on the device that you see (method battery compatible ACPI Microsoft control) and click on Uninstall.
d. restart the computer. Windows will automatically detect the battery and try to install the drivers.
e. Once done, check if the problem persists.
If you have a spare adapter, connect and check.

U310 battery plugged in but not charging
Hello
My battery stops approximately 58% of load. I have the power management set to «optimized battery life» I understand that this has something to do with a charge/discharge threshold setting. How can I change this? Also, what would be a good standard to (good for the health of the battery).
Thank you!
Dear Kaldr,
Welcome to Lenovo Community
The (battery optimized) contributes to the protection of the battery and increase the battery life.
By choosing the (optimized battery), the fresh battery at 60% and stops charging the battery and then it take its power from the charger, so if you want to charge the battery to 100%, you should choose (maximum autonomy).
Please try this solution and if the problem persists, let me know.

battery is not detected, plugged in and not charging
Hello
I have problems with charging the battery and my Windows 7. When starting, the battery is detected in the BIOS and load (led lit without flashing). As soon as the computer stops on my drive HARD and Windows loads, the light starts flashing, indicating that the battery is not. In Windows, the battery meter displays "no battery detected" or "plugged and no charging current.
At first I thought that my battery was simply grow old, but accident I forgot to plug in the power adapter and the computer came out of the battery for ~1.5h, even if Windows does not recognize a battery. This still applies, which I have not found a solution for another.
I tried to run the material off another copy of Win7 and the same thing happens. I did not have time to try Linux or Windows XP, since I don't own or. I also tried to uninstall the battery ACPI Control Manager device, but without success.
Any suggestion would be great, because I have not found that any forum messages similar to the following.
Sincerely, Clarence

My Satellite phone is plugged in but not charging
Plugged in and not charging - what it means?
If your laptop runs correctly but the battery is always on 0%, I assume that the battery is faulty and should be replaced.
I have the same issue on my Satellite A300. Battery is recognized correctly, battery charge LED is orange (State of charge) but battery stays on 0%.
Which machine do you have?

HP Pavilion G6 computer 1093SA laptop does not charge when I plug in the power adapter

The battery is dead. When I try to turn on the laptop by plugging the AC adapter does not charge or led power LED does not turn on. But when I press the power button, the power, the indicator flashes and turns off (when power adapter connected).
(1) I tried the press and holding the power button for 30 seconds after removing the battery & AC adapter / CC.
(2) I tried to change the power adapter too.
The problem is that it is.
Your advice is very much appreciated.
Thank you best regards &,.

Dear customer,
Welcome and thanks for posting your question on the Forum of Support HP
It seems that you are not able to turn on the laptop and tried to solve the problem
Please perform steps listed to find out if it is a hardware or software problem below:
1. remove all cables and devices, disconnect them and try to turn on the device
2. check the LED light situation and ensure the action of the spring button / stop is normal
3 Exchange with a well known power cord and the AC adapter
4 Pack no adapters are available, check if the power adaptor is slightly warm
Note: This will give us an indication that the power adapter could be good
5. do you know if the laptop was in battery or power adapter when you used the last time
Note: Make sure that there is no spill of liquid or cutting
6. check if the Port of the AC adaptor is loose/broken
Note: If the laptop is not on even with a power adapter well known, this confirms the hardware failure with the system board or power DC Circuit

Aspire M5 - 481 T-6488 - does not recognize that AC is plugged. Will not charge the battery.
Laptop is about 2 years old. Running on the Windows 8 origninal accompanying. Had the same problem when it was purchased. He sent to Acer. Returned with no report / Details. Has worked very well. Until recently.
Noticed that seeing orange lights up when it feels like load and stops at 35% load. Load is something dark, don't miss especially.
Tried:
Stick a PIN in the "battery reset" hole on the back
Uninstalling the 'API Microsoft' battery
Remove the battery to see if it'll work without it (it has an internal battery)
Of course Acer won't help now since the warranty has expired.
Please notify. Thank you.
Power plug has been checked, flinched 19V.
Laptop briefly, then lost load capacity. Checked power once again, 0V.
Power adapter is bad.

in the taskbar windows says its plugged in but not charging - unplugging and plugging back in cures repeatedly sometimes the problem

Remove the battery and start your laptop with AC power only. When windows is fully loaded, put the battery in place.

Re: Satellite A500 (PSAR9E) battery - plugged in, does not support
Yesterday, I noticed that my battery is at 74% - plugged in but not charging. Laptop not working ok, no problem.
Before this problem occurred, I started it upward, he worked for 10 minutes on the battery without connected charger. Then it just stops what it self. I thought that maybe the battery was low so I plugged it on. After a while, I noticed that it does not load, I have it plugged into power-it shuts down as there is no current battery. Tried to remove the battery, plugged into the cable from the Jack, put back them, the battery cable, it starts and still nothing... Today it of about 72% and still does not support... Laptop is 2 years old. Battery has been working great until now.
Please help if you know the solution, thank you!
What to say?
Start the laptop without battery and when the windows are fully charged put the battery in place.
I imagine that the battery will be recognized correctly. Is the same situation when this happens? It will be interesting to know how it works with a new battery. At the moment, we can say more about it. The problem is battery or maybe electronic power?
It is not easy to say what the problem is here.

My laptop is plugged in but not charging
My phone displays 'sometimes' that it does not load even if the power is connected.
I called HP Tech Support twice. Each time, they asked me to update the BIOS and firmware
before performing the battery test (both at startup and using HP diagnostic S/W). The test always
said that the battery is OK. I can run the laptop without battery installed without any problem, which
probably does the charger.
This problem comes and goes. HP is unwilling to do anything until the problem can be clearly
identified. My warranty is about to expire (in 3 days), and I'm afraid that this problem won't get
resolved before this date. Could someone help me with this problem?
Thank you.
